帶娃入住體驗超棒，必須五星好評！酒店提前準備了小童洗漱用品、防滑拖鞋，孩子一進房間就超開心。位置臨近景區，開車十分鐘就能到達，省去了奔波之苦。房間空間寬敞，衞生清潔到位，角落都沒有灰塵，住得放心。工作人員小周對小朋友特別有耐心，整體氛圍温馨又貼心，親子出遊強烈推薦！

We had the most wonderful stay at Qixia Shanju Hotel. As international travelers, we were truly touched by how warmly and kindly we were treated from the very first moment. The hospitality here is exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. They prepared a fire for us, brought us warm milk, and even shared food with us at times. These thoughtful gestures meant so much to us, especially being far from home. Their kindness felt genuine and heartfelt. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The environment is peaceful, clean, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing. It is located right by the water streams, which makes the atmosphere even more calming and special. Waking up to such natural surroundings was truly refreshing. This was more than just a stay; it felt like being welcomed by family. We are so grateful for the warmth, generosity, and care we experienced here. We will always remember this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and sincere hospitality. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. 💛

I have been a global traveler and quite savvy in selecting good hotels:) Now I have to say that Intercontinental Hotels are my very favorite choice! The hotel is tastefully decorated and the room is elegant, clean and comfortable w a sweeping view of Ningbo city and rivers. The staff members are extremely helpful, especially Leslie who graciously granted us the privilege to be upgraded to the executive lounge so we could enjoy some snacks while enjoying the spectacular views from the top/25th floor. The famous breakfast buffet here is also amazing. We had a great time trying a huge variety of Chinese and Western foods, such as specialty foods from Ningbo and lots of green vegetables. Absolutely loving these!Intercontinental Hotels are highly recommended to people who would enjoy a luxurious and comfortable staying in China.

Face-to-face staff are excellent with English speaking guests. Over the phone speaking English at night it’s impossible to order in-room dining or even communicate to have dishes collected. Food takes up to 45 minutes to arrive and is cold and in poor condition. Ordered an Angus burger - cold wedges and the bun was hard and cracked (perhaps left under heat lamp for too long); very poor value for money. Even buffet breakfasts are a little rough around the edges. On day 1 there was honey. On day 2 there was no will in the restaurant to supply honey or even check with the kitchen. Again, all staff (including janitors and handymen) are usually amazing and helpful. The team went out of their way to make my child feel welcome with free toys and activity packs.

Everything is good except the drop off point is not easily accessible. We went round the place for many times and finally asked the security guards the location of the entrance. We don’t like the configuration of the room at the far end corner and requested for an upgrade with additional charges. The hotel staff is so helpful and help us with the change immediately

Enjoyed our stay… staff very friendly and helpful. Location great as many restaurants very close. Large mall across street had lots of activities for young children. View from hotel was great light show on buildings at night. Was excited as children’s library was right across from hotel but when went to visit was not open yet but looks like will be soon.

The hotel has a high standard. It is clean, quiet and has got very good river views. Staff are very friendly. Especially, Mr. John Guo was very helpful with my luggages and parcel and everything. Breakfast has a lot of varieties. Especially, they provide fresh squeezed juices (watermelon juices, and orange juices)and cucumber juices. Hotel has also got a big swimming pool with 1.2 and 1.5 meters 2 depths. Would highly recommend.

It’s difficult to fault a ShangriLa La at the best of times.  During this month I stayed at three Shangri La hotels in China and this is still in my view the best.  The standards are consistent; minor differences in the lounge F&B, but always good.  One of the reception staff at another ShangriLa La asked my why I liked the Ningbo one.  Very simple I replied, the staff. Helpful to a tee, great standards maintained, competitively priced.  If there’s a criticism, it’s that the in house transport is v expensive. A hotel car to Shanghai Pudong PVG costs more than a 3 night stay.

## Park Hyatt Nirvana: A Serene Jiangnan Dream by Dongqian Lake As our car wound along the lakeside road, the understated grey-tiled roofs and white walls of the Park Hyatt Ningbo came into view. This luxurious sanctuary, transformed from an ancient Jiangnan water village, seamlessly blends traditional architectural elegance with modern sophistication. Upon arrival, May, the Front Office Manager, greeted us with a warm smile that instantly melted away our travel fatigue. With professionalism and attention to detail, she introduced the hotel’s amenities and kindly recommended an upgrade to the Lakeside Suite—a decision that immersed us in a dreamlike Jiangnan experience far beyond our expectations. The Lakeside Suite framed Dongqian Lake like a living ink-wash painting. Each morning, we opened the floor-to-ceiling windows to mist-kissed waters resembling a classical scroll; by dusk, the lake shimmered in amber hues under the setting sun, dotted with distant sailboats. Inside, the suite masterfully balanced traditional Chinese aesthetics with contemporary comfort—exquisitely carved screens divided the tranquil living space, embroidered cushions complemented modern art pieces, and the freestanding bathtub by the window created the illusion of floating above the lake. The smart bedside control system, allowing us to adjust lighting and curtains with a touch, harmonized technology with timeless elegance. May’s service was nothing short of impeccable. Noticing our preference for quiet mornings, she proactively adjusted housekeeping schedules. When we expressed interest in local flavors, she not only recommended authentic Ningbo restaurants but also hand-drew a map of nearby attractions. These thoughtful, personalized touches transformed a routine stay into a heartfelt experience. At checkout, a carefully prepared gift and a handwritten note from May added the perfect sentimental farewell. Park Hyatt Ningbo redefines luxury through details—not in opulent extravagance, but in the artful fusion of cultural heritage, intuitive service, and refined design. Here, every corner whispers a Jiangnan tale, and every gesture carries genuine warmth.
