"At first, we were impressed by its simple, modern, stylish design and sparkling cleanliness. The room was spacious and had a partial sea view. However, during our 3D2N stay, the swimming pool remained closed due to strong winds. The weather was nice enough for a swim, so it was quite a misfortune. This should have been stated in their advertisements to let customers know that although the hotel has a pool, it is almost never open. The location is opposite the mall, but it’s dangerous for families with strollers or young children to cross the road."

"Very good location. Just stone’s throw from the hotel are the 60s tradition wet market, shops and malls to the new modern big malls. Big bright lobby with seats. Reasonable range and quality of food provided for breakfast buffet . Will be good if they provide the breakfast buffet as an option. Gave only 3 stars for cleanliness because we were given a smoking room even when we have booked a non-smoking room. The room has a weird smell even after they said they have cleaned it. They claimed all rooms were fully booked so can’t change. The hangers are those types that cannot be taken out and they were really built for tall people. Short people have difficulty hanging their clothes and if they are old, is “mission impossible”for them. No stools in the room to ease the challenge. The body soap and shampoo dispensers were difficult to press and only has very miserable drop being dispensed each time. Quality of the shampoo + conditioner (stated on the dispenser) is not good for female hair especially if is long."

"Harris Nagoya is a new hotel in Batam. It is situated next to Nagoya Hill mall, placed within a cluster of other hotels with bustling food and amenities all around. The hotel is modern and impeccably spotless. The staff are warm and friendly. Breakfast service is fast, efficient and offers a decent variety of delicious food, pastries, fruits etc. The only thing I would highlight is that the gym is not in the building itself and is not yet open. However, that didn’t dampen my experience at all. All in all, a 5/5 experience"

Contemporary room design but poor housekeeping; towels and slippers were not replaced, and I returned to find no towels on the rack. Breakfast spread is extensive, featuring live egg and noodle stations. Overall, much needed improvement on housekeeping."

"There is a nightclub right beside the hotel to my amazement. Other than this, there's swimming pool, gym and restaurants in the hotel. Rooms are rather old so don't expect it to be in tip top condition, oh and there was small croach crawling out of the toilet loll👀 but interesting outer view nonetheless"

"First time stay in Swiss belhotel harbour bay… Good hotel near by harbour bay ferry terminal..just walk about 10 minutes and the services is really awesome from the guest officer until the restaurant staff really excellent , especially Maya she always check on us about anything that make us comfortable to stay and she make birthday surprise that make us feel special and the restaurant staff Anabil (if not wrong the name 😊)he also very good But mostly all the staff in the hotel very good and friendly and the breakfast also good.. Is really recommended to stay there"

"Always a pleasure to return to Favehotel. This time I came with my family and took 4 rooms. Love the spacious room and it is the main reason why I kept returning to Favehotel. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Bedsheets and towels are always crisps and fluffy. Room water pressure is very good. If water drainage at the sink and shower could be work on then the rooms are perfect Ferdi @reception was excellent in arranging our 4 rooms in a row including a set of connecting rooms. This help me tremendously in assisting my elderly family members. Another reason i chose the Favehotel is the surrounding compound. The streets and pavements are well developed and clean. Great for elderly individuals whom otherwise may trip over debris due to uneven terrain once you step outside the hotel like most other hotels in Batam Thamrin City development are the best! Hope they continue to maintain the cleanliness and in doing so attracts more to stay in this premise!"

"This is our second time staying in Oakwood in 2025. We return for the 2nd time mainly because of its superb location (just next to Batam Grand Mall), lots of Spas nearby and because its a very nice hotel with excellent customer service. It is very popular with both local n foreign tourists. So, due to this, book early. You probably wont be able to get early check-in due to high volume of guests. We stayed in the standard room n studio premier. Studio premier is slightly bigger with a kitchen cabinet, fridge, hob n hood, sink, utensils. But the room tend to be warm in the day as the room windows are facing east. Very comfy bed n pillows. Lots of TV chanels and you can login to ur netflix acct. Inroom dining is better than their buffet bfast. Lots of varieties for their buffet bfast. Recommneded to go to Aespa if you would like to go for a massage. Oakwood guests recieve discount. Their massage is very good."
