It is very close to JR Niigata station. The staff handled check-in with hospitality. The facilities were maintained well with neatness and cleanliness. Although I booked the smallest room, the room still has enough space for opening the luggage fully.

We recently stayed at Hotel Okura in Niigata and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the Shinano River, providing stunning views, especially during sunset. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the JR Niigata Train Station and Niigata Airport, making it a great base for exploring the area. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed the variety of dining options available at the hotel, including a French restaurant and a Japanese restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We appreciated their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any requests we had. Overall, Hotel Okura Niigata offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Niigata.

Art hotel in Niigata is great. A very accessible location in many restaurants around especially the main station of Niigata. The hotel is clean and they have a very welcoming staff. We stayed there for one night only but we will definitely stay again.

Great location, within 5mins walking distance from Niigata station. There are nearby convenience stores. The place also seemed to be recently renovated and is well maintained. Staff service was good. affordable breakfast buffet option is also available. The food was very good, the locally sourced rice is excellent.

good stay overall. Located near both to the Niggata station and Bandai bridge, it is a standard Japanese business hotel. It's a bit worn down, especially the room carpets and walls. Also sone amenities like coffee or tea are not available in your room, need to go down to the 2nd floor. Not practical. They also operate a no-clean policy during your stay, they just hand your towels on your door.

Wonderful stay. Breakfast was good. Plenty of different drinks like smoothies, coffee/tea and milk. Service from the gentleman handling international guests was welcoming, helpful and friendly. However I do find the staff at the check in counters very stern looking who do not smile and are generally unfriendly .

Can’t beat the location, it’s right next to 7-11 and the sake museum, and directly accessible from the JR station. The breakfast is fabulous and generous. Love it.

車で宿泊しました。立地について、新潟駅までは徒歩25分程度と距離ありましたが万代バスセンター周辺や西堀エリアには徒歩10分程度と新潟市内を万遍なく回ったため車の止め易さも考慮し適度な立地と思いました。建物は少し古いんでしょうが清潔で設備面十分で接客も良かったのでとても満足出来ました。

İstasyondan Sado Kisen bilet gişesinden çıkın ve ”Havaalanı Hattı” işaretli çıkışı kullanın (dikey yürüyen merdiven veya merdiven; tekerlekli sandalye kullanıyorsanız aşağıdaki sol ve sağ yönlere bakın). Zemin kata inin. Solunuzda büyük bir market, sağınızda ise 18 numaralı otobüs durağı (Niigata Airport Express ve Niigata City Loop Express için) bulunmaktadır. Caddeyi geçin ve yaklaşık 100 metre boyunca (bir sonraki ışıkta) ilerleyerek (Juraku Stay Niigata'nın karşısında) varış noktanıza ulaşın. Oda, Çin'deki tipik otel odalarıyla karşılaştırılabilir büyüklükte, 20 metrekarenin üzerindeydi. İki adet çift kişilik yatak, bir çift kanepe, yuvarlak bir sehpa, bir masa ve sandalye, küçük bir tuvalet masası ve aynası vardı ve iki bavul boşaltılmış olmasına rağmen oda sıkışık hissettirmeden ferah hissettiriyordu. Yatak çok rahattı. Odada şişe su yoktu (lobi resepsiyonundan istemeniz gerekiyordu). Otelin dekorasyonu 1990'lar tarzındaydı ve hâlâ anahtar kartları kullanılıyordu. Odadaki priz eksikliğini telafi etmek için komodinin üzerine dörtlü priz (Japon tarzı, iki delikli) yerleştirilmişti. Klima düğmesi komodinin üzerindeydi ve sıcaklık kontrolü kapının yanındaki duvardaydı. Diş fırçaları, taraklar, tıraş bıçakları, yüz maskeleri vb. birinci kat lobisinde self-servis olarak mevcuttu. Otelin kendi otoparkı vardır ve resepsiyon personeli check-in sırasında park etmek isteyip istemediğinizi soracaktır. Yakınlarda çok sayıda restoran ve mağaza bulunması, yemek yemeyi oldukça kolaylaştırıyor. Japonya'daki çoğu küçük şehirde olduğu gibi, tren istasyonu aynı zamanda küçük bir ticaret merkezi olarak da hizmet veriyor. Niigata İstasyonu'ndan çıkar çıkmaz, çok çeşitli Niigata spesiyaliteleri ve alkol satan Cocolo Gıda Mağazası'nı göreceksiniz. Yakınlarda optik mağazaları, eczaneler, MUJI ve Big Camera gümrüksüz satış mağazası bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca yakınlarda bir Don Kişot da bulunmaktadır. Yemek ve alışveriş için uygundur. Otelin kahvaltısı standarttı; Japon ve Batı seçeneklerinin bir karışımıydı. Lezzetli olsa da menü her gün aynıydı.

The hotel is a short walk from the train station. It was quite a walk to the sightseeing spots so we had to go to the station to catch a loop bus. The hotel was clean and has nice onsen. It's convenient that Dormy Inn provides drinks or even noodles and icecreams. The rooms are not big though.
