The toilet is very clean and the view is superb! The most enjoyable is the bed! Omg! Feel like booking another night just to sleep all day long! Haha!! Not to mentioned the buffet breakfast is nice too! But a little bit too few choices. Looking forward to see more food in the menu. :) The pool is nice as well! Can’t wait for my next trip to malacca so I can stay here again! Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

I extended my stay for one night and both my parents and my room key card kept deactivating for several times. Imagine you need to walk all the way to the lift, realised the card is not working, then walk back to the reception to keep validating your room card. I've went to the reception the night before original check out to inform the staff. And furthermore when I am out sightseeing during the day, someone called me to confirm I am extending my stay, yet the card still kept deactivating. Housekeeping is also not done when we returned to the room at 3.30pm. We need to request them to come and it delayed our shower and our subsequent plans. Not only that, they took away the toilet mat and did not replace it and we need to call housekeeping again and wait for it to be replaced before we can take a shower. There is also a leak in the bathroom so the entire housekeeping and pipe fixing took really long. The cleaning of the pool is also done in the morning at 8.30am after it is opened, while the pool closes at 8pm at night. All the staff are nice and trying their best, but it looks like they are understaffed and could not perform their required duties as housekeeping is not done in time and the pool is cleaned during opening times. For the price charged and their rating as a 5 star hotel, the amenities and service just doesn't match. I would not recommend.

Fast booking. Fast reply. Nice location and good swimming pool. However, the furniture at the home is not so good, the bed is not comfortable at all. After one night our back not comfy. The table is shaking and it broke after we put water bottle. Luckily no one is hurt. And the clothes hanger is also like dropping out soon. Hope management can upgrade the furniture.

Rooms are generally large, clean and comfortable with good bed quality. Slightly dated look and amenities. TV and a few facilities could be improved

Our stay was outstanding. The hotel itself is new, with cleanliness maintained to the highest standard. Room is spacious and comfortable. Its location is ideal for exploration, being only a 10-minute drive to Jonker Street and within easy reach of many renowned local restaurants. A special commendation goes to Mr. Zane, En. Fizzy, En. Fadzli, chef Hanis and the whole team, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

It’s a spontaneous trip that we booked the room before we check google reviews. Yet we are aware of the different way of check in. Apparently it’s under awanjiwa management of the *air-bnb* style of room which is the same hotel as The pines. First, If there is choice i may direct book frm the pines , we tried once under the shore & the swiss garden same thing yet also unforgettable trip 😅 I would say hotel charge the prices will assure give the best services maybe . We consider lucky that awanjiwa person in charge is nice and responsible. We got some hicups on the check in and got settle to change another room as u can see frm photos the disaster of the first room we got i told the PIC only the bed and the sink is clean others is all dusty 😵💫 We got changed to another better condition rooms also with some stain on the table n cupboard so i had to clean myself before place anything in. Its not that bad tho, but i would say im not an airbnb guest . 😅 and its feel really weird when u stay in hotel but its like so weird u cant park in the same unit and u just dont feel u are away for a trip as the place u check in like ur neighbor home kind of feel .

Hotel clean and fast check in and out, good point free parking and lift wit touch card good to security Suggest hotel improve wifi speed because very slow, also suggest hotel add tv channel at least wit also 8tv and NTV7, 9TV etc , i also suggest your toilet shower door do a handhold otherwise donno how to open the door after shower Will stay again as hotel clean and good

Shower head water pressure too strong, cannot be adjusted. Housekeeping early morning 9am starting to knock the door twice for make up room until I put do not disturb sign. 24 hours receptionist never answer the call, need to take 1 hour to deliver water and towel for me. Overall, the stay experience was not very good. The room was spacious but felt empty. The price was reasonable and offered value for money, but I would not choose to stay here again. This was a last minute booking. The view from balcony is nice!

View from the 25th floor is beautiful. Be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes for the lifts though. This block seems to serve mainly visitors, and we waited more than 30 minutes for a lift to bring us down as its fully packed during check out time between 11am to 12pm. Ended up walking down the stairs from 25th floor, and we were faster than the lift while lugging along 2 luggages.
