I was shocked of how cheap we got the room yet very nice hotel. The place is clean and close to metro too which is very convenient. This will be my go-to hotel if I go back to Taichung! Awesome ☺️

Resepsiyon personeli her zaman konukları karşılamaya istekli ve hevesli, örneğin metro ve yüksek hızlı trenlerle seyahat hakkında soruları yanıtlamak gibi ellerinden gelenin en iyisini yapıyorlar El yıkama sabunu, kulaklık, çay, kahve yapma ve sıcak su gibi temel ihtiyaçlar lobi alanında mevcut. Genel olarak, burada geçirdiğim 4 gecelik konaklamam paraya değer bir durum Metroya yürüme mesafesi 500 metreden az.

The new front-desk guy was really kind and supportive. Unlike other female worker or his in-charge manager, he tried all his best to help us solve the problem that we encountered Room was clean but we got bitten by mosquitos…

Twinstar is very near Taichung TRA Station. Buses are also nearby. Malls and Shopping area is also nearby. I felt shortchanged when the photos show the veiw of the Taichung Station and a City View but received a room with wall of the Taroko Mall. The breakfast hall and rooms are a bit underwhelminh in terms of aesthetics, the cleanliness may also be questionable but their staff are friendly and attentive. I find the suppprt staff always available.

A 5 star hotel that deserves its rating. Rooms are comparable with Sheraton/Hilton etc... it's a well-oiled machine and everyone was efficient and kind. Shout out to my namesake SEAN in the Prime restaurant on the roof who took care of us with a memorable Christmas dinner. One for any short list in Taichung.

It is my third or fourth time staying in this hotel. The room is very spacious and comfortable. This is the tallest building in town and should be the most luxurious hotel there. It is right next to the Tainan Rail Station and is super convenient. Staff service is great. There aren’t much changes since I last stayed here in 2014. Nonetheless it is a place worth staying in Tainan.

Overall our stay was great! This was our first time in Taiwan Kenting, we were looking for somewhere easy to go from Macau with nice holiday beach feel.  We used to go to Thailand but we wanted a change this time. Location wise it’s very convenient 2 mins walk to the night market where you have tons of food options, street stalls or restaurants wise. You have couples of 7 elevens, family mart, watsons all you need in case you forget to pack something.  There’s bus station “xiaowan” very convenient for sightseeing if you don’t rent a car. Pretty on time and big coaches very comfortable with AC. In terms of amenities, we thought the hotel could have more beach amenities, beach bar or restaurants would add a huge value for the hotel. Many families would stay all day by the beach if they have bar/restaurant. It was a shame its was closed… Also the sun lounges could be a bit more comfortable simply just add a thin cushions on top. And again would be great to have a bar for quick bite by the pool. Our room was the ground floor ones with Jacuzzi, it was a lovely touch since they don’t have bathtub in the bathroom. The little garden is a great touch for morning meditation. :) We also did a nighttime activity with the hotel by the beach to hunt crabs. It was a great activity and the staff did a great job explaining and helping out. Food wise, we had breakfast buffet in all 5 days, it was a big selection of food but not much variety. We had a lunch by lobby bar… but was not up to our taste unfortunately. There is much better options outside or hotel. Oh and they did a little decoration since it was my bday and offered a cheesecake to the room by a robot :). All in all it was a great experience hopefully they will step up the pool and beach area.

For a budget hotel this hotel is a good deal. Although the room is very small (quite a struggle to fit a medium or large size luggage), it’s clean, with a good temperature control and a good firm bed with comfortable blanket (pillow is a bit on the soft side, and only 1 pillow supplied). The breakfast meal is just alright (asian/chinese style breakfast with soup, egg dish, cooked vegetables and stir-fry meat, no fruits, yogurt or salad). The location is amazing, short walk to Taichung station, bus stops and very close to 7-11, supermarkets and Taroko Mall. The hotel doesn’t provide too many amenities (slippers available from the lobby, other amenities are available for purchase from the lobby, kettle and cups are available, 2 water bottles are provided daily). Overall this hotel provides an adequate lodging in a convenient location.

Nice breakfast seating area for business meeting Its located in another big building so the elevator is quite packed, but other than this, its a great place to stay.

We had an excellent stay! The family room (triple) was spacious and comfortable, perfect for traveling with kids. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay, and the breakfast spread was generous with a great variety of options. The body lotion smells so good , we bought one back (cost 1000 TWD) for own use, available at front desk . Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for families!
