"Our family of 4 had a wonderful 2 nights stay in mid December. The great service started even prior to our stay as we had 2 personal concierge 小张 & 莹莹 assigned to us. We had requested for connecting rooms via Trip and 小张 & 莹莹 contacted us directly via WeChat. They not only helped us get connecting rooms, they also gave advice and helped to arrange for our luggages to be sent to the hotel while a private driver (additional cost) picked us from the train station to start our tour of Changbaishan immediately so that we do not have to waste time traveling. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful as well. Our room package included 3hr ski tickets and access to the natural hot spring. It was our family’s first time trying to ski and we asked our personal concierge to arrange for private coach (additional cost). Immediately upon arriving at the ski lodge the coach was waiting and led us through the entire chaotic process of collecting and wearing the gears. The hotel has direct unlimited access to the hot spring and it was also a great experience not to be missed (Don’t forget to pack your swim wear!) It even has a fish pool where we dip our whole body. There’s also a Cute Pet Paradise with different animals you can feed. Overall there’s plenty of activities for everyone and we will definitely highly recommend the hotel to everyone coming to Changbaishan."

"Double Tree Hilton is awesome hotel with professional service from the ground staffs. Friendly front desk staffs, attentive housekeeping team Wonderful buffet breakfast and dinner at the ”LUSH” ALL DAY DINING team. Double Tree signature biscuit is always our favorite and thanks for the free Valcano onsen and free ride back and forth to the ski activities. Will definitely stay here again for our further visits"

"Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center — where “eco-exchange” really means exchanging knee joints for enlightenment 🐕🦺❄️ This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream: ✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance ✔️ Hot springs inside the compound ✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴 Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course. The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building. In winter. On ice. With wind that slaps. Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up. To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾 Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc. The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸 Then there’s the hot spring schedule. Opens at 13:30. When the mountain is closed and the hot spring is closed what exactly is an old dog meant to do? Stare into the snow? Question life decisions? Age visibly? Ah yes — write this review. ✔️ ⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly. Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus. At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for. It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs. Trip.com, if you’re listening: no guest should ever be pressured to review. The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative. This old dog is an independent reviewer. I don’t bark on command. I don’t roll over for stars. And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle. Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers. "因為感覺萬達度假區的酒店都比較老舊，非常慶幸自己定了煥森酒店，酒店的一切都非常舒適，工作人員非常專業有耐心，我們定的是三晚套餐，包含了滑雪，冰上活動，雲頂天宮門票，這三天幾乎不用再自己操心，一價全包。更貼心的是他們把活動接送服務也全部包括了，滑雪回來還可以在露天泡温泉，真的非常舒服。酒店的早餐也非常的豐盛，周邊吃喝應有盡有，極力推薦。"

"Hotel provided a fantastic experience. The hotel's strengths are its cleanliness, great breakfast, and excellent amenities. Our room was spotless and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a delicious and impressive variety of hot and cold options to start the day. After being in the cold weather all day, the best part was relaxing in the clean, quiet, and spacious hot springs. Highly recommend!"

"Location: Excellent. Walking distance to Changbaishan North Slope entrance. Hotel has a complementary transfer in the morning too. It is by the Er Dao Bai He River and there is a walking trail leading to En Du Li (恩都里) tourist park where with many shops and food options and a few cultural performances. Staff and Service: Excellent. Everyone was welcoming. In particular I would like to call out 前台/管家的 小余和小王。They are very helpful and follow up on our arrangement for pickup proactively. Transport: Excellent. Complementary pick up from Changbaishan High Speed train station. Our driver, 刘司傅, is very helpful and gave us a warm welcome."

"The Chang Bai Shan hot spring hotel is a great hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to visit! They have public hot spring pools that are clean with great amenities.  Around the hotel there is a ‘walking street’ with a great selection of shops within walking distance of the hotel, with a grocery store, a couple of restaurants and a gift shop."

"房間非常舒適，空間很大很喜歡，沒有異味，不用擔心。 温泉是男女分開的，每天從山上拉下來的山泉水，有35度和42度。每天都可以去泡一泡非常舒服。 服務非常貼心，臨走前準備了伴手禮，知道要早起去漂流管家姐姐會提前準備早餐，隨時都有薑茶和棗茶喝。工作人員們也都非常的熱情❤️🔥 酒店在恩都裏裏麪，旁邊就有一個24小時便利店。如果要出門可以送到景區門口，非常方便，因為離景區門口還是有一小小段距離 因為長白山點外賣都要很久，所以感覺在景區裏住也非常方便，隨時隨地可以買點紀念品，而且便利店很多小飲料，價格也是正常的 總而言之是一個非常不錯的出行選擇！！！"
