Breakfast is ok for the price paid, don't expect too high.Swimming pool under maintenance, can't use. Overall satisfactory for a budget stay."

The hotel's location is simply outstanding—situated right next to the Batam Center Ferry Terminal, it’s incredibly convenient for travelers, especially those arriving from Singapore. I appreciated how easy it was to check in and head directly to my room without any hassle. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent sea view from my room. Waking up to the sight of the water was refreshing and set a lovely tone for each day. Additionally, being directly opposite Mega Mall was a delightful bonus. With a plethora of dining and shopping options just a short walk away, I had plenty to explore, from local eateries to international food chains. The international breakfast spread at the hotel was impressive, featuring a wide array of dishes including delicious local Indonesian options as well as familiar Western choices. Whether it was the mouthwatering nasi goreng or the variety of fresh fruits available, I loved starting my day with such a hearty meal. I also want to commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and attentiveness. I requested a non-smoking, quiet room upon check-in, and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their warm service certainly enhanced the experience. While my room was slightly dated, it was generally clean, and the comfortable bed made for restful nights. The slight age of the furnishings didn’t detract from my overall satisfaction with the stay. In summary, Harris Hotel Batam strikes a perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and hospitality. The strategic location, scenic views, excellent breakfast, and responsive staff make it a solid choice for anyone visiting Batam. "First time to Batam, hotel location is next to the mall which you may get what you need from mall and shops nearby. The hotel breakfast had variations choice and good. Overall the experience staying in this hotel was great. There is a swimming pool at Level 2 and and massage center inside hotel with reasonable price. If you are coming over follow those youtuber and online recommendations, you are a bit remote and need to go by car. This place may be good for business traveller but for backpacker or light traveller, you may choose to stay near the attractions where you can reach within walking distance."

"Previously i am staying at level 10 but without balcony, surprisingly this trip i am staying at level 8 which having balcony. Location are extremely good, going for massaging, looking for food, going for shopping all are walking distance, hotel price are reasonable. Morning breakfast do not have much choices, Taste are just nice, will introduced to my friends and I will come back again."

"Best stay with this hotel. But bad experience booked with trip.com. As we arrived for check in there was a problem, receptionist said they dont receive our booking from trip.com. After 15mins later, they found out my booking under *******. They offered me for other room because my room curently full. A bit happy because they offer for 2single beds extra n room upgrade for free. I really love the room. Very spacious. On 2nd day we got our room as we booked before. Anyway i really happy with this hotel. Thankyou."

"This is a first time I’m staying here, perfect location as for family can walk to the one Batam mall and opp there’s a lotus supermarket.  Pool and gym just nearby, convenient for parents to workout while kids having good time in the pool. "Overall is really a beautiful plc to rest and get away from the busy city life. I would like to suggest more drinking water provided to guests (either provide a water dispenser or additional water given). Per room per day is only given 2 small bottles of mineral water. Believe me, in our climate it is really insufficient. I felt so dehydrated. The drinks I can order from the restaurant are sweetened drinks. So that was really a drawback for me. They have a shop but they do not sell any mineral water. Breakfast is quite sad too.. I was expecting a bit more options for this location since it is secluded frm other eateries. Room service food was much better than the breakfast provided so I'm not sure why such a big difference in quality and taste. Communications in the hotel can be better too. I had informed reception 4 hours before check out for use of a buggy as our unit is very far. Nobody came for us. They called to remind us to check out and I told them yes, we are waiting for the buggy we requested. Subsequently I had to call another 3 times before someone came and the person was also very rude."

"Quite a cosy hotel with toiletries like toothbrush kits are provided. There's a connecting room. Aircon & wifi is ok. A good location, close to Nagoya Hill, abt 2-5 min drive. Didn't try to walk there because of the main road which makes it hard to walk around. There is a couple of laundry marts near the hotel, abt 4 min walk. There is Indomaret & Alfamart convenience store, just outside the hotel, abt 2 min walk. Can smell the cigarette smoke smell outside the room. Breakfast is ok, with local spread. Can request for omelette from the waiter."
