"I like this hotel because they provides airport transfers. During our stay there, the rooms was clean and nice. In the toilet there is no bidet tap which I found it a bit inconvenient. However, the morning breakfast was superbly delicious. I prefer the fried rice and the mixed vegetables. It was a spacious dining hall and on that morning I notice so many guests having their breakfast with friends and family."

"I travelled alone and stayed at this hotel for one night, as I had an early flight the next morning. It's located about 25km from the city, but it suited my needs perfectly. The front desk area is spacious, and there's easy access to the rooms via elevators. The hotel offers a 24-hour shuttle service to the airport, which was super convenient. My room was clean, and the bed linens were fresh. I particularly appreciated the separate toilet and shower area, which kept the bathroom floor dry—a thoughtful design! There are also a few food options and convenience stores around, and I was pleasantly surprised to find Halal food available nearby. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay!
酒店靠近机场，住一晚还是挺合适的。周围没有什么可以玩和逛的。
周围有一家不错的烧烤店，还有清真的餐饮选择，旁边还有小型超市和便利店，生活挺方便的。
酒店提供送机场的服务，只需要在入住时提前告知前台，服务很周到。房间整体不错，床单干净整洁。厕所干湿分离，这点我特别喜欢。
让我最满意的就是房间的电插头设计，非常方便使用。附上图片供大家参考。"

"Hotel is right in the street of Kunming Old Street, which will require a few mins walk from drop off point with luggage. Flooring of street is rough so do expect some bumpy ride for your luggage. Very close proximity to major places like Cui Hu, Au Cheng Building and others attractions. As the hotel is converted from old building structure, the noise isolation is not that well and we could hear people shouting and banging next door. Highlighted to the staff and it was swiftly handled with very good service recovery. There was no floor heating so the initial acclimation for us was rather cold. Overall the stay was good with some room for improvement. Service was good nonetheless."

"I had the most amazing time at this hotel. My flight arrived after midnight and I had an early morning flight. "Very highly recommended. Out of the 3 five stars hotels I have stayed in during my trip, this was the best hotel to stay in. Super comfortable, very clean. My mum who is particular in cleanliness remarked that it was very clean and their bathroom glass windows were sparkling, (this was one of the probably the neglected areas that other hotels would missed out but not Double tree Hilton).
Too bad that I only managed to stay in for half a day as I needed to wake up early to head to the airport. But this was a fabulous place to rest and end my trip to Kunming. They provided transport to the airport too and it's about 15 mins ride there. Love it."

"The room was disappointing. It smelled a bit of cigarettes. The window screen for insects was literally held by tape. There were cracks between the wall and other structures (wooden beams, sockets, toilet window). Edges, corners and decorations were not cleaned properly and covered in grimey dust. But the staff were nice."

"A nice hotel with room with modern facilities. Location is just far enough from the noises from the main pedestrian street yet near enough for all amenities. Food options are plentiful nearby and a local morning market nearby as well. Simple chinese breakfast but I was not used to the non heated breakfast room. There are 3 floors at the hotel but no lift. However the female receptionist was so kind to carry one of my heavy luggage upstairs. Hotel undergoing major renovations but no problem. It's already an excellent value for money hotel but once the renovations are completed it'll be more special. Highly recommended."

"We enjoyed our stay here a lot! First we were upgraded from a Queen suite to a King suite when we arrived late at night. Our room was lovely, huge, clean and comfortable. Appreciate the separate desk for journaling, and mini kitchen area, microwave and fridge, with option to request utensils if necessary. Breakfast buffet was a full spread with local and international options, we loved the freshly prepared on request cantonese porridge. We especially want to appreciate the young lady who waited on us at breakfast on 7th, 8th and 9th December morning at the buffet. She was very attentive, pointed out various items we might want to try, and even packed a few rose flower cake for me to take along when I said I liked it. She also gave us ideas of where to go in Kunming, and made our breakfast and stay very special. Kudos to her! We also ordered some online deliveries and the front desk lady on 9th December evening helped to round up our packages (which had been delivered to carpark, guards, etc) with a smile. We will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to our friends!"

JJade 丁玉儿A very nice, clean and well decorated room with a peaceful public courtyard. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They gave us huabing and tea on our last day and allowed us to relax in the coutyard after checkout. The hotel is attached to a very nice mushroom hotpot restuarant. Delicious! Wifi signal drops often, wasnt a problem for me but if you dont have a data plan and want to do some gaming or streaming you'll probably be unable to.

MMisafir KullanıcıWanted a special place for some relaxing time together. Do not want to try the usual hotel in the city. After going through the photos, decided to give it a try. And voila….. absolutely no regrets choosing this hotel. The service provided was top notch, the staff are friendly, courteous and prompt. Housekeeping staff always clean up the villa to a level which I had no way to complain. Always willing to go the extra miles in providing personal services to the guests. The Villa I booked had a private hot spring and a huge garden which had the best view in my opinion. Every evening, we are able to watch the sunset in our private garden. It was really out of this world, couples must definitely try it. Everyday the hotel will provide a fruit basket and top up the bar counter with drinks and snacks at no costs. The ever-friendly staff (Miss Lee) even told me to let her know if there are any fruits I would like, she would arrange to fill it up in the fruit basket. She even check with me a few times if there are anything she could do to improve the stay with the hotel. Kudos to the management team for instilling this high service standard. Miss Lee even contacted me after I check out to ask for my feedback. Keep up the wonderful work. I will definitely be back. For this trip is filled with so much wonderful memories. Thanks to the team.

SSarah from ItalyThis was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend.
Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.

But if you plan to travel around KunMing city, not advisable cause got few times Didi driver did not send us back to correct hotel as there is similar hotel name with this although we choosen correct location.

The hotel and garden are absolutely beautiful. The room itself was very comfortable. There is a self cleaning toilet, a big shower, a comfortable bed, a nice small sitting area and our room also had a private balcony with a beautiful view.
Every morning we were welcomed around the big table with delicious Yunnan coffee and the most delicious home cooked breakfast. The host is an amazing cook. It was a very pleasant surprise every morning.
The location of the hotel is also amazing. In less than 5 minutes walk you reach Chamahua street with many local food options. In less than 10 minutes you can hike in the Xishan scenic area and visit beautiful temples. By metro and taxi you can easily reach the city center.
Also, if you don't speak Chinese like us, it's not a problem. One of the hosts speak a bit if English and everyone was really making an effort to communicate with translation apps.

MMisafir KullanıcıI arrived late and was helped by a friendly man in the reception. The hostel is close to the train station, which was important as I was leaving with an early train. Got a small breakfast to pack with me the next day (included). Fun to sleep in a pod and I slept well, the shower had both shampoo and conditioner, so happy with the amenities. However, the girls room smelled like urin, I couldn’t understand where it came from because it was not from my sheets, the smell was not inside the pod luckily, but somewhere in the room. I might have just been unlucky with the timing, arriving so late as well.

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.

AAcw2005Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.
