"This hotel is right in front of the famous Kuching landmark - the 7 cats. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The toilet also comes with bidet and shower was good. Breakfast buffet was also good with a decent selection of Sarawak food as well. Nearby Carpenter street too! Overall even though its a little dated it is still a very good choice to stay."

"I stayed at Astana Wing Riverside Hotel during a recent business trip and found it to be a comfortable and practical choice. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a conducive environment for rest after a long day of meetings. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants within walking distance, which made meals and short breaks very manageable during my stay. The service provided by the staff was acceptable; however, I believe a warmer and more welcoming approach would further enhance the experience for business travellers. "The room is spacious and nice, the only thing is that it’s a bit old, location is good.  Housekeeping always comes early in the morning and will leave a note under your room if you put do not disturb.  Always need to ask housekeeping to come and clean the room if the paper is there, there was one day that we just put housekeeping green lights on and ignored the paper, the room was not clean when we went back at night."

"Imperial Hotel Kuching offers a convenient location and generally comfortable rooms, but the air-conditioning system needs attention. Each time the unit is switched on, it produces a loud, persistent noise that disrupts rest. The room itself is clean and well-kept, and staff service is prompt, yet the noisy aircon significantly affects the overall stay. Addressing this issue would greatly improve the guest experience."

"It's been a good experience staying in this hotel for the past 5 days. The breakfast is good. The room is spacious. Service is very well maintained. For improvement; 1. Wifi sometimes is okay, sometimes slow. 2. Swimming pool operation time is very limited. Would be better if guests could use it up to 8pm. 3. The room got a weird sound when all the light was switched off. Not sure if it's wiring or.... Will definitely comeback!"

"Take a long time to check in even though I came at the second day of our stay cause flight delay.. and have to show the receipt from trip.Com to show if the prices already include tax or not.. I think they should've prepared this before guest arrived for i already booked weeks before. Amenities is to simple they only gave small soap bar and mini sachet shampoo the best thing of this hotel is only the location which is near to restaurants and convenient stores"

Our 5th time staying here and have always been happy with hilton kuching rooms being spotless. However this time, we have got a room that is not so clean and things were in bad condition as compared to the previous rooms I have stayed in. Check in was great as attended by Bong. One other feedback, the lobby area parking attendant, there is one lady with short hair seems to be quite fierce looking and not sure if this is a hospitality service from Hilton Kuching as she does not even have a smile on her face as compared to the rest of the staff attending to the parking in the Lobby, they were very friendly and welcoming which I have always experienced in the past. Hope the management is able to do something about her and remind her on the basics of being in thehospitality service.

Hotel is near to Kuching waterfront and many tourist attractions around the Sarawak river. The infinity Swimming pool will be the highlight of this hotel overseeing the Sarawak river It is also the newest hotel in the area, so facilities wise is quite well maintained

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to help us with a smile. They even waiting and welcoming us to the counter for registration though it’s a hot day. He also led us to our guest room. When we opened the room, the air conditioning was ready for us. The room was clean, spacious and well-maintained, offering both comfort and a beautiful view. I especially enjoyed the greeneries and peaceful surrounding, the well-kept landscaping facilities and delicious food served at the restaurant. Everything was thoughtfully arranged especially my birthday cake, to make the guests feel welcome and relaxed. The swimming pool is built above the sea with a good and fantastic view across the sea horizon especially beautiful sun rise view. Besides, it’s safe for beginner like me. We truly appreciate the warm hospitality and I will definitely recommend this resort to friends and family, and look forward to coming back again. Congrats.

Room with sea view was absolutely perfect. The panoramic ocean view from our room were breathtaking, green, fresh. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. Very calm pool to swim. Private beach access was ideal for relaxing vacation.

Great Choice for Families with Kids I recently stayed at this hotel with my small family, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for a short and convenient trip. The service was consistently warm and helpful throughout our stay. The receptionist recommended a cozy family room that suited us perfectly — comfortable, clean, and ideal for parents traveling with young children. One of the biggest advantages is the location. The hotel is within walking distance of many key attractions, making it very easy to plan outings with kids. There’s also a shopping area located within the same building, which was extremely convenient. We were able to get almost anything we needed before 9 PM without having to go far. As for dining, I wouldn’t recommend the food court attached to the building. The hotel’s own dining options or nearby restaurants offer a much better experience in terms of quality and comfort, especially when traveling with children. Overall, this hotel offers great service, an excellent location, and a family-friendly setup. I would gladly return and recommend it to others looking for a hassle-free stay with kids.

There was an issue with the air conditioner. Other than that, everything was good, but some rooms didn’t have a hair dryer or a fridge. However, I was impressed because the maintenance team asked if I wanted to change rooms and directly contacted the receptionist, who immediately allowed us to do so.

I booked a Standard Hill View King on Chinese New Year Eve, The overall stay is a decent one, was provided with one King size bed and one single size bed, room was equipped with one mini fridge, one kettle and some cups, tissues, TV but the satellite line was bad as TV line appears unstable, small hair dryer, you can refer to photo I posted for amenities and room view, what I showed is all I got. Breakfast wasn't many choice but good enough, they have laksa, kolomee, salad, nasi lemak, bread

I booked a king size room, the room has space and it's comfy. But, 1. There is no place to sit except a bed in the room. 2. I didn't receive instructions to check in and have to make multiple calls. 3. The shower is great, however if the room next to you is showering, you can hear the water pump and it's loud. There are multiple people who shower around 1 am and it's terrible. If the sound can be controlled then it's great. Overall good to stay.
