"We love Nustar so much! This is probably our 5th time here! Stayed here from Nov 5 to 7 as it’s Mine and my bros bday and it was after Typhoon Tino. As always they are very accomodating, friendly and helpful and gave me a piece of cake and fruit bowl but this time I ask for a happy birthday note on the monitor for background pic for me & entire family as celebration but they keep telling me they will send someone up but no one really came from the IT department . I did expect a happy birthday greeting on the monitor it would have been very special, but I understand as maybe they are so busy and under staff because of the typhoon and instead of 2 pm check and we were able to check in very late like 5:30 pm because they’re probably under staffs but all of these did not ruin our overall stay as new star staffs are all very welcoming. We had birthday dinner in the good luck hotpot which is just inside Nustar as well. Thank you Nustar for being very welcoming , friendly and hand on chest when Greeting guest is such a Nustar trademark please trade me a guest feel welcome and at home"

My mother checked in a couple of days just before Christmas as she had to undergo an important medical check up at the Cebu Doctors Hospital which is just a two-minute walking distance away. This hotel is the newest addition to hospitality facilities within the Capitol Site area. Although dubbed “mini” in size, the room is visibly spacious for double occupancy, provided with very clean private toilet with hot and cold bath, open type clothes cabinet with shelves for things, and a built-in safety deposit box. Their dining area, which is accessible by stairs or by elevator at the second floor, serves free breakfast, affordable combo meals, and free drinking water to fill the pitcher in the hotel room. The dining hall also has a billiards table and entertainment area. Being located in the heart of the bustling City of Cebu, a traveller can transact business with nearby Government offices, stroll and score one’s favorites at popular shopping malls of Ayala, SM, and Robinsons, dine at restaurants just beside the hotel, and explore notable tourist spots within and beyond the city. For those traveling with vehicles, there is also a huge and secured parking area located just obliquely across the hotel. Highly recommended for family, workers, students, and business travelers alike who value excellent affordable accommodation."

"Ayala Cebu is a nice hotel that is next to Ayala mall. We arrived late and wanted to eat some , thinking the mall would be open. Please note that all food stalls and restaurants in the mall close at 9:30. So there’s that. The room was basic but had all the necessary amenities and wants that any hotel room would have. There is nothing special about this hotel. The breakfast was good with variety of foods."

"We enjoyed our 4 nights stay in savoy,though the rooms are not that spacious,but enough to move around with luggages, the food is also tasty, everyday they have different menus,the amenities and the view, on the 18th floor is wow...you can see the landscape of cebu by day and by night..memorable indeed..we enjoyed our pool and beach time too.. we will definitely come back again, all the staffs are so nice and polite..special thanks to the feont desk Jeremy, we enjoyed our last 2 nights stay because of him."

"We stayed at the Waterfront for one night to attend the Hillsong concert, and our experience was absolutely wonderful! The room was stunning—I fell in love with its charming vintage ambiance. It was impeccably clean, beautifully scented, and wonderfully soundproof. To our delight, we were upgraded from a standard room to a Superior—thank you, Waterfront! The staff truly made our stay exceptional, especially the front desk team. Check-in and check-out were effortless, smooth, and welcoming. Breakfasts were a delight, offering a fantastic start to our day. The Wi-Fi was a bit congested, likely due to the concert that evening, but thankfully we had our backup ready—no worries there! A special shoutout to the Christmas tree—it’s absolutely breathtaking and added such a magical touch to our stay. Overall, a memorable one-night stay, and we can’t wait to return!"

MMisafir KullanıcıThe property is located in business area. The hotel has an access to the mall, reason why you don’t have to worry where to eat, where to shop and where to hangout. The staff are very gracious and polite to help you. Buffet breakfast is a must for all to avail yourself when you book this property because of its wide selection and good food tastes. I used the gym twice during my stay. It’s small but enough to satisfy my need. Overall, I’m going to stay in Seda Ayala central block when I visit Cebu on the next Sinulog Fiesta.

JJaneCherviakovaThe hotel is about a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport, which is true and very convenient. You're greeted with live music at the entrance. Security is present: security checkpoints, baggage scanning, and guards with dogs. The hotel has its own beach and three entrances to the sea. The water is crystal clear, fish swim right off the shore, and life jackets are free. The hotel is very family-friendly. There are water slides, a kids' club, and a huge playroom. You can even leave your child with a nanny (for an additional fee). There are daily activities for both children and adults, including arcade machines, air hockey, and morning yoga. Breakfast is included, and it's excellent. There are two restaurants, a huge selection of food, and everything is delicious. Even ice cream is included. After breakfast, children are given marbles—a small change, but a nice touch. Lunch and dinner are extra. There are Italian and Cantonese restaurants, as well as various buffets. There are bars on the beach, by the pool, and in the lobby. Live music plays in the evening, creating a great atmosphere. The grounds are vast: golf, mini-golf, tennis, billiards, table tennis, and badminton. Wi-Fi works great throughout the property. The staff is very friendly. The main drawback is the renovations; they need a refresh. However, the service and infrastructure are still excellent.

The beach are clean and clear like crystal twinkling by the sun rays. Unfortunately, Got stung by a jellyfish and the staffs acted and ask about my wellbeing and so fast to close the beach and did the best thing action to avoid for other guests to get stung and do the protocol by putting red flag as warning sign and inform the other guest about the incident. They had immediately responded/managed to implement another activity to avoid boredom to pass time since the beach were unaccessible for the guests to enjoy which ai think are best for all ages can join and even small/children guest would enjoy. It’s a perfect weekend getaway.

MMisafir KullanıcıThis is a hidden gem and we highly recommend this resort! Pros: - It is next to a coral reef and they provide free snorkeling equipment in great condition to use! This is the best reason to stay here, all the snorkeling you want for free and without the need to travel! - Very cozy environment with about 8 rooms only? You will have lunch and dinner with the same groups of people. - Food is delicious, slightly expensive but reasonable. From my short experience, the specials of the night tend to be nicer than the normal menu items, but they are all good regardless. - I love the resort arranged tour. We took a whale shark + secret waterfall tour, and the guide, Alex, was great. It was a personal tour (2 of us) and we had to leave at 4am (we were slightly late and left around 405-410am), and when we reached the whale shark place, it was already quite crowded and we got a queue number of 52 - still pretty good. After taking the queue number, there are a bunch of shops to shop around, but we stupidly forgot to bring any cash, and Alex was kind enough to lend us money for breakfast and souvenirs. He even helped us bargain with the street peddlers when they tried to overcharge us. When swimming with the majestic whale sharks, he used his go-pro to help us take photos and videos, so we just need to enjoy ourselves and pose. Personally, I think the whale shark experience is pretty basic, not well organized and too crowded, but Alex made the experience unforgettable with his personal touches and help. Cons: - The worst part is getting there. It took us 5.5 hours to get here from Mactan-Cebu Airport using the private transfer when we arrived around 1230pm Saturday. There was jam to get out of the airport, jam in Cebu city and road works all along the road to Granada. When we returned to the airport in Monday morning 4am, the trip took about 3 hours. - The massage is in a room with a nice sea view, but the massage was very gentle and I prefer something stronger to sooth the body aches (from sitting in the car for over 5 hours). So I guess this is up to personal preferences. - The snorkeling was great, but it could be a bit intimidating when it's just the 2 of us snorkeling unsupervised in a large open sea. We did not face any danger, but also did not dare to venture too far and for too long as we city folks are worried about snakes and jellyfishes. We do see fishes jumping out of the sea in the distance, and this could be a sign of predators nearby. - Adults only. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to bring our kids here in the future and spend more time here. However, with their adults only policy, we won't be able to do that.

The resort offers a relaxing atmosphere with strong hospitality standards and several standout features, though there are also areas that could benefit from improvement. What I Liked 1. Excellent service and hospitality, especially at the Oyster Bar. The staff were attentive, warm, and professional, which truly elevated the dining experience. 2. Newly refurbished modern rooms that feel fresh, clean, and well-designed for comfort. 3. Convenient buggy service around the property, which makes getting around easy and enjoyable. 4. Lifeguards stationed at all pools and swimming areas, providing reassurance and a strong sense of safety for guests. 5. Anuma Spa’s ambience and treatment selection, which offer a relaxing environment with a wide range of spa services to choose from. Areas for Improvement 1. Breakfast management during peak hours needs significant improvement. Around 8:30 AM, the breakfast area becomes very busy, and food replenishment is slow. For example, while there are three hot steamers dedicated to eggs, bacon — a hot favorite — is served on a small plate that gets wiped out within seconds. Food supply and quality control during peak periods should be better managed to ensure consistency. The bread selection, however, is excellent and deserves recognition. 2. Security procedures may unintentionally compromise guest privacy. Guests are frequently asked to state their room number when leaving the lobby, and again when entering through the guardhouse — first to taxi drivers and then to security officers. This means multiple strangers may overhear room numbers, which raises safety and privacy concerns. A more discreet verification process would enhance guest security. 3. Spa promotions for in-house guests are lacking. While the spa experience is excellent, there are currently no exclusive perks for staying guests. Introducing options such as an early bird discount (e.g., 10:00 AM–3:00 PM) or curated half-day and full-day “head-to-toe recharge” packages would be attractive. The spa pricing is relatively high compared to comparable standard spas outside the hotel, so value-added incentives for in-house guests would make the experience even more appealing. Overall, Bluewater Maribago offers a comfortable and well-maintained resort experience with strong service standards. MMisafir KullanıcıThis is a wonderful hotel for families the pools and facilities are fantastic and great for kids and families. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. On check in you do have to deposit 2000 pesos per night, but while you are eating at the restaurant you can charge it to your room and pay out of the deposit. There is not much outside the resort so most meals will most likely be spent there. The food is very nice with a good selection and breakfast/dinner buffet available or have a la carte.

She gave us wrong room because i booked mountain view then what we got is a wall, she said the mountain is behind that wall, omg, how come?..but later on she called again and transferred us to another room with mountain view, ok fine. But what dissapoints us more is when she called again and said, that they will get the set of cups from our new room for the reason that we already used the cups on the first room that she gave us, and that makes me mad, is that a big thing? Because of that we never use their cups, instead we buy our own. When we confront her, she’s not apologetic but instead answering us stupidly. Another thing is their flat iron is for rent, 200 pesos every 1 hour of using it. We have many travels abroad and have checked in several hotels, Ist time in history that I encountered a hotel like that only in Cebu

The receptionist (both Kuya and Ate), whom I think the owner or the caretaker are very friendly and accommodating. They answer all our inquiries, and even give us some tips on where to book online and some details about when they started opening the place etc..The place is very new, and the rooms are very clean and new. We've been to many places but this is the only place that has a swimming pool and their rooms and bed are big with our own bathroom/toilet, aircon, TV and free wifi, and it is only 700pesos per night for 2 pax. However, they do not have a hanging rack inside the bathroom, but they have a hanging cabinet where you can hang your clothes and you can also hang your wet clothes outside the room. How we wish we saw this place first because the place we booked before this, we also paid 700 pesos but it does not have a pool, and the room is very small with a double deck bed, and it does not have a TV and private toilet/bathroom. As per Kuya, they also offer catering services and private events to be held in their place. They also have free coffee and water in their mini pantry just in front of the pool. They also have breakfast if you want to book with breakfast. They also have a menu of their available foods at a reasonable price. Overall, we really like this place, what you see in the pictures are exactly what you get in actual. We will book this place again to celebrate the birthday of my partner's brother. Thank you,

BBoris AtamanenkoIt's a mixed bag. The location is excellent, offering a different, good sea every day. For safe swimming, you need to follow the tide schedule. The hotel grounds and plants are very well maintained; they're beautiful and clean. There's a long stretch of beach for strolls. Logistically convenient – there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops selling travel essentials, and a market with fresh produce nearby. A major drawback is the large construction site nearby, which can be heard all day, especially in the bungalows nearby. The rooms and bungalows are in fair condition. However, there are some serious downsides: every other day, it was impossible to shower due to low water pressure; when the pressure was low, the water heater wouldn't turn on; and the water had a strong sewer smell. At breakfast, the restaurant won't offer you salt, pepper, or sauces unless you ask. Drinks include juice from concentrate or coffee. Only after a week did we discover they offer tea for breakfast. The breakfast is very basic, and there's no fruit at all, which is surprising given the price of fruit on the island. There was trash on the beach all week, just a little bit, washed up by the sea. It was cleaned up quickly, as it didn't require much effort. But why is the beach cleaned only once a week? The hotel website advertises a shuttle service, but I advise against it. Personal experience: I sent a text message and email to the hotel on time; our ferry departed at 5:30 PM. We arrived on the island around 7:00 PM. We weren't met. We got there ourselves. A hotel security guard met us at the hotel and gave us our room keys. It immediately became clear that the light switch in the bathroom was causing lightning and could shock us, and the water heater wasn't working. The security guard said, ”Take this up with the management tomorrow; my concern is safety.” Information about room problems is not passed on to the management. So, we spent the first night without hot water or power in the bathroom. After we contacted them, they gave us a working room mid-way through the second day. They didn't apologize for the missed shuttle service, and they didn't offer the stated compensation for our independent transfer. Moreover, I received a welcome email from the hotel after only one day of my stay. The hotel has adequate staff, and the people are positive and friendly. However, management, quality control, and leadership are seriously flawed. The rooms are overloaded with text reminders, rules, and restrictions, many of which would be confusing to a normal person. Or does the hotel manager think only people with dementia stay at their hotel? Reminders and restrictions are completely unnecessary if guests are greeted promptly and the necessary information is provided electronically in their native language.
