"I really love staying at Longkun Yayuan Hotel, the place is very nice.. even though it's not in the city center but it's close to public transportation, only 15mins walking to the Metro and bus stop is 2mins from the hotel front door..
the lowest type of the room is super big already, 25m2 and it's very cheap.. it'd be hardly to find the room with the same price like this..
hotel room is quite clean, bed sheet is clean, bed is big and comfort..
even thought i found some dust at the corner of the room but overall is clean..
the hotel service is superb!! they are very helpful and very fast response.. even though I can't speak Chinese and their English is limited but they are very willingly to help ☺
btw the hotel is near the river where you can walk and see beautiful trees blooming"

The courtyard has both Thai charm and Chinese simplicity. Living in a century-old alley, staying in the "Orchid" courtyard, watching flowers and listening to the rain, is comfortable and leisurely.
"Comfortable and quaint hotel in a great location. Lots of food right outside hotel, but yet in a quiet and historic hutong area. Bed: comfortable, good pillows. Full marks for the Japanese-style bidet toilets! Hot bath was great for a soak after a long cold day walking outside. Room space was nice. Amenities complete. Breakfast - local options trump western options. Many plant based options including millet and five-grain porridge, hot soy milk, vegetables, pizza, baozi, yuntun. Good value for the price. Suggest to have a closet in the room, or provide more hangers. Love the resident dog and cats!"

They’re also quite small and usually very crowded. Breakfast is limited to only Chinese dishes, most of which are quite spicy, with no other options available. No fruit was provided either, which was disappointing."

"This is a wondeful little guesthouse. We arrived late and in the middle of a thunderstorm and the owner was there waiting for us. Then the location next to the wall is perfect. the view of the wall from the bedroom studie is stunning and It's about a 5 minute walk to the entrance gate. We went early and were able to avoid the crowds.
The room was nice and clean and beds were super comfy! I would recommend staying here if you want to visit the wall"

MM33465****大人孩子都玩兒得特別開心，如果非要評個星級，這家應該打10星～衞生做得特別好，邊邊角角都收拾得很乾凈，一改過去我們對民宿的印象。孩子全程在地上光腳跑來跑去，因為地暖燒得好，一點都不冰腳～屋外又下雪又颳風，屋裡全穿短袖光着腳喝冰可樂真是太舒服了。還能每天下午都來份下午茶送到屋裡，看着長城喝咖啡真是有趣。温泉泡池要用之前都會再給刷一遍，水温很舒適，小朋友玩兒得不想出來不想回家。前台小姐姐和管家大哥人特別好，非常喜歡小朋友，而且熱情好溝通又不過分親切，簡直就是i人的福音。訂之前是老公打電話溝通的，接電話的可能是老闆大哥，很實在地介紹了房間情況，退房後還送了甜甜的蜂蜜。下次如果還想度假泡私湯，這裏絕對是首選了。

DDianaStellarThank Mr Balan and his team. We enjoyed the healing wellness and learned the correct technique of breathing. Thanks Mr Bob Chu taking care of us very well at hotspring. It is better than in Japan and Taiwan. First time we enjoyed outdoor hotspring without getting cold as there was private toilet and heater. Mr Bob provides us towel and water. The team also provide us cake for birthday celebration.
We will definitely come again and refer our friends here.

In Nov is off peak seasons 50%of the shops are closed but they restaurants, gifts shops open. The dye shop is open for you to take pictures but no DIY program. The wine shop is open for you to try the wine and take pictures. If you like you can buy the wine. The basement is the wine storage and wime making area. Because is off peak time you can only take pictures and not view the making of wine.
The hotel give out complimentary hotsprings vouchers and the resort town visitor centre give complimentary tickets for option 1- hanfu dressing, 2- Boat ride
3- foot reflexology
At night there's a water show and Drone showtime. The drone show depends on weather.

因為臨近聖誕到處都有聖誕佈置，民宿裏有兩衹大狗狗超級乖巧，很可愛，拍照也配合，很不錯的體驗

MMarcoPoPo五一假期到處都是人，衹想找個不堵車人少的地方清靜一下，這裏真是一個非常不錯的選擇。京蔚高速出來沒多遠就到了，面對大山，兩個泡池，孩子玩得高興，我也可以躺椅上聽着音樂享受着寧靜。下次再去的話應該帶上燒烤食材，小院免費提供烤爐、木炭和佐料。

MMisafir KullanıcıWe had an amazing staycation at this hotspring resort. I was very impressed with the customer service we recieved. Everyone was incredibly kind and went out of their way to help. The staff has clearly had 5 star training.
I would like to make particular note of Mr. Lee at the front desk. Upon check-in, he served us and acknowledged that not all the staff spoke English and that we should contact him directly over Wechat if we needed anything. On several occassions I contacted him and he was prompt and curtious. He was a great ambassador for the hotel. For example, room service forgot chicken on on salad, and he promptly pologized and arranged for two new compelmentary salads to be sent (i believe this was an oversight as the hotel was very busy with a special chiristmas dinner that night).
It is common in Beijing for hotel staff not to speak English, however we did found several memebers of staff that did. For example. when we went to the dining hall, they sent an English speaker over to help us. Further, the dining hall manager checked in with us and personally cleared plates away. Buffet breakfast was above average with western and chinese food. Also, when ordering room service, though they did not speak English, they sent someone to our room with a menu so that we could point to the items we wanted.
Overall, the hotel is new and to Western standards of cleanliness and quality. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We were with my 2 month old baby and my 85 year old father, all generations enjoyed our time. The hot springs were very clean (not always the case in China) and they were alongside swimming pools with kids climbing apparatice and water ball pit. It was also nice that there were complementary refreshments (snacks and drinks) at the hot springs. In the winter air, the outdoor hotsprings were great.
Finally., though it wasnt a huge attraction, its nice to see the lammas, chicken and horses.
Overall, I could not recommend this place more. I will defintely stay again.

This hotel is near Daxing airport. Cost around 50 to 60 RMB by Didi app. Hotel breakfast has good selections, esp. The 煎饼 is nice. I also like the Chinese 小菜。Service is excellent , esp the waitress 杨丽彤 wo served our table. Good hotel choice for those who want to stay near airport but away from the buzzling city

MMaverick MakStayed 2 nights at the Commune by the Great Wall, an Unbound Collection by Hyatt.
The resort is spread over a big acres of land within the Shuiguan area, also a short proximity to the renowned Badaling Great Wall.
You have to reach there by car or by DiDi as there is no public transport to reach the Commune. This is a resort for those who wish to spend quality time, to seek refuge and to relax.
The resort was designed by 12 individual renowned architects, each reflecting their own taste and styles, clearly demonstrated in the Communal Home you are staying.
Each Communal Home consists of 5-6 rooms where you share common spaces such as Living, Dining, Kitchen and Courtyard with other fellow travellers. You will still have your own room and private bathroom similar to any other hotels or resorts. With the Communal Home, you can access these public area / communal area where often it is under utilised which is great for us.
The room is immaculately adorned with the furniture styles of the Communal Home you have selected. There is Cantilever House (Red House), Terrace House, Suitcase House, Bamboo Wall, Forest House etc.
My Bamboo Wall room is a little small in my opinion. The bedding is on a Tatami Platform. Bathroom is too big and it takes up too much space for the bedroom. There are limited spaces for the suitcase as we travel from afar. There is also no hook for clothing in the bathroom, no hook for the hand towel which is quite strange given that it is quite luxurious.
We bought the package which includes daily breakfast for 2 with Shuiguan Great Wall Ticket and a High Tea.
There is an outdoor swimming pool within the hotel and a gym. The pool is only open for 3 months during the summer months, not sure why the restrictions even though it is not a heated pool. During my visit, day time was hot and the air temperature was around 26-28 degrees. Though the water temperature may be way cooler, but if the pool is opened, we will probably take a dip.
The breakfast is either a la carte or buffet depending on the hotel's occupancy rate. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel as well and the food is very good though it is on the pricey side.
To move around the resort, you will either walk (depending on the location of your accommodation), it can be far away from the restaurant or the reception. You can call them for a car pick up.
The driver 小宋 is a great asset to the property, so as our Housekeeper 小李(李鸿建), he was very attentive and observatory. He saw we have many medicine and supplements in the room and he gave us extra water and left us a note. Great initiative!
In short, it is a very memorable stay and a very good hideaway.

We had an absolutely fantastic time during our recent stay with our baby and 7-year-old—this is hands down the most kid-friendly hotel we've ever experienced! The highlights for families are truly outstanding: an amazing indoor playhouse that's perfect for keeping children entertained (though the flooring could use a refresh for even better safety and comfort), and incredible hot springs that the whole family enjoyed relaxing in.
The location is a big plus, situated close to an amusement park and shopping center, making it easy to pop out for meals, shopping, or extra fun without relying solely on the hotel dining. The on-site food was delicious, and our spacious room felt practical and luxurious, complete with a bathtub offering nice views.
One fun touch was the roaming delivery robot: it added a modern, playful vibe that the kids loved watching.
That said, a few areas could be improved for an even smoother experience. Check-in was unexpectedly crowded, taking around 40 minutes (the longest we've ever waited), so families might want to arrive outside peak times if possible. The in-room bathroom has frosted glass that's a bit too transparent for privacy when sharing with spouse or kids—more opaque partitioning would help. Since the hotel knew we were traveling with a baby and young child, it would have been thoughtful to have a crib ready or bed linens prepared for the sofa bed (we managed fine without, but it would elevate the family-friendly aspect). Additionally, it would be great if the robots could handle deliveries from external orders, even for a small fee.
Overall, this hotel offered excellent value for money and delivered a memorable, enjoyable getaway for our family. We'd highly recommend it to other parents looking for a relaxing yet engaging spot—we'd happily return!
