"I really enjoyed my short stay here. The night receptionist while couldnt speak English, still helped me with finding a restaurant to eat and gave me a free upgrade.
Their breakfast selection was filling and delicious, only improvement I would recommend is perhaps fresh coffee or tea would be good too.
I love how the moment I walk out, I am able to explore the old Kunming street sights and try local street snacks. The best thing is that it is also located in the center of Kunming city!
Overall, while the room was dated, the comfort level is very high! Lots of power point sockets, even in the bathroom. The mattress was also firm and soft. Had a very good rest that I decided to come back for another nap before I leave.
Upon check out, they even gave me a littel goodie bag, which was perfect as I did not have time to shop for souveniers."

"I like this hotel because they provides airport transfers. During our stay there, the rooms was clean and nice. In the toilet there is no bidet tap which I found it a bit inconvenient. However, the morning breakfast was superbly delicious. I prefer the fried rice and the mixed vegetables. It was a spacious dining hall and on that morning I notice so many guests having their breakfast with friends and family."

The room was clean and polished, however it had a faint smell of cigarettes, the hotel provides an air freshener to combat this. My mom and I managed to do our laundry overnight with the washing machine, detergents, and the dryer provided.
What made our stay there was the level of service from the lovely hotel receptionists! My mom can speak some Mandarin and I was solely relying on translation apps, the staff were very patient and kind to us, provided us with recommendations of markets to visit, and helped us familiarise ourselves with the WeChat/Alipay mechanisms.
Would definitely recommend this hotel to other tourists, local and international!!!"

"The staff members were very good and patient in communicating with us, even though we are not fluent in Chinese. I received nice complementary when checked out. They were professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
The hotel is also conveniently located near shopping malls such as Parkson and Shun Cheng Shopping Mall. The breakfast was also good as well.
However, there are two minor issues:
1) The Wi-Fi needs improvement, so please make sure to have roaming or an eSIM ready.
2) The hotel is not easy to find for first-time visitors. I suggest adding signage from the drop-off point to the hotel entrance. I’ve attached a picture showing the way to the hotel—hopefully, it will help others."

"The owner is very friendly. She came to fetch us when we were not able to find the apartment. In the morning, the husband of the owner personally came to wake us up to go to bring us to the airport at the cost of 30 rmb per person. Our stay is short as we only take a few hours of rest before heading to the airport but we can see there were many eating places downstairs on our way there."

The front desk area is spacious, and there's easy access to the rooms via elevators. The hotel offers a 24-hour shuttle service to the airport, which was super convenient. My room was clean, and the bed linens were fresh. I particularly appreciated the separate toilet and shower area, which kept the bathroom floor dry—a thoughtful design! There are also a few food options and convenience stores around, and I was pleasantly surprised to find Halal food available nearby. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay!

周围有一家不错的烧烤店，还有清真的餐饮选择，旁边还有小型超市和便利店，生活挺方便的。
酒店提供送机场的服务，只需要在入住时提前告知前台，服务很周到。房间整体不错，床单干净整洁。厕所干湿分离，这点我特别喜欢。

Fantastic location right on Nanping Street with famous food places and shopping malls right within walking distance - there was hardly a need to go anywhere else except for day trips to Dianchi Lake and the Stone Forest. Service was excellent - the staff were very responsive on chat. The laundry service was an added bonus as was the presence of the 3 lovely resident cats.

FfalarahSuch a clean hotel and it was in such a cute location, among the residential area! Room was spacious and so clean! The shower facilities were amazing and i appreciate the bidet!!!
But i would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the manager/hotel owner. My apologies we don’t catch your name but thank you for making our stay wonderful even though we were there only for a short while! Thank you for preparing warm water for us while we waited for our Didi and going outside to get the Didi to us! We appreciate you so much! We had a wonderful visit even though we had to check out early for our flight! SSarah from ItalyThis was by far the BEST accommodation we stayed in China!! We booked two rooms because I'm travelling with my sister and her boyfriend.
Both rooms were extremely clean, the best comfortable beds ever, hot shower, air con, all the toiletries were good quality and the staff were amazing!!!!
They helped us out with everything!! Even though they don't speak English or any other language (like elsewhere in China), they were extremely helpful and we managed to communicate with the translator.
We stayed two nights but we would have loved to stay longer which was not possible because visa's expiring soon.
When we got there, they made us delicious noodles with beef and vegetables and my brother in law is still dreaming to get the same tasty noodles somewhere else in China 😊
We don't know the names of the hosts, maybe they are wife and husband (we are not sure) but surely this was the top accommodation and treatment we have received in China so we would like to thank you two again for everything you have done for us. We are sure your next guests will enjoy their stay at your place just the same as we did.

酒店園林環境真的太棒了，沿着石板小徑漫步，四周綠樹成蔭，各種熱帶植物錯落有致，處處都是景。我入住的是彩雲軒單卧温泉別墅，私密性很好，最驚喜的是別墅自帶泡池！清晨、傍晚泡個温泉，聽着鳥鳴，聞着花香，水波映着樹影，這種親近自然的感覺太治癒了。
工作人員的服務也特別貼心，從入住引導到日常問候都讓人如沐春風，能感受到酒店每位工作人員的真誠和熱情。
早餐出品很精緻，尤其是那碗地道的米線，搭配特色醬料，放在藍色餐墊上顯得格外有食慾，開啟元氣滿滿的一天。
整體來説，這裏將自然景觀與度假體驗完美融合，是放鬆身心的理想選擇，強烈推薦！

The hosts at Elegant were super nice and mailed the key card for me that day for just 12 yuan. The place is clean and will only be improved over time. Great wifi and hot showers. Bathrooms can be a little stinky and while the location is great for the train station, it's a bit far from some of Kunming's main attractions.

AAcw2005Great location that it is near a lot of food places, a store, and the Stone Forest. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.

LLidusGreat location, look for the yellow boards and you will find it easily. The room items are little bit used but all is all right and clean. I would not recommend to stay during cold nights - the room doesnt have AC. I was staying in room 207 and i heard all noise from stairs, even just walking and also people in room 206 were awake and screaming whole night so be aware of that.
