"We booked two Studio Suite Twin for a family stay for 2 days. The staff was kind enough to give us adjoining rooms. The fixture and fittings are a bit old but the rooms, bed linen and couches were clean. The kettle in one of the rooms was faulty and a small table in the other room was wobbly. Both were replaced immediately. We enjoyed the space we had with the connecting rooms. On the second day, we did not leave our rooms until past 10am. The housekeeping team came twice to check if we wanted our rooms cleaned. We asked them to return half an hour later to do the housekeeping. However, when we returned to the rooms in the evening, the rooms were not cleaned yet. After a call to the reception and a talk with a staff member who came to the room, the rooms were cleaned promptly after that. I think the rooms need an upgrade. The hotel still provides small bottles of shampoo, hair conditioner and bath soap whereas newer hotels have changed to refillable pump bottles for these toiletries. We noticed that some towels have blood and dirt stains on them. Overall, we had a comfortable stay at the hotel."

"Located in an alley behind Hatten Hotel with Bus/coach bay (1 way traffic direction). Parking is chargable. Nearby Shopping mall - Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. walking distance to Jonker Street. Room was spacious (living room, 2 bedrooms 2 toilets) comfortable beds (2 single & 1 queen size). Bathroom was clean. No Face / hand towel provided. TV reception was weak. the chair cushions were abit worn off and dust can been seen on beams of the table. Some wood lamination has peel off and chips near the window panel. The spread of the morning breakfast was plain and simple with 1 ”live” egg cooking section. hence did not opt or it."

The room was clean and well-kept, providing a nice space to rest after a day of sightseeing. They were friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever I needed assistance. Their warm attitude made the overall stay feel more welcoming. "I had a wonderful stay at Noble Resort Hotel Melaka, and it truly exceeded expectations. The Premier Executive services were exceptional — professional, attentive, and thoughtfully delivered, making the entire stay feel comfortable and well taken care of. The team was warm, efficient, and always ready to assist, which added a premium touch to the experience. The location is another major highlight. The hotel is conveniently situated near shopping malls, making it easy to access retail outlets, cafés, and daily necessities. There are also plenty of food options nearby, from local delights to well-known eateries, so finding great meals was effortless throughout the stay. Rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment to unwind after a full day out. "This is a very nice hotel! It is very new and hotel were very nice for my request of early check in and they upgraded my room! Very pleasant surprise and all the staff were very friendly with smile on them. It was a pity u only came for a night. The hotel location is very accessible, walkable distance to Jonker walk, recommend walking as the traffic lights I Melaka is too long and heavy traffic. Will definitely come back again!"

"A quiet hotel, away from town. Restful. I enjoyed the showervery much and had a good bath. But.. The toilet bad odour (especially from toilet bowl) is true as per reviews posted by many customers. I hope hotel can do something to get rid of the bad odour from the sewage. The air-conditioning sound is very loud is true as per reviews by many customers. Light sleepers may be affected."

The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, easily accommodating an extra bed or two, which is fantastic for families or groups traveling together. I appreciated the layout and comfort, allowing me to relax after a day of exploring. Additionally, the hotel's location is a significant advantage. It offers easy access to many of the city's attractions, and the convenience of using Grab for transportation made navigating the area a breeze. Overall, my stay at DoubleTree Melaka was a delightful experience, thanks to the attentive staff, comfortable accommodations, and great location. I look forward to returning in the future!"

SSyvianLStayed here for a night in November 25. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Each room comes with a nice bathtub, which is a plus. However, the amenities are quite limited — there’s only a very small pool and a compact gym. The pool is so small that you might not even feel like swimming. Location wise I think if you have a car, this might not be the main concern. It is about 1.1km walking distance from the Jonker street. As for the hotel breakfast, there’s definitely room for improvement. The choices are very limited, and the coffee served wasn’t tasty. Breakfast is not buffet-style but à la carte, with options like Big Breakfast, Portuguese-style baked eggs in tomato sauce, curry noodles, nasi lemak, pancakes with fruits, and roti canai. Each table is also served a fruit platter and a bread & pastry basket. Unfortunately, the breakfast quality was quite disappointing, and I would recommend having breakfast elsewhere instead. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, but in terms of value for money, it’s subjective — personally, I think they could offer more.

MMichelleaceI’ve visited Melaka for 1 day and stayed at the unit for the first time. It’s surprisingly excellent for its value with accessible to local amenities. The unit is clean and with all the required equipments needed. It’s located on high floors with balcony overlooking the straits of Melaka. Every now and then there’s a soothing scent in the room that refreshes the entire unit. The host provided an excellent details on getting to the property without worry. Will book it again for my next visit.

MMisafir KullanıcıBooked the suite and room was really big. Came with 2 queen beds and had a separate work area big enough for meals and activities 😅 Room was clean and look well maintained. No stains or whatsoever. Very pleasant stay. The hotel staff were helpful and prompt in service. We asked to clean up the room and left for breakfast immediately after. When we returned the room was all made up, neat and tidy. Breakfast was decent. Do note though, that the take-your-own-food buffet style became semi ala carte buffet because there were not enough guests while I was there. Still, it was good enough. Kids wanted to swim but the pool was a little too tiny for our liking. We did activities outside of the hotel though so not much of an issue. Location wise. If you want something right next to malls or in the heart of the jonker area, this is probably not your best choice. We take a 10 min walk to the jonker area and it was a comfortable stroll though. Quiet enough but not too near. Overall a good stay and very happy to return.

CCY_A very new hotel with very comfortable spacious rooms and is situated within the Portuguese settlement. My visit was during Christmas time so there were a lot of celebrations going on, adding to the atmosphere. The visitor before me used the fridge for durians, and I could not use the fridge throughout my stay due to the smell. The stamps were very polite to ask me about my visit however there were no immediate rectification or solutions provided. Maintenance will be an issue if not taken care of well.

SSHlim45Whenever I am in Melaka, I will check into Treasure Hotel! Feel at home with the friendly staff and very hospitable manager Ms Jasmine! Location is not in Jonker walk which is a plus - away from the hustle and buss of the old town area. Walking to the river side takes less than 10mins. Highly recommended if you drive - no traffic jams. Park your car at the hotel and walk anywhere stress free!

MMikemaranHoliday Inn is truly one of the nicer hotels around. The atmosphere and views were fantastic, and the friendly, service-oriented staff are definitely the hotel’s biggest asset. They don’t just handle bookings but also share helpful suggestions to make your stay more meaningful. I booked the hotel at the very last minute and checked in around 1:45 am. The receptionist who attended to me was very sweet and helpful. She even allowed a late checkout, though I checked out at 11:45 am to head back to Singapore early and avoid the traffic at the causeway. She also recommended great food options and interesting places nearby. Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

The location is excellent — just a short walk to Jonker Street and other main attractions, yet quiet enough for a relaxing night’s rest. The room was comfortable, with cozy beds, good air-conditioning, and all the essentials you’d expect from an international hotel brand. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with directions or local recommendations. Breakfast offered a good variety of both local and Western options, and the dining area was bright and pleasant. Parking was convenient, and Wi-Fi connection was stable throughout the stay. Overall, ibis Melaka delivers great value for money — perfect for both leisure and business travelers looking for a reliable, comfortable place to stay in the heart of Melaka. Highly recommended!

SShima OnnGreat affordable hotel in the city. Comfy beds, clean bathroom and quiet surroundings although right beside main road. Reception can get busy if coincide with bus loads of foreign tourists but staff was friendly and attentive. Not super close to touristy spots but if you have car, ample parking spots right in front of lobby which I like.

However, there are some concerns about security — there’s no access card required to use the lift, and the parking area is shared with the mall, making it easily accessible to the public. The lift service is very inefficient; although there are four lifts, only one seems to be operating at a time, leading to long wait times — it took us at least 30 minutes to get from the swimming pool back to our room. Additionally, the air conditioner wasn't cooling the room properly, which affected our comfort during the stay.

LLee Oi KengCleanliness and location is good, very near Jonker street. Cons are security wise needs improvement cos anyone can just walk in and especially in the early morning when we came down, the Indian guy was sleeping at the counter and I doubt he knows who went in and out. The room is very spacious but they should provide at leastt a small piece of soap for hand washing. When we arrived at the hotel at about 1pm, since the rooms are available, why can't they just let us check in instead of having to wait till 3pm ( we heard there were less than 10 rooms occupied that night). I was abit unlucky cos 1st room issued to us was a room under maintenance, 2nd room given to us only has a towel and 1 cup for 2 pax in the room and the toilet flushing system broke down in the middle of the night, phone out of order and I had to climb up and down the stairs numerous times to ask for things. No lifts in the hotel.
