The toilet is very clean and the view is superb! The most enjoyable is the bed! Omg! Feel like booking another night just to sleep all day long! Haha!! Not to mentioned the buffet breakfast is nice too! But a little bit too few choices. Looking forward to see more food in the menu. :) The pool is nice as well! Can’t wait for my next trip to malacca so I can stay here again! Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

From the moment I arrived, the friendly and courteous staff made me feel welcomed and valued. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced my experience. One of the delightful touches was the welcome amenities, featuring a freshly baked cookie that was simply delicious—a perfect treat after a long journey. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, easily accommodating an extra bed or two, which is fantastic for families or groups traveling together. I appreciated the layout and comfort, allowing me to relax after a day of exploring. Additionally, the hotel's location is a significant advantage. It offers easy access to many of the city's attractions, and the convenience of using Grab for transportation made navigating the area a breeze. Overall, my stay at DoubleTree Melaka was a delightful experience, thanks to the attentive staff, comfortable accommodations, and great location. I look forward to returning in the future!

Booked the suite and room was really big. Came with 2 queen beds and had a separate work area big enough for meals and activities 😅 Room was clean and look well maintained. No stains or whatsoever. Very pleasant stay. The hotel staff were helpful and prompt in service. We asked to clean up the room and left for breakfast immediately after. When we returned the room was all made up, neat and tidy. Breakfast was decent. Do note though, that the take-your-own-food buffet style became semi ala carte buffet because there were not enough guests while I was there. Still, it was good enough. Kids wanted to swim but the pool was a little too tiny for our liking. We did activities outside of the hotel though so not much of an issue. Location wise. If you want something right next to malls or in the heart of the jonker area, this is probably not your best choice. We take a 10 min walk to the jonker area and it was a comfortable stroll though. Quiet enough but not too near. Overall a good stay and very happy to return.

Reception staff is great allowed check in early, room request on higher floor and the staff really arrange for me thanks. Hotel tamara it's new and room are huge, deluxe room powerful aircond with amenities. Breakfast is basic but acceptable and hotel location is attached with the apartment so it's very safe. Recommend this hotel.

Tüm konaklamamız boyunca 3 gece 2 gün geçirdik. Konumu fena değil, Jonker Walk gece pazarına yürüyerek yaklaşık 10-15 dakika uzaklıkta. Otel, saat kulesine (Karşısında Jonker Walk olacak) her gün 22:00'ye kadar her 2 saatte bir ücretsiz servis sağlıyor ve otelle iletişim kurmamız gerekirse WhatsApp'tan konsiyerj hizmeti alabiliyoruz, bu çok iyi ve bize çok sayıda turistik bilgi sağlamakta çok yardımcı oluyorlar. Otel odasının büyüklüğü geniş. Sadece iç tasarıma göre biraz sıradan görünüyor. Sıcaklık geceleri uyurken rahat. Kahvaltı çok vasat ve ilk gün, 09:45 civarında kafeye gittik (10:30'da kapatıyorlardı). Her şey neredeyse bitmiş gibi görünüyordu ve personel yemeği yenilemedi. Sıcak yemek yeterince sıcak değildi, jambon gibi soğuk yemek ise sıcaklığın yenmesi için güvenli olduğundan emin olmak için buzun üzerine konulmamıştı. Ayrılışın son gününde, otel sabah 10 civarında inşaat çalışmalarına başladı (DELMEYE DEVAM EDİN), ancak asansörde asılı bir duyuru veya odaya konuğu bilgilendirmek için gönderilen bir mektup görmedim. Annem o gün hastalandığı için, operatörü arayıp delme saatini biraz geciktirmelerini, örneğin 1230'dan sonra delmelerini, en azından çoğu konuğun önce çıkış yapmasını istedim) ancak operatör ÇOK KABA davrandı ve saatin çoktan 1200 olduğunu (aslında saat 11 civarıydı ve henüz Çıkış saatine kadar değildi) ve bunu durdurmak için hiçbir şey yapamayacaklarını söyledi... berbat...

Older property and it’s starting to show. Lifts take forever during check out allow at least 20 minutes. Great view from the balcony but it can get noisy with kids swimming early. Bedding provided is minimal and bare frills stay. Location is good.

Son 5 günlük 4 gecelik konaklamam sırasında bir aile süiti ayırttım ve genel olarak keyifli bir deneyim yaşadım. Başlangıçta, sağlanan odada klimayla ilgili sorunlar vardı, ancak personel çok cana yakın ve yardımseverdi, bizi herhangi bir zorluk çıkarmadan hemen yeni bir odaya geçirmeyi kabul ettiler. Aile süiti geniş ve iyi döşenmişti, iki tek kişilik yatak, bir çift kişilik yatak ve hatta büyük bir kanepe vardı, bu da bir grup veya aile için konforlu hale getiriyordu. Banyo temizdi ve gerekli tüm olanaklar sağlanmıştı. Ücretsiz otoparkın bulunması da bir artıydı, arabayla seyahat edenler için uygun hale getiriyordu. Otelin konumu mükemmel, turistik yerlere ve yerel yemek alanlarına yakın, bu da bölgeyi keşfetmeyi kolaylaştırdı. Bu sefer kahvaltı büfesini denememiş olsam da, bir sonraki ziyaretimde deneyimlemeyi dört gözle beklediğim hoş bir dokunuş. Genel olarak, otel yardımsever personeli ve uygun konumuyla konforlu bir konaklama sunuyordu. Sorunsuz, aile dostu bir konaklama seçeneği arayan herkese burayı şiddetle tavsiye ederim.

Kami book with breakfast. Bilik sangat selesa dengan harga yg sangat berpatutan. Would love to extend our night, but we really have to go back. As for the buffet breakfast, the food was great. Comes with many choices. Our elders really enjoy the food. Next time dtg melaka, nak repeat lagi hotel ni!

Cleanliness and location is good, very near Jonker street. Cons are security wise needs improvement cos anyone can just walk in and especially in the early morning when we came down, the Indian guy was sleeping at the counter and I doubt he knows who went in and out. The room is very spacious but they should provide at leastt a small piece of soap for hand washing. When we arrived at the hotel at about 1pm, since the rooms are available, why can't they just let us check in instead of having to wait till 3pm ( we heard there were less than 10 rooms occupied that night). I was abit unlucky cos 1st room issued to us was a room under maintenance, 2nd room given to us only has a towel and 1 cup for 2 pax in the room and the toilet flushing system broke down in the middle of the night, phone out of order and I had to climb up and down the stairs numerous times to ask for things. No lifts in the hotel.
