"Best stay with this hotel. But bad experience booked with trip.com. As we arrived for check in there was a problem, receptionist said they dont receive our booking from trip.com. After 15mins later, they found out my booking under *******. They offered me for other room because my room curently full. A bit happy because they offer for 2single beds extra n room upgrade for free. I really love the room. Very spacious. On 2nd day we got our room as we booked before. Anyway i really happy with this hotel. Thankyou."

"Always a pleasure to return to Favehotel. This time I came with my family and took 4 rooms. Love the spacious room and it is the main reason why I kept returning to Favehotel. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Bedsheets and towels are always crisps and fluffy. Room water pressure is very good. If water drainage at the sink and shower could be work on then the rooms are perfect
Ferdi @reception was excellent in arranging our 4 rooms in a row including a set of connecting rooms. This help me tremendously in assisting my elderly family members.
Another reason i chose the Favehotel is the surrounding compound. The streets and pavements are well developed and clean. Great for elderly individuals whom otherwise may trip over debris due to uneven terrain once you step outside the hotel like most other hotels in Batam
Thamrin City development are the best! Hope they continue to maintain the cleanliness and in doing so attracts more to stay in this premise!"

"There is a nightclub right beside the hotel to my amazement. Other than this, there's swimming pool, gym and restaurants in the hotel. Rooms are rather old so don't expect it to be in tip top condition, oh and there was small croach crawling out of the toilet loll👀 but interesting outer view nonetheless"

The room was large, everything you need, complimentary drinks and snacks etc. The room is dated but good value. Excellent staff.
Cons:
No plug sockets accessible by the bed. Please note the sockets in the room are Singapore 3 pin plug sockets.
Very, very noisy all day and night from passing traffic, loud motorbikes and engine noises if your room is road facing.
Luke warm breakfast, can't be particularly healthy."

All of the staff are extremely helpful.
The cleaners are excellent.
The pool view is lovely.
The room is good, the bed is big and very comfortable.
The hairdresser is absolutely amazing.
Gym is very good - lots of variety of exercises.
Bad points
Food is not good: ordered vegetarian stir fry and specifically stated no chicken as allergic; it arrived with chicken underneath the vegetables! Husband ordered battered prawns which came unpeeled, then battered, so totally inedible.
Wouldn’t let me put the drinks on the room (even though they did it a few days earlier), then refused to let me leave until the bill was paid. I had no money with me. So had to wait until they managed to contact my husband to come and pay.
Spa - the facial was the most painful experience I’ve had in a spa. My face was literally pulled and scrubbed within an inch of its life. The actual face mask was scrubbed off. My face looked 10 years older rather than younger.
Depends where your room is, depends if you hear the 5 o’clock Mosque calling.
The gym was like a sauna - too hot to do any real cardio work - but that’s my personal preference.

EEng LeongIf you are looking for a short getaway, then this is the ideal place. We chose the package that included 3 meals by Westin and I must say it is the best choice ever made! Since the island is small and developing, there is very little choice for food, so getting the package to have your meals settled by the hotel pretty much eliminates your worry about having to find food. There are many activities organized by the hotel, ranging from fitness classes to arts and crafts. There is a 24h gym, spa services and a pool that closes at 10, but you can still chill by the poolside restaurant for your drinks and food with a great view.
The service here is exceptional, as I am greeted with a mini decoration and a birthday cake upon arrival. Prior to my departure, they also sent some complimentary dessert to our room - there has never been a time I felt hungry in their hands! The staffs here really go out of their way to ensure that your needs are met.
Hopefully they will be able to add a recreational room/area that could ideally include maybe pool tables or foos ball~
Overall still highly recommend to stay if you want to rest and relax!

Pool and gym just nearby, convenient for parents to workout while kids having good time in the pool. Last day after breakfast we spent time playing pool just outside the breakfast area. Children enjoyed it.
Staff is helpful and polite.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and many come with balcony views facing the sea or the pool. Perfect for families with kids who need space to move around. Housekeeping was quick and helpful throughout our stay.

CCheeWH79Had a wonderful relaxing stay at Montigo. The villas are spacious and well kept. Privte pool is clean with water jet nozzles enhancing swimming experience. The highlight would be the scenic seaview. There are sufficient amenities and activities to enjoy like ATV, jet ski and various water sports. There are 5 restaurants to choose for daily meals. The Nasi Ayam Berrmpah I had for dinner at Warung was excellent. Tiiigo is a nice poolside bar to chill and chat the night away. Breakfast was average. I like the freshly made pratas. The staffs are courteous and helpful. Only downside is there no actual beach here. Only a jetty waterfront.

DDr. ErikI loved Batam View so much! I'll be honest, I wanted to stay at Turi Resort, where I normally stay, but they were fully booked. So I tried Batam View, and I was flabbergasted. I had a room in the main building with sea view, and it was stunning. The rooms have been renovated and are clean, modern, comfortable. The hotel's beach and pool are both amazing, and I was so happy to find a really deep pool (rare in Asia), plus a very clean beach. I had an unforgettable dinner at the beach, too. The staff are universally lovely, attentive and professional! I saw the villas and definitely want to stay there next time! I spent a lovely 6 nights there and cannot wait to return!

AAnonim KullanıcıIHG. Holiday Inn. It seems like this hotel at Batam has been neglected. Many of the amenities are lacking in maintenance. The pool, gym, kids club.....the list goes on. Staff are excellent. But why has the hotel not kept up with maintaining it well when it's such a popular hotel. Covid took havoc world wide. But many hotels have bounced back and are welcoming guests with renewed hope. Hotels needs to constantly upgrade so that guests want to keep coming back.
Slippery walkways, itchy body after sleeping on the bed and toilets that lack are some of the features at Holiday Inn Batam.
Time to see how you can improve your rating. Its a great hotel if you improve on the upkeep.
Never too late to start. Looking forward to coming back in 2026 if there are improvements.

MMisafir KullanıcıStayed the the resort for 4 days, the staff were super friendly and helpful. On the last day they granted us an extra one hour to check out. The massages offered were phenomenal, would definitely come back again for those. However, the hotel might be slightly run down in some places. The amenities looked good but the swimming pool water pumps were not on causing the temperature to be very centralised in some areas and a lot of debris to build up. Moreover, the hotel location was not very suited for my family as we had initially wanted to go to the different beaches. We ended up taking a 40 minute taxi to different places everyday, once even going to the other Harris hotel in Barelang. Overall, the staff was amazing but the other aspects were average. Would recommend this hotel for people who are just looking for an escape from busy life and planning to stay in the hotel.
