"This is my third time to stay in this hostel.
The staff here are very helpful and provide very useful information about places to go and dinning places, etc. Since I made a last minute short trip away the Harbin, the hostel has a flexibility to provide a cancellation of the room without charge.
In general, staff here are very nice and the atmosphere of the hostel is good. You can join their group to get /provide useful travel information. If you have interested to join hostel activities such as short trip, board games, it is welcomed to ask the front line staff too. Collaboration makes things better.
Last but not least, the cat star here is very popular."

"Booked a private room and it exceeded my expectations. The hostel has been newly renovated so the rooms are modern and clean. Spacious bed with a nice side sofa, free washer and dryer with detergent provided, and the location is stellar, right next to the main street and subway. Highly recommend"

"Very good location. Close to Zhongyang street and 10 minutes walk to Hong zhuan morning market.
Staff here are young people, they can speak some English and we sometimes use translator to chat with them. They were very helpful and enthusiastic.
Wifi here also was fast in a lobby and also in the room.
Airport drop off and pick up was also good.
The room is small though but it's okay when compare with the price and location during peak period (winter season)."

We are from Malaysia, and we coincidentally found this hotel after we failed to book a train to Harbin City. Fortunately, we found hard seating available to Harbinxi, which led to our journey here.
The family room in this hostel is very spacious, and the private bathroom is large with solid concrete walls, unlike many budget hostels that use tempered glass partitions.
The location is convenient, just a 9-minute walk to the station and several large shopping centers. To access other popular areas, you can take the subway for just 4 Yuan per person per trip.
This hostel is run by a couple who are very nice and helpful. We felt very welcomed; the lady owner, Mdm Wong, even told us, ”If you get bullied by anyone in Harbin, call me. I will protect you.” 😀 Lastly, there's a gray cat in the hostel that our kids loved. She enjoys being petted a lot.
The only thing I would like to mention is that some hidden areas, like under the bed and curtains, are dusty. I hope the owner can address this."

"If you're planning to visit the Harbin Ice and Snow World, remember to purchase spikes at the counter (8 YUAN). It's affordable and can prevent falls and injuries. Unfortunately, I slipped on the ice and badly hurt my ankle. Luckily, there's a nearby hospital, Harbin Shengfeng Hospital, just a 10-15 minute walk away (you can use Google Maps). The doctors there are helpful, but they don't speak English, so bring your passport and use Google Translate if needed.
On a brighter note, I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. They have a large mirror and a hot water station where you can prepare instant noodles. Although they don't have a kitchen, you can easily get utensils and a mug from nearby convenience stores, especially if you're planning to make coffee.
One thing I found really convenient was the international charger ports provided for each bed. Before checking out, remember to strip your bed and leave a note in the lobby to indicate your presence. I left a Malaysian flag as my mark."

"This youth hostel is just the best youth hostel I have ever been to. The people are really nice, friendly and can speak english. This is a must place in Harbin. It's a lot of fun for kids and adults to be able to be creative, cook, and play music or sing on the stage. We made a pen out of wood, and made some baozi. I recommend it for people who want to have fun and make some new friends. We have great souvenirs of this place and hope to be able to come back soon.

"Couldn't have agreed more with a place like this. The hostel is on a 26th floor so you have a good view of the city. Place is also close to the Siberian Tiger Park, so this is a plus
Host is really nice and helpful, we did different activities such as hotpot dinner with friends. And he also provided all the information I needed to visit Snow Town. If there's a place to stay not far from downtown, this is the place to go!
Hoping to come back anytime soon!!"

I would not recommend it as a room to relax for long periods or work in. The woman who runs it is very lovely and hospitable, making the whole experience positive. A good option for those who want to save money and intend spending most of their days out exploring.

CCris R.I love the location of this hostel. It was just right across the Zhongyang Street subway stop (Line 2). If you go to the Ice and Snow World Park, that's only three stops away for only, if I remember right, RMB 2. Make sure to read/check the other reviews for photos of the gate that will lead you to the door of this hostel. I arrived in the morning, about 10 a.m., and was welcomed by JP. After sorting out my things, I left my luggage to head to the Ice and Snow World Park where I stayed until 5 p.m.
I took the subway back to Zhongyang Street. I planned on walking from there to Saint Sophia Cathedral but it was too cold for me. I live in Beijing but I am originally from the Philippines so even if I was dressed warm - thermal clothes, hot packs, several layers, downjacket, scarves, beanies, ear muffs - it was still brrrr cold!
I took a Didi car from there to the cathedral and spent about 30 minutes there and then went back to the hostel. There was a social night going on downstairs but I was so beat that day I just decided to rest. I briefly interacted with a lady from Singapore named Megan.
The following day, I walked from the hostel to Hongzhuan Morning Market which is a culture of its own. Come hungry and happy! From there, I took a Didi to go to the No. 6 factory of Harbin Pharmaceutical Group Holding Co. It is dubbed as the ”Louvre of the East” but having visited the Louvre itself, it doesn't really come close. I think the moniker just came from the fact that there are several paintings and art collection in the building and the area outside feels a bit like you're in Europe.
Another Didi ride got me to Lao Daowai or the Chinese Baroque Street then another Didi to Central Street. Don't miss these two as they are filled with worthy buildings and spots to marvel, photograph of or buy trinkets from.
Harbin was the last stop of my northeastern China winter sojourn. Will I come back? Maybe. Will I stay in this hostel? Maybe.
I like the arrangement of the beds in this 16-people dorm for girls but the bathroom is a squat toilet and I don't like that. If I ever stay here again, I will choose the rooms with Western-style toilets.

ZZhanguowei該賓館位置离哈尔濱火車站及地鉄站、步行只需5分鐘…附近超市及各式飲食店應有盡有，到各個景點搭地鐵皆可到、唯有哈尔濱啤酒博物館及哈葯六广、可能就比較遠了！賓館棉被很厚実蓋的很暖和、睡起來很是舒服！

MMisafir Kullanıcı숙소는 아주 따뜻했다. 추우니까 사람들이 그냥 공용공간에서 담배핀다. 침구는 1층만 잘 정돈해주고 2층은 더러움,,, 그래도 2층이 좀 덜 시끄럽고 아늑하다. 수건을 제공해주지 않으니 꼭 챙겨가거나 호스텔에서 5위안에 살 수 있다. 물도 편의점이랑 동일한 가격에 팔아서 멀리까지 나가지 않아도 된다. 샤워실 불 킬 수 있으니 어둡게 샤워하지 않기! 숙소 위치 정말 너무 좋다.

MM361364****他家鍋包肉挺好吃，之前在哈爾濱吃過兩次都能掛漿了，他家的孩子説好吃。
環境設施和他家圖片一樣，床單被罩上還有摺痕，應該是新換的（不過我自己也帶了一次性床單）。就是衞生做的不徹底，房間裏的茶杯裏有好多煙頭（上一個住客也挺霍霍人的），衞生間裏的兩個用過的牙刷明晃晃的擺着。
住的第一夜早上被凍醒了，看到房間有空調，就問了下遙控器在哪裡，上來一位有些歲數的大姐，問我有沒有什麼説道，噼裏啪啦和我講了一堆，我都沒怎麼説話，最後她説 如果不願意住可以退房，真的是莫名其妙。這個東西擺到那裡不是讓客人用的嗎？
其他人服務態度還都挺好的，但是這件事讓我很憋氣。不想折騰就沒理她，最後也沒找到遙控器。老闆，你家員工該好好管理一下了，並不是所有租客都是一鎚子買賣。 所以服務給了三分。
房間裏確實有臭味，不是太明顯，大面上看起來也乾淨，不過老闆應該看看邊角旮旯，那個臭味好像東西很長時間變質了才有的。有可能哪個租客吃的東西掉到縫隙裏了，比較隱蔽 所以沒有被發現？
奔着鍋包肉以後還想再去，但是嚇人的大姐還是算了，真的會攆客
