"Of course I choose this hotel because more cheaper than its neighbor which is Swiss Garden but the slow lift and joint facilities like pools, parking and gym is the same. Plus point is there's a sofa bed that can act as an extra bed. Housekeeping still no improve since last time I stayed here. Still dust everywhere even the kettle. Too lazy to wipe? Short staff? Manager no conduct spot check? 'Asal boleh' attitude? Anyway yeah me oso no serik came here, mainly for the kiddie pool 💯. Don't forget to bring your kain sarong as the bathroom is kinda see through. If couple or family with infant then okla."

"Stayed overnight recently and overall had a pleasant experience. Location is convenient if you’re driving, but not very pedestrian-friendly. The hotel has an industrial, chic design that’s visually appealing, though it can feel a little sterile. Check-in was smooth and the service throughout the stay was excellent. Breakfast is simple but adequate, some hit and miss dishes like the noodle in prawn broth was super bland and tasteless. Only small gripe: the trays are a bit too tall for fun-sized people 🤭. We were assigned a corner room, which came with a smaller window, and a few practical issues: • Power outlet is quite far from the bed • Bathroom is tiny, and the door opens inward • No trash bags in the bins, which was a bit inconvenient • TV isn’t a smart TV • No pool • Open-air corridor with no AC, so it gets very hot when walking to and from the room Despite these drawbacks, it’s still a decent stay if you value style, good service, and plan to get around by car."

"Great location. Room looks the same with the photo provided in app. However the facilities were not maintained well. A lot of items having wear and tear but hotel only repair till ”able to use” mode only instead of changing them. Pillow case and blanket were found with unknown stain, query stool / bloods / others. Called housekeeping for extra towel, took nearly 30 mins for it to arrive in room. Aircon totally not cold even though temperature set at 16 °C throughout the night. Hopefully hotel can do a better maintainance, replace item when it deems not presentable."

"Located in an alley behind Hatten Hotel with Bus/coach bay (1 way traffic direction). Parking is chargable. Nearby Shopping mall - Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. walking distance to Jonker Street. Room was spacious (living room, 2 bedrooms 2 toilets) comfortable beds (2 single & 1 queen size). Bathroom was clean. No Face / hand towel provided. TV reception was weak. the chair cushions were abit worn off and dust can been seen on beams of the table. Some wood lamination has peel off and chips near the window panel. The spread of the morning breakfast was plain and simple with 1 ”live” egg cooking section. hence did not opt or it."

"This is our 2nd small luxury hotel stay. We stayed here for our anniversary. Melaka lake cruise is right in front of the hotel- a walking distance across the street. The room is cosy and lovely. Breakfast is ala carte, but you can order as many as you want from the menu (big portion!), and they're delicious! Dorothy, the staff was so attentive, she sent us a an anniversary cake to our room when she heard us talking about our special day 🥰"

"I stayed at Asiatic Hotel Melaka and booked the Family Suite with jacuzzi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a living area, balcony, and in-room spa bath. While it’s not a true duplex layout, the suite still felt roomy and comfortable for families or groups. The jacuzzi was definitely the highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Amenities such as WiFi, smart TV, minibar, and toiletries were all provided, making the stay convenient. Parking is available in front of the hotel, free but limited on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you arrive during peak hours, you might need to circle around to find a spot. Location is excellent – close to major attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and shopping malls (Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade). There are plenty of eateries and convenience stores nearby, so dining is not an issue even though the hotel doesn’t have its own restaurant. One small downside is the soundproofing; you can sometimes hear noise from the hallway. The lift is also on the smaller side, so it can get busy during peak times. Overall, Asiatic Hotel Melaka is a great choice if you want a spacious suite with jacuzzi, free parking, and a central location. It’s comfortable and good value, especially for families or friends traveling together."

The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, easily accommodating an extra bed or two, which is fantastic for families or groups traveling together. I appreciated the layout and comfort, allowing me to relax after a day of exploring. Additionally, the hotel's location is a significant advantage. It offers easy access to many of the city's attractions, and the convenience of using Grab for transportation made navigating the area a breeze. Overall, my stay at DoubleTree Melaka was a delightful experience, thanks to the attentive staff, comfortable accommodations, and great location. I look forward to returning in the future!"
