"It was our favorite destination hotel. Our third visit and longest stay this time. But unfortunately, no more hot Onsen water....😭 Facility is good. The view is amazing. But what made us return to this place was because of Onsen. Onsen water should be hot. It was just like a heated pool this time. I don't know whatever the reason is. If they can't keep Onsen hot, that's not Onsen anymore. It's so disappointing 😞 残念😭"

"Overall, this accommodation offers excellent value for money. The room was extremely clean, which we really appreciated. We booked a room with a private bathroom. At first, we thought the living room and kitchen would be shared with all guests staying in the villa. However, it turned out that the villa is divided into independent units with three rooms inside one unit. We only shared the living room with guests from the other two rooms in the same unit. During our stay, no one else really used the common area, so it felt very comfortable and almost private. The self check-in via kiosk was very convenient, as we didn’t have to interact with anyone. Near the kiosk, there is also a water dispenser, sofas to rest on, and a restroom, which was very thoughtful. We also liked the variety of restaurant recommendation QR codes displayed at the property. We stayed here with our 8-year-old child and had a very relaxing time. We would definitely stay here again whenever we visit Ipoh."

"I had a wonderful stay at D’Kelly Hotel. It’s a new and modern hotel, and everything feels fresh, clean, and well-maintained. The room was very comfortable and equipped with high-tech facilities, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The bed was new and very cozy, perfect for a good night’s rest. The facilities are impressive, especially the nice swimming pool, which is great for relaxing. There is also a café next door that opens until 2am, so it’s very convenient if you get hungry late at night. Overall, the hotel offers great comfort, modern design, and excellent value for money. The environment is pleasant, and it’s clear that a lot of effort has gone into making guests feel comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice and comfortable stay in this area. I would definitely stay here again!"

"First time try out. Lobby is nice and cosy except personally I don’t like the room. Soundproofing of the door is terrible and the theme colour of the room I don’t really like it. It doesn’t give out a very good vibes. Gym room located not a good location and it close super early around 8pm??? I didn’t took picture of the room cos I just want to faster get over for 1 night and check out. I won’t be back. P/s I read from review hair dryer is Dyson brand. It is not. Is just normal China brand. Quality is okay as most things are made in China."

"This is a basic three-star hotel that covers the essentials. Good only for a short stay. The room is a decent size but pretty bare-bones. Most of the room floor is tiled—not wooden, SPC or carpeted —and the amenities are minimalist. The TV set is small and has a limited number of channels. Wi-Fi is not so good, and there is no swimming pool. Parking is free, but it is out on open ground and a bit of a walk to get to the entrance. Difficult when it is raining. On a positive note, the staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help. Big thumbs up to them—keep it up!"

"I truly feel fortunate and lucky to have discovered this HIDDEN JEM of a Hotel! It is Centrally Located in IPOH, Malaysia and Shopping and Restaurants are closeby and within walking distance! The room was spacious, clean and with a very comfortable bed too! The Room rates are quite reasonable and a great overall value. I think what sets this Artistic Hotel apart from others is the 5-Star Service provided by each and every member of the Team! I had the pleasure to meet the General Manager, Front Desk staff and Room Attendenta and each and everyone had a positive attitude and genuinely cared if I was happy at ALL times. I believe they went above and beyond ALL of my expectations to ensure I was 110% SATISFIED with my stay. YES, QUITE FRANKLY, I WAS 110% SATISFIED WITH MY STAY AND HOPEFULLY I'LL BE BACK IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND WOULD LOVE TO STAY HERE AGAIN! ¡Gracias Amigos! Señor Ricardo"

"Fantastic location in the centre of everything including food and shopping. Connected to ipoh parade. They have a lovely infinity swimming pool on the top floor overseeing ipoh city. Food, both breakfast and free supper were very tasty. The only slight downside is the patchy internet. But definitely our ideal hotel."

I stayed at this new hotel in Ipoh for two nights. It’s located just behind the AC Hotel and directly opposite Ipoh Parade, making it a very strategic and convenient spot. All the popular eateries are within a 15-minute walking distance. The room is spacious, more like a studio; very clean, and pleasantly quiet. For a one- to two-person stay, it truly feels more like a home than a hotel. The staff are friendly. While there doesn’t seem to be regular room service or housekeeping, you can request assistance at the counter. Overall, highly recommended!

The location of the hotel is good, not far from the famous eateries area. The basement of parking is limited and parking in another building js available. There is a free shuttle connecting parking B to the main building. However it only runs between 8am till 11pm. There is a 7eleven convenient shop at the lobby. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. There is a pantry in every floor for water refill.

This hotel truly offers a special atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond; our names were even on a welcome board! We were upgraded and treated like VIPs. The general manager clearly fosters excellent hospitality. Even a waiter moonlighting as a village trekking guide made our experience unforgettable. It felt more like a home than a hotel. If you're looking for authentic warmth and connection, this is it!

Location in city center. Short walk to The Store. Opposite the famous Pusing Seafoid restaurant. Basement car park is provided. Ample oarking space. Room and beds are comfortable. Floor is a bit dusty. SK Magic water dispenser is provided at the lobby. Nice and cosy lobby. Carpet needs to be vacuumed properly. Breakfast is good. Wide variety. Super value! Highly recommended.

(Unit 6-13) I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the apartment. The sofa and dining chairs had noticeable dirt, and the toilet and kitchen appeared yellowish. I also felt uncomfortable using the kettle and ended up purchasing water from 7-Eleven instead. Additionally, I noticed that our unit was on the same floor as the children’s playground, which is connected by a fence. However, the fence does not have a lock, allowing anyone from the playground to easily access our unit and anyone can see from outside if the living room curtains are left open. Furthermore, the sliding door lock was broken, making it easy for someone to enter from the playground. Although a technician came to address the issue, I still felt uneasy since the screw was loose, and for an expert thief, this kind of sliding door is quite easy to open. I checked in around 8 PM after a long day of traveling, and it was frustrating to deal with these issues upon arrival. Resolving the sliding door problem took about an hour, which added to my stress. I believe it would be beneficial for owners to check these aspects before guests arrive. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with the expectations set by the photos. Despite I opting for a higher-priced for Muji unit for a better experience, but I found it lacking. Regrettably, I will not recommend this unit to my friends based on my stay. PS : You cannot lock the door or you will be penalised RM100. You may refer photo for more info.

The location very good. You can walk to many famous restaurants in Ipoh old town. All not more than ten minute, very convenient. House is very big and bed is comfortable. But the smell from the sewer is very strong and extremely unpleasant. It helped when you close the toilet’s door. Not much soundproof,you can hear other guests walking and chatting at the corridor. It can be quite noisy in the morning and night when people passing by. The design of the car park is a nightmare. It’s octagon shaped - really challenging when you drive the car up to level 7 in one go. The management team quite approachable. They will collect RM300 for damage deposit through credit card. And will return in 1-2 days after your check out. ( I haven’t checked if I received the return).

Very unpleasant experience. I would never book this hotel again. Even though we stayed for only one night, too many things went wrong. When we arrived, the receptionist couldn’t find our booking. After that, we were given a hotel access card that was very old and broken with tape patched. When we went to the room, the door was already slightly open. Inside the room, the DB box cover was open and hanging upward, which felt unsafe. There were no refills for tissue paper, shampoo, or shower gel, and there was no hair dryer at all. the pillow cotton is coming out, all furniture are old and not well maintained. To make things worse, at around 2:20 a.m., all the electricity suddenly went off — all switches stopped working and there was no power. Overall, a very bad experience and definitely not worth it.
