Accommodation average for the price paid. Basic but the property and estate around is good and well maintained. Lots of greenery and ample , easy parking. Old world charm And grandeur but the rooms Look more like military barracks/ hostel Types !!

Hotel really well situated for the motorway and for Newbury station. The facilities are really good, and service received from the moment we arrived from the very friendly and helpful member of staff on reception. Really lovely breakfast with a great choice of food. Will definitely be returning

Nice location, ample parking, easy to find. Disappointing things were no wifi connectivity in the room no network signal either. The leisure facilities were not looked after as jacuzzi was out of order without a mention on website, steam room was not operational one day out of the two days stay. Not enough lights in the room. Double bed was bit too small. Both The reception guys were excellent very polite and helpful.

Have stayed here before, convenient for LHR which is only 15 minutes away, room although very comfortable was a little dated in the bathroom, whoever put the sealant around the bath/shower did not do a great job as it was a bit tacky, this is not a criticism more an observation. One annoying factor which seems to be creeping in amongst hotels is the additional charge for parking, the room rate was very reasonable hence why I selected it, however I admit I missed the info on parking charges which added another £10 overall to the cost. it's a bit like airports charging you to drop off their customers.

Fabulous place! For the price point I was concerned this would be disappointing but it was the complete opposite and I'd happily recommend it to anyone. Absolutely perfect for our purposes, close to Newbury for dinner and exploring, and a great place to go back to at night (the £15 cost of a cab was well within our budget). Breakfast was very tasty and organised with a well stocked selection and nice atmosphere. We used the pool and sauna in the morning after checkout which was clean and very welcoming. My ONLY gripe was that check-in was a little rushed and felt a little like a conveyor belt, we had been stuck in traffic and a warmer welcome would have been appreciated. Overall though, a great experience. Well done to the whole team!

MMisafir KullanıcıTravelled with my 2 youngest kids for the WE. Very friendly staff. Clean hotel. Great pool ! Breakfast was also good and the kids enjoyed it a lot. Surprised by the space in the room. Very central as Reading high street is 50m from the hotel. I’d definitely come back.

MMisafir KullanıcıAfter requesting a quiet room due to having our 11 month old with us we were placed directly above the function suite for a wedding and while testing the sound system the floor below are feet curated and the noise was crazy. The moved us rooms out of the original Manor House we requested and into the furthest room possible from all amenities on offer smaller than our original room, 3rd floor and no lift with a baby in a pram and lots of luggage. The room was also unbearably hot and a crazy sensor/light in the bathroom kept our son (and them us) all night. Not sure if recommended staying here. .
