"We came to Shanghai for a family holiday n picked this hotel. The location is NOT that close to the subway station, 15 mins walking or ¥17RMB by taxi if you don't mind. But the bus stops are just downstairs. The rooms are quite old, can NOT count as ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ at all, felt like 20 years+ and the shower 🚿 is ridiculous cheap one, I've never never seen such a simple one in a 4-star hotel. The only good n impressive thing is that they do have a yummy breakfast buffet for free (or ¥58 if it's not included) with a lot of different kinds of food. Staff members are very good n helpful, especially Miss Xiao. But guys please upgrade your facilities."

"The hotel service is general thoughtful. We asked for medicated oil as my mum was not feeling well, but there wasn't one available. Instead of just saying no, the customer service offered to send us oil essence that would help to improve headaches and stress. And this really helped my mum to feel and sleep better. F&B service staff at Elements and Chinese restaurant were attentive and competent. Generally, we did enjoy our stay in this hotel. Pillows are comfortable and housekeeping always did a thorough job everyday. Views from our rooms are nice and we could see the light up at 6pm everyday. Check-in service could be improved. We had never been kept waiting to check-in before as every hotel we went to made sure the guests don't wait for too long. After waiting in the line for 30mins, I observed that the front desk needs to input alot of information for each guest. Maybe more efficient system and better process flow would help the staff and have less customers complaining. Everyone around was were dismayed by the waiting time. Note that whenever travellers arrive to check in, most are tired and burdened with baggage and want to settle down as soon as possible. Last thing we want is to queue for a long time to check in. Having mentioned that, I would like to give credit to the front desk staff. Despite the pressure from the sounds of grumpy guests waiting in the line, they still handled each guest professionally and attending to all the enquiries patiently. This is not easy. Also, your porter service could be improved also. There are more people standing at the concierge counter indoors, and usually only 1 outside. Which is something I don't understand. During our 4-day stay here, no one helped us at all. Even when we checked out, it was our driver who helped us with our bags. The bell boy chose to help another car who was checking in. Usually we tip bell boy but we had no chance to tip at all here. The corridor to the rooms are mostly carpeted so it is really difficult to drag our luggage. The lifts are spread out along two long rows and I have seen a lady dragging her luggage from one lift to the next lift, and then to the next one cursing because she could not reach each lift in time before the door closed. We felt tired too through our stay here, turning 360 degrees to look out for lift doors opening. We do recommend the hotel for a guaranteed comfortable stay here as it is near to many major shopping malls and attractions and restaurants."

Ses o kadar rahatsız ediciydi ki, gecenin bir yarısı bile sizi uyandırabilirdi. Dün gece saat 2'de, koridorun aşağısındaki farklı odalardan gelen kapıların tekrarlayan ”patlama, patlama, patlama” sesini açıkça duyabiliyordum. Ses yalıtımının olmaması otelin genelinde büyük bir sorun. Sorunlu kapı gürültüsünün ötesinde, üst kattan ve komşu odalardan gelen sesleri de açıkça duyabiliyordum. Bu otelde genel uyku kalitesi gerçekten kötü. Bu gürültü endişelerinin dışında, oteldeki deneyimimin geri kalanı tatmin ediciydi. Ancak, kapının çarpmasının neden olduğu kesintiler ve ses yalıtımının eksikliği, gelecekte burada tekrar kalmaktan çekinmeme neden olurdu. Yumuşak kapanan menteşelere sahip kapılara basit bir değişiklik çok yardımcı olurdu."

"Our stay ( December 23 and 24th) was absolutely wonderful. The hotel has exceeded my expectations. My young daughter and I walked a short distance to NanJing street and YuYuan Garden, and the street food market. You walk out of the hotel, cross the intersection and you are on the Bund looking at the Pearl Tower. Our room with double bed and city view of Pearl Tower was very clean. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. The stuff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The room was very clean and the breakfast offered great variety of western and Asian cuisine. I would definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again!"

"It's near to train station, hotel was grand, check in was smooth. Informed the hotel it's for our anniversary and they told us a complimentary cake will be given to us on the check in night but perhaps they forgot, nevertheless they gave a complimentary birthday slice of cake several days later. The shower and toilet bowl pressure were low, informed the front desk and they fixed it the same day and was great after that. Overall a good experience, but not an exceptional one."

"So close to perfection.... So close. I have been putting off staying at this hotel for years, and that is a regret. This hotel is amazing. Location, Great. Staff, friendly. Beds, comfortable. 24 hour room service, fantastic. Bidet toilet seat, amazing. For the price, this hotel is a steal. Better service and better rooms than hotels that are double the price. My biggest problem. The bathtub is too small. It looks big, but for a 190cm guy, it's just way way too small. Looks big in pictures... Not in reality. They probably have bigger tubs in different rooms (maybe executive or suites). I will contact them before booking again to make sure tub is big. The pool is great. The Sauna and steam room in the changing rooms are great. I do wish there was a jacuzzi or some hot pool... Either in the gendered changing rooms or by the pool. Recommendations: the bathrobes are small, get some plus sized ones. More coffee in the room, 2 pods aren't enough. More water in rooms, 4 small bottles aren't enough. Allow cooling during winter, I know it's not easy, but many expats don't want 25° rooms. Finally... For room service. EGGS BENEDICT!!!! You already have a good room service breakfast menu... But you need eggs Benedict. I judge hotels room service based on club sandwiches. This club sandwich was mid tier. Not bad, not fantastic. Granted I ordered the late night club sandwich. Maybe there is a difference. But this is the same with all of the other room service food I ordered. Good. Just a few steps away from great. But super happy there is a 24hr menu! Next time I stay I will experiment with regular hours food vs late night. In all. This hotel is amazing! Definitely will stay again. Just hopefully I can get a bigger bathtub next time."

"This is a great place to stay whether you have a long layover in Pudong airport or if you are visiting Disneyland. They have a free shuttle bus from / to the airport which is very convenient even if you arrive late at night. The room is very beautiful, the place is quiet and perfect for a good sleep. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

Araçlar sadece saat yönünde hareket etmektedir. - Otelin girişinden Çizgi Roman Sergisi'nin 10. Kapısı girişine 3 dakikalık bir taksi yolculuğu ile ulaşılabilir. İç geçiş yoktur, dolayısıyla taksi çağırmak çok uygundur. Kapıdaki görevliden check-in ve temizlik personeline kadar her personel çok güler yüzlü ve mükemmel hizmet veriyor. Otelin alt katında iki restoran bulunmaktadır ve ayrıca kapınıza kadar paket servis siparişi verebilirsiniz."

"I had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Shanghai North Bund. The hotel is spotlessly clean, which is extremely important to me as I’m very sensitive to dust and cigarette smoke — and Sofitel did not disappoint at all. The location is excellent, convenient, and close to everywhere I needed to go. What impressed me the most, however, was the service. From the Chief Concierge to the Front Office team, everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. They truly made sure my stay was smooth and stress-free. I would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel."

"The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff at the front desk are warm and welcoming, and speak English quite well. The breakfast options are varied, and I especially liked the fresh pastries and fruits. Overall, it’s a great hotel to stay at."
