"The hotel amenities are okay. Pool was empty (no water), so can’t be used.
As for the room, the bed and pillows are dirty with stains, wardrobe and cabinets are worn out, so they are jammed, or not in good condition.
Service wise, the staff are friendly and helpful, a little language barrier but all worked out.
Breakfast in buffet style but options are limited."

"Hotel stay was good, booked a Family room. Services were excellent and the location was ideal, all within walking distance. We had a very good sleep. My 2nd time staying here and the breakfast buffet has since improved with a wider spread.
Keep up the good work!
Worth mentioning is that we requested 3 single beds, although 1st night it was a full house, 2nd day morning they really prepared it for us. But since we slept well, we declined the good offer. Thumbs up!"

"not a new hotel but refurbished hotel but still in good condition. we stayed for 3D2N. the room is not too big but because I booked a connecting room so it feels spacious for the 4 of us. the room is clean, they changed the bed sheets with clean ones when we first checked in the hotel. the towels also smell good. the breakfast is also delicious. there are fried rice, sausages, chicken porridge on 1st day , chicken soto on 2nd day, fruits, salad, several choices of pastry, eggs cooked with several choices. grilled chicken for the 1st day/ sweet and sour fish for 2nd day. vegetables, fried noodles, dessert is banana kolak for the 1st day/ sweet potato kolak for 2nd day. And several choices of drinks. the staff named Adalina is very friendly. offered us coffee drinks and delivered them to our table. we love her hospitality and for sure we will come back again. before I left the hotel. I registered to become a member hotel with them during check out time because I think next time I will stay at Swiss bel hotel in another city or country. but until today I have not received an email reply from the hotel."

"From when we arrived the staff straight away attended to us by carrying our bags in and opening the car door for us. We couldn't check in before 2pm but we were allowed a pre check in while they set aside our bags. And when we came back to the hotel after our room was ready, they kindly sent our bags up for us.
The hotel room was really spacious and clean and they set 3 single beds like I requested. The beds were really comfortable. The air-conditioning was strong. However the trash cans were bare without any plastic linings, which I wished they had because throwing stuff inside without the trash bag felt a little icky.
I wasn't really impressed with the shower and shampoo/conditioner dispenser. It was really quite inconvenient to use, and I'm pretty sure both dispensers were the same shower gel because the shampoo dispenser didn't really feel like shampoo or conditioner. It'd be better if they just used a travel sized bottle. Other than that the toilet was clean. I didn't have a chance to use the bathtub though.
The breakfast buffet had a variety of foods of which I thoroughly enjoyed, from breads, desserts, local food.
Overall highly recommend, the staff was attentive, the food was great, the room was spacious (but bring your own soap/shampoo). It's worth the price and enjoyed my stay. I would book this hotel a second time if come to Batam again."

"We booked two rooms for two nights. The location is the best plus point for this hotel. Service was pretty good too. Price for hotel not cheap especially when we paid more to get a sea view, expecting to have a good view of the sea, something like in photo 1 but in reality, we got a limited view as seen in photo 2. Not worth paying extra for two nights for this kind of view. There were also no place like roof top garden to enjoy the sea breeze and relax.
We paid about S$11 each to try the breakfast but everyone felt it really was a waste of money as nothing tasted good. In fact the tauhu in the laksa tasted off and the crackers were worse than the ones we bought from the supermarket. We couldn't believe that the standard of the food in this hotel was so low.
We would consider staying here again if we only want the convenience of the location and nothing else."

"Overall, extremely pleasant experience.
Location was near Nagoya Hill area with many essentials stores nearby that were accessible by a designated pathway that leads out from the hotel lobby lift area. There’s also a Starbucks cafe downstairs at the lobby of the hotel that comes with a pool table.
Room was great. Service was excellent and even satisfied my extra requirement of having a birthday cake surprise for my partner which was greatly appreciated. Room amenities were all alright. Toiletries were more than adequate which was really great! Comes with a bathtub big enough for two. TV was big enough and comes with Netflix. Breakfast had a widespread of cuisines and pool and gym amenities were really satisfactory.
E-hailing services such as Grab and Gojek were easily booked from the hotel lobby. Security assuring and tight with every car entering the hotel premises being subjected to a security check.
Hotel doorman was extremely friendly and helpful.Room service was extraordinary and was very good and relatively cheap!
Some areas for improvement include:
- Some of the light switches in the room were either not functioning or it was difficult to switch the light on or off probably due to the electrical contact issue.
- The peephole was loose and was not functioning properly.
Overall, a very pleasant and satisfactory experience. Definitely recommend!!! :)"

"Hotel is new and very clean with basic amenities. I like the room with spacious shelves that we could put our luggage bags. A lot of varieties for breakfast, and normally with quite a number of local dishes. Overall the egg station and bread are those i preferred since some food was not up to standards. Staff are courteous, pleasant and helpful when i asked for recommendation. Lobby has a huge sitting area for meeting up with friends and right at the end, a small lounge which serves drinks. The only inconvenient part is the swimming pool - it is not in the same building and cannot reach with a connecting lift. Swimmers has to move out of the hotel to go to the next building, move to level 6 and there's the swimming pool. There are changing rooms available. Perhaps the hotel is new, our taxi driver could not locate the hotel. As there are a few Harris properties in Batam, best to inform taxi driver including address. Btw, getting Grab to any other shopping malls are convenient and low cost. There are plenty of eaterie around. Within minutes walk, there are minimarts, cafe, food court, restaurant, massage parlours, skincare and hair salon! These are 2-3 storey high building. Nagoya Hill is the nearest shopping mall which is about 10-15 minutes walk.
There is a school nearby so you could hear some noise when they are conducting activities.
Also on-going construction nearby, can't really hear from room, so it doesn't bother us.
Over all a great stay!"

"The service was welcoming and accomodating, however, food delivery had to be self collected outside. Additionally, they allowed for luggage storage which was very useful to go shopping without baggages.
Location wise, it is close to Mega mall - the hotel provides shuttle service to and from mega mall. However, it is ＞20 minutes ride to eateries like 168 & A2 foodcourt and other malls such as Grand Batam, Nagoya Hill which can be predominantly found in Nagoya area.
For the room itself, it was quite dusty and did not have a good view (our view was a building that was still under construction). Amenities given were adequate and towels were changed. They replaced the slippers too, but I didn't use the new ones as I noticed a bug between the slippers (no issue though, as I just used the older slippers)"

JJaejay LimThe hotel is super clean and new! I like how the mall is just right beside the hotel and we had a pleasant stay would def come back again! One down side is I requested for quiet room and room not near the lift but my room is so noisy in the middle of the night and I didn’t sleep well ): the breakfast is not to my liking :/ but the high tea tastes good! Everything else is prefect! Staff super nice and friendly! It’s very near every where I want to go! And also I like the view even there’s an old building the view is still super nice can see the sky~

Went back to the counter and request for change of room both receptionists expression knew they give me the wrong room and though I won’t be fussy about it. Their attitude and service was so bad. There is no mini fridge and hair dryer in the room too. The room is not soundproof can hear people talking at the lobby and loud closing door.
But location was good. Very near Nagoya hill mall and other cafes. Affordable price too. Might consider book this hotel again if going back for short trip.

Staff were friendly and helpful to our enquiries.
Room was spacious and clean, lighting was sufficient as well.
Bedside power points also had standard USB connections for charging devices.
Included breakfast, and the dining hall had natural lighting, as preferred by us.
The spread of choices were enough, and they also had live stations for the usual eggs, as well as stir fry of your choice.
Location is not far from Harbour Bay, but not near the major malls, which is not a major drawback, as we are okay with taking private hires to and from the hotel.

AAriel HoLBMontigo Nongsa Resort is a must go for a relaxing retreat in Batam to rest and recharge from the daily rush of City life. Just by simply being there, immersed in the beauty of white washed villas by the sea, you will feel like you're in Greece. Soaking in the scenic view all around you everywhere you go and vibes of a slower pace of life, all the stress slips away.
In the resort, commuting is done using a buggy, or you can have a delightful walk discovering paths and scenic places not covered by the buggy.
The villa is my beautiful cozy home for the retreat with its own Infinity pool giving me all time access to the magnificent sea view, sunset and cloudy skies overhead. I can lounge on the poolside bench for a sunbath watching the ferries and sea activities or admire the broad expanse of the dark cloudy skies overhead with planes flying above at night truly quietens one's spirit down in an amazing life by the sea.
Adding sparks and highlights to the already perfect life here in Montigo Resort is the abundance of daily breakfast at Tadd's Restaurant. The staff here (including Sara and another gentleman staff whom I didn't ask for the name) are amazingly friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant breakfast experience for you.
If you have booked recreation activities in advance, you would be pleasantly delighted that staff from the Recreation Club would be there at Tadd's before you come for breakfast to meet you and assure they will bring you to the Recreation activity after breakfast! Wow! What a seamless experience to make you feel so welcome and well taken care of! Thanks to Chyntia, Coco, Yoga, Wahid and Bruhan from the Recreation Club. Chyntia has thoughtfully planned the sequence of the activities when I booked several activities over a few days without fixed dates and time to allow easier booking depending on tidal conditions and other guests' bookings.
You can try your hands at the Airsoft Gun. Coco from Recreation Club will guide you on the shooting techniques. As a first timer with Airsoft guns, I'm certainly pleased to have hit 2 targets using 30 pellets.
Next is the kayaking. Yoga from Recreation Club will brief you on using the paddle and take photos and videos for you from the shore. Just paddle out to the peaceful sea and take in the entire landscape of Montigo Resort from the kayak. I'm also amazed at the opportunity to see a tiny flat crab clutching onto a floating cardboard raising one leg at me at sea!
Another exciting adventure is the ATV! Wahid from the Recreation Club will help you get familiar to the ATV in no time and guide you on a tour to the dirt track and the nearby farm in the ATV if you choose the one hour session! Along the way, he will help take photos and videos to capture your memorable ATV journey.
Lastly, you can opt for a 2 hour bike tour to 2 kampungs! Guided by Bruhan from Recreation Club, you will see the captivating rustic local life scenes, the nature and beach along the way. You will also see the mangrove village where paintball activity takes place. Bruhan will also take photos and videos for you when we pause for breaks. Thankfully, Bruhan brought along a bottle of mineral water for me for regular hydration during the tour! It totally skipped my mind to consider bringing water along!

The hotel's location was perfect, from the distance to major attractions, and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious options.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe went on a Saturday and it was fully booked. We didn’t get a King size bed that we reserved. Breakfast the next day was also a bit chaotic, as the hotel struggled to seat guests at the same time. We had to wait outside for a while before we got a table.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were standard. Rooms were clean and nice.
The construction work in front of the hotel somewhat obstructed our view of the sea, which was 10 minutes away from the hotel. We could see the sea from our sea view room, but the view wasn’t that nice.
Sidenote: Did not enjoy the Kelong seafood restaurant. The food was terrible.

TThomas96My friends and I recently stayed at Nagoya Mansion Hotel and Residence, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The hotel is in a very convenient location, just a short walking distance from Nagoya Hill Mall, making it ideal for shopping and dining.
The room facilities were average but adequate, and the cleanliness was up to standard. Although the absence of a hairdryer in the room was a minor inconvenience, the friendly and professional staff more than made up for it. They were very accommodating, even arranging for us to check in early without any additional charges, which was greatly appreciated.
Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. The hotel’s convenient location and excellent service make it highly recommendable to others. With some improvements to the facilities, it would be perfect!
