"My family (wife and 3 kids) had a wonderful time here. We don’t speak mandarin, but the check-in work smoothly. We had not so good weather, so being in nice place like this was perfect. Our host gave us some great tips for sightseeing and things to do with the kids. Everything we needed was available and the kids were sad when we left. I would definitely come back!"

"- The location is a bit far from the ancient city. However, they have a pickup service to the train station.
- The room is big and very illuminated. The bed lining was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The floor has many stains, and looks old.
- There is no separation in the bathroom of the shower from the toilet bowl, and no carpet...
- The cleaning was questionable: there were many hairs in the bathroom!
- The staff is great, they don't speak English, but they do their best to help you with what you need."

"Me and two friends had a wonderful stay at this hotel—the rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. But the best part was the staff, especially the front desk team. Despite the language barrier, they were incredibly warm, patient, and went out of their way to assist us. Their kindness and professionalism truly stood out!
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for great service and a pleasant stay. Can’t wait to visit again!"

The hotel has suitable shades of colors and is unique, fully displaying the beauty of oriental design. Nanshe always adheres to the guest-oriented service concept, VIP access, and the thoughtfulness and thoughtfulness of the private butler are even more meticulous. "Lovely, new and clean property with spacious rooms. Excellent location within the ancient city, and the staff and manager go out of their way to provide inputs and suggestions for your trip. Breakfast is also fairly substantial. Room also has all the amenities you need for your trip. Overall great stay and recommend this to everyone with a Datong plan!"

"此次去大同遊玩選擇入住在古城附近的酒店，最終選擇了這家，他家有一個免費停車場，這點很方便住户，但是節日等黃金時間有可能會停滿，開車的朋友可以提前佔好位置。
我們在十一期間入住，房價提高了不少，這還得搶着預訂。
酒店的服務人員還是很熱情和積極的，我們對於服務還是挺滿意的，停車場開門的大爺比較嚴肅的，每次開門也還挺利落的。
我們此次選擇的是一個家庭房，有一個大床和一個小床，在房間裏可以直接看到古城以及古城裡的無人機表演等。房間裏的配置還算比較齊全的，此次我們住的總體挺舒服的。"

This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Datong hotel offers parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

MMisafir KullanıcıI can’t stop raving about this inn. It is a B&B style three stories tall inn located inside the Datong Ancient City. Complimentary shuttle service between the airport or railway station made it really convenient for out of town travelers. The guest room was clean and equipped with modern facilities like automatic toilets, coded entry, projection screens, etc. The inn is located near the north gate of the city amongst other accommodations. Within minutes of walking is access to the top of the city wall where bike rental is available to ride along the wall. The inn is very quiet at night. The inn is family operated and everyone was very hospitable. What sets this inn apart from other accommodations in the area is their dedication to service. The owner knew I was a tourist and new to the area, she offered to pick me up if I got lost wandering the ancient city. The breakfast came with my reservation. When the owner found out I had to depart before breakfast serving hours, she went above and beyond to prepare food and served me 30 minutes ahead of schedule. The food tasted amazing and came with abundant varieties and huge portions. It was definitely not part of the service to drop off at another venue, but the owner took me to my next accommodation 2km away. I truly appreciate everything this inn and its staff has done for me. I am so glad to have chosen to stay this beautiful little inn on my first night in Datong. I will definitely stay here again without a doubt on my next visit.

MMisafir KullanıcıI went with my sister. To a place that is remote and strange to us. We did not expect much but we received lots of warm memories. From the airport pick up to arriving. They offered afternoon tea once we arrived hotel as it was very cold. We were taken care of well. The following days were nice breakfast, warm regards, constant reminders to wear more as it is cold. When the food rider could not find the hotel, the boss went out to find the food rider, asking me to stay back as it is cold outside. The constant reminders felt home and warmth, genuinely care for their guests. Amazing and soul enriching trip at this place. They offered more than they advertised - depending on the situations, which is beyond my expectation. Finally they sent us off to the railway station, this is not in the package but they only said they had the car, they can bring us there, like family sending off their guests. Find a place like this, rest for a few days, the world feels warmer, the soul feels grateful.

MMisafir Kullanıcınew homestay around datong old city, great location if you want to stroll around datong old city, they do provide a pick up and drop off service from stations. their owner was very warm and kind and gave really great informations. room was fairly big for the three of us and breakfast taste great. definitely coming back here when i visit datong again.

*The place is close to the scenic spot (few minutes by car).
*The breakfast is not too bad. Few choices but it will fill you up.No drinks (juice or coffee).
*The accomodation was nice to drop and pick us up at the scenic area.They dropped us off to the bus station going to Datong city.
*Problem was the bad odour coming from the toilet. We think it’s from the drainage. We can’t even open the door for few minutes for air to come in because it is freezing. It’s negative degrees.
*The room was nice and comfortable. I can’t find photos or video of the interior. The size of the room is perfect. It has a long bench.Table with 1 small chair.Tv, closet, slippers,toothbrush, hair dryer,kettle and 2 bottle of water.

RRodney SungWe arrived quite late but owner still up waiting for us. The room was very well maintained. It has refreshments and the location is superb. The downside is that the room has a lurking smoke smell which we are unsure where it came from as our room is standalone and the air con is an individual unit and not the central aircon.

The breakfast was only Chinese style but different every day. Coffee could be taken from their coffee corner. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

MMisafir KullanıcıCab fare from Hunyuan bus station to hotel is RMB10(fixed price),from hotel to Hengshan and Xuankong temple is RMB20 and 15 respectively. Hotel staff provided great service and advice, helping with the laundry washing and gave us aloe Vera gel for moisturising. They also helped us to confirm the bus trip from Hunyuan to Wutaishan by calling and contacting the bus station staff to ensure we will not be cheated. There's a shopping centre opposite which sells apparel and shoes at wholesale price. Lots of food options nearby too

MMisafir KullanıcıThis hotel is really really beautiful - maybe even more than the photos show. Even though the style is traditional, everything inside the room is new, and there's even an elevator to take up bags. The location is amazing too, inside the old city wall, and I walked everywhere except the out of town attractions I visited. I think anywhere you stay in Datong you might have some communication challenges if you don't speak Chinese, but the owner here was very helpful once I put wechat on my phone to be able to talk with translation help, and he was able to arrange a last minute taxi out to the hanging temple after I had given up trying to get one. However, even though he was very helpful, he wasn't always around, and checking in was a bit difficult because there was nobody at the desk. I think this is only a problem if you don't speak Chinese though.
Unfortunately, the wifi didn't always reach to my room on the 3rd floor well, and I could only get a trickle of hot water out of the shower. Overall though, I was super happy with this place and would recommend it!

MMisafir KullanıcıAjummah at the front desk is very accommodating. I arrived at 6:30am and they were able to provide me a room at 8am. Very close to the railway station. The downside is room smells tobacco. The common bathroom is extremely dirty and smells like urine. There were even poop left is there without flashing down. I had to go up to the 3rd floor and use the bathroom there instead of the one in our floor.
No towels, toiletries, slippers, hair dryer. If you just need a day to rest that is near the railways station, you can book this, otherwise look for other hotels in the area.
