Our stay at Zhouzhuang Zen Yili was absolutely wonderful—a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and convenience! Taxi can dropped us off within 1 minute walking distance away from Zen Yili. Zhouzhuang ancient village entrance is just a few minutes walk from Zen Yili making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and activities. The peaceful surroundings of the homestay also added to the relaxing vibe. The hosts, both husband and wife were exceptionally kind and gave us great local tips. They provided us more than enough fresh fruits, tea, biscuits and mineral water. I was surprised also that the room was with full mosquitoes nettings with even anti mosquitoes device provided if needed. During our stay the homestay and its surroundings ware without mosquitoes. The room was spotless, with fresh linens and a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom was of five star standard for its fittings, and was very well-maintained. Before we checked out, we were given delicious homemade biscuits out of their hospitality. They also arranged for us a reliable and comfortable pickup after checked out. For the price, this homestay offered excellent value. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to couples, families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat in Zhouzhuang ancient village.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the dock. The hotel includes breakfast and can provide lunch and dinner. All dishes are made from local production. The dishes are good. The host and the staff are all very accommodating and try their best to help and are always available. The hotel was fully refurbished when we came. It was clean, well furnished and well maintained. The cost appeared reasonable even during the national holiday. We chose a room with a balcony. The terrasse adds a lot of convenience and is really enjoyable. We used it often. We did spend a pleasant time there. An important reminder comes as the hotel is close, maybe one of the closest to the dock. Therefore the activity around the hotel is intense, starts early and finishes late. This can affect light sleepers and is reinforced by the fact that the island is a heaven of silence. The island is perfect to reconnect to the nature, the slowness of life. We did appreciate our time walking around the island, visiting every small street and enjoying the pleasant view. People are very nice, organisation in the island is good and provides all the necessities. A good place for one or few days stay with or without children.

I really enjoyed my time at Mulan! The location couldn’t be better, it’s literally steps from the scenic area entrance and ticket office. The staff were so kind and made us feel welcome. The room was quiet and comfortable, with no noise during the night. Little touches like the really nice conditioner (seriously, it was great!) made it feel extra special. If you’re visiting Zhouzhuang, I’d totally recommend staying here.

The hotel owner is very friendly, beautiful room. Good location but not suitable for travelers with big luggage because small and rough alley, bridges and stairs. The hotel owner’s cats are beautiful. The hotel owner recommended us a very very very good driver from the hotel to train station, he offered us an extremely good services and price, that’s why we paid him 2 times the price he offered.

This is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. We lived in a separate house. It's quiet and cozy there. The air conditioner works well for heating. The hostess is very friendly and kind. When we got lost during check-in, she herself came for us. Also thanks to the man who helped us when leaving the hotel. Comfortable bathroom, good beds, spacious room. I highly recommend it!

Location was not accurate, the hotel was inaccessible to cars and you need to lug your baggage 200-300 meters away. Drivers frequently got lost and stopped on another road instead. Hotel was abundant with stagnant water causing high mosquito activity. Our rooms were also on the lower level which had small floodings when we returned. Staff service was good.

It was such a cute hotel. I lived the little entrance quite traditional Chinese little garden. The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was so big, we even had a whole terasse for ourselves with a little bamboo garden. Also location is very convenient and pretty with a lot of restaurants and café. I would definitely go back here when I am back in Suzhou.

the room looks nice at first glance but it was actually not that clean. the bathroom was terrible, no footmat and the curtain wasn’t long enough so when u shower, water spilled all over the place make the bathroom so grossed. however, my friend arrived first in the morning and the lady was nice enough to have her do the early check-in.
