"Great place, the hotel was very very clean, it has several pools, hot springs that we enjoyed a lot. "Well kept and managed hotel close to hiking tracks through bamboo coated mountains. Absolutely no complaints about the hotel itself, great value, friendly staff and good food. The breakfast was suitable for vegetarians, which worked out great for us. The one thing to be careful of is that the village this hotel is in doesn't have a great amount of public transport to get you to other places other than a very time consuming bus. If your Chinese is good enough, you might be able to convince a taxi to come get you, but they'll ask for a bit more due to the location. However, if you just want to relax, hike and explore the local mountains (there is a dam you 'can' swim in, and a waterfall within 3km), it's a great place."

"We had a fantastic stay at Elephant and Moon resort. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Throughout the stay, they helped with accommodating our needs, including bringing extra cutlery, glasses, ensuring the jacuzzi was in good condition and ready for use, and delivering food from the restaurant to our room. The breakfast had many options and the dinner menu was very good. The beds were very comfortable and black-out curtains were provided. The facilities were very clean and the surrounding environment truly captures the natural beauty. We truly enjoyed our stay. The Rainfield Pavilion Rachel House exceeded our expectations. We look forward to visiting Elephant and Moon again."

AAlexRJSuperb stay, in a perfect location amidst a bamboo forest, far from the crowds and making you feel fully relaxed and comfortable. The vibe at the house is super cozy, the place is extremely clean and beautifully decorated, with warm colors and a home-vibe all around. Ernest and his team were super supportive since the first moment of the reservation and assisted us immediately through WeChat if any question. We also enjoyed their exquisite Chinese local dinner set; it was tasty and fresh! The breakfast is also very delicious. Finally, the bedroom was really amazing, with one of the best views I’ve had in a countryside hotel by far; just spectacular to relax and get a perfect getaway from the city. We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends. Thanks for all Ernest!!!

MMisafir KullanıcıOur stay at Naked Stables was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable for our whole family. We travelled as a family of six, including two elderly members and two kids, and the resort was perfect for all ages. There were plenty of engaging activities to keep everyone happy — from fishing, pottery, and crafts to outdoor experiences. The kids especially loved the horse riding and grooming sessions, which were thoughtfully organised and very safe. We stayed in a three-bedroom villa, which was luxurious, spacious, and extremely comfortable. Each bedroom having its own bathtub was such a treat. The villa was beautifully decorated, and we were deeply touched by the thoughtful surprise of decorations and cakes arranged for our son’s birthday — a gesture that made our stay extra special. Getting around the resort was effortless, as the buggy service promptly picked us up from the villa whenever we needed. We also loved having a lovely hiking trail right outside our villa, perfect for a peaceful morning. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety, and the noodle station was a definite highlight for us. A special mention goes to Chuan Chuan the resident dog— friendly, gentle, and absolutely adored by our kids. Every detail reflected care and thoughtfulness, making our stay both relaxing and joyful. We left with beautiful memories and cannot wait to return to Naked Stables again. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort, nature, and meaningful experiences.

This place was really a good choice we made when booking it on ctrip , the place decoration is super beautiful and modern , also is in a very quiet zone close to a creek and bamboo forest all around , super calm and nice . The staff was beyond friendly , attentive and professional , they made us feel like at home . And the food omg was amazing , the cuisine was Chinese but not normal Chinese , it was a local style but super natural , everything tasted super fresh and like they were using the ingredients from their farm. I highly recommend this place to people looking for a getaway from the big city , here is everything you expect from moganshan but better because the rooms were better that in my own home lol, internet worked perfect , also the showery and tv all perfect . We came by trains from Deqing and they help us arrange the driver to pick us up , highly recommend this place !

JJuliaFThis is indeed a nice hotel with beautiful facilities, though there are things to improve , given the high price. Many comments mention that someone has added them on WeChat upon booking, communicating the details of the booking and reminding to make dinner reservations. Unfortunately , nobody has added me and I feel like we missed out many things because of that. For example, we didn’t know that every on-site activity is organized per certain hour , as we arrived around 3 pm we already missed most of them on that day. Also , because of the holiday, the famous castle Chinese restaurant was fully booked for dinner and the next day’s lunch so couldn’t appreciate it . We had to settle for a room service that had very limited options not to mention, was ridiculously overpriced . 300 yuan for three basic dishes like fried rice, stir-fried pork and pork ribs soup, small portions too. Pity. There was a buffet diner happening at another restaurant by the pool, but 460¥ per person seemed too expensive so we passed. Some other small things like broken locker in a changing room or plenty of leaves and trash from the trees in the pool that nobody bothered to clean - felt annoying, again, considering the price per night. I’d still recommend this hotel for visiting at least once in your life. Service is mostly very good, breakfast more than decent, the heated outdoor pool is lots of fun even with the dry leaves floating on it. They have a game room, “activity village” with many things happening all day round ( watch the time though ) , the room I booked was nothing special but had everything we needed. It’s convenient to move around the territory on a “buggy” , they are very efficient. Only if you have a choice , maybe don’t come here on a national holiday so overall experience would be better.

Jjollyb13The hotel is inside the Scenic spot area, hence it is reqd to register the Didi car license beforehand with the hotel so they can get the free tickets. We got the hotel's WeChat contact beforehand and everything was arranged smoothly. The room is clean, spacious with a gorgeous view facing the sunrise. Totally worth the amount paid. A special shout-out to hotel manager Damon, he didn't speak English but went above and beyond to help us with our queries. Would definitely live here if I went back to Moganshan!

1102000****感謝莫干山莊張麗張經理連續2天的熱情招待，觀海樓星巴克、旭光台郵氧咖啡下午茶小吃、中式晚餐、早餐都很好吃，滴翠潭運動健身設施也應有盡有，另贈登山杖、莫干山茶葉。房間寬敞明亮、乾淨整潔，陽台開闊舒適、景觀秀麗，酒店就在蔣公館繼續上山200米距離，旅行團參觀完蔣公館後即會折返，所以莫干山莊得以免受雜人干擾。遊覽主席下榻處時皇后飯店是唯一停車點，千年古銀杏就在蘆花盪飯店大堂門口，遊蘆花盪與白雲山莊就停在白雲飯店停車場，此3處飯店都是進入各大景點的必經之路，人多喧鬧，無莫干山莊之典雅幽靜。

FF.Po.Very nice place, isolated and peaceful. Very big rooms with comfortable bed for excellent rest. I also appreciated the design of the common areas. All the staff, and in particular the guy ”Mark” (who spoke a good English for the standards), was very kind and professional, I felt like I was at home. I loved also the Chinese breakfasts!
