"The host was very polite and extremely helpful. We asked about halal food nearby and she kindly guided us to a Muslim area. Thanks to her, we discovered a hidden gem of a Muslim village with plenty of halal food options and even a mosque.
The room was spacious, with a relaxing swing, a bathtub overlooking the city, and a fun sliding and play area for kids — very comfortable for families.
Don’t hesitate to stay here! There are many attractions nearby, and spending the night around this area was very convenient and enjoyable for us. Highly recommended!"

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel, especially the beautifully preserved ancient architecture, which gave the place a unique charm and character. The room was thoughtfully furnished with a wonderful colour scheme, and every detail—from the lighting to the overall layout—was well designed and comfortable.
Cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and they kindly showed us the room with the bathtub, which immediately confirmed our decision to extend our stay for another night.
We also loved spending time in the courtyard and appreciating the landscaping, which added to the calm and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this boutique hotel perfectly met our needs for relaxation and for appreciating traditional architecture and courtyard design."

"We had a wonderful stay at 18 Degrees Smart Hotel! The room was stylish, modern, and very spacious. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of choices to suit every taste. We especially appreciated the free coffee machine in the lobby – such a nice touch for guests.
The absolute highlight was the staff. Since we don’t have a Chinese phone number, we couldn’t order delivery to our room, but they kindly helped us place the order to the hotel. Communication through WeChat with the translator worked perfectly, and they went above and beyond to assist us.
The only downside was the elevators – they were very busy, and with two out of order during our stay, the waiting times were quite long, which was a bit inconvenient.
Overall, highly recommended for anyone visiting Kunming!"

"Despite none of the staff speaking English at all, they went above and beyond to assist and were very kind and helpful. The only reason I stayed was due to their effort and kindness.
The new name is Better Dreams and I suspect previous reviews were for the ”Petal Cloud” hotel.
The hotel was a mixed bag: brand new room with modern facilities, but it had been smoked in and an ashtray sat right underneath the no-smoking sign. The window was very small so it had no view and was difficult to air out.
The breakfast is only Chinese, but was serviceable.
Apart from serving breakfast, the restaurant does not serve any kind of food so one needs to find it at a nearby mall. The hotel is on the upper floors of a residential apartment complex and it takes just over an hour ti get into the old part of Kunming. I thought it was close to the train station I needed, but it turns out it was the wrong station."

"This hotel definitely captured my heart. The staffs are really helpful, especially when I had issue with Taobao parcels. They went all the way to give the delivery team a call and gave me a solution.
10/10 for the services from the staffs. Gentle and soft spoken.
It’s located on the 29 and the 30th floor. When u see the logo of the building just take the last and second last lift , and press level 29.
There’s also laundry room where u can iron your clothes.
There’s children room as well, next to the dining area.
Location it’s close to center and shopping malls.
I’d definitely recommend friends to try this place. 😊"

TTee RayyJust needed a place to crash for a few hours before my early flight. I didn't have a net as my phone didn't support esim so I took a risk. Landed late at Kunming airport, a young Chinese lady helped me to phone the hotel to arrange airport pick up. The hotel understood the assignment, and my photo was sent to the hotel and ws forwarded to the driver. I was picked up from the suggested spot and got dropped at the hotel. Everything went so smoothly I still can't believe it. The hotel has a huge chinnes signage, which i assumed was the hotel name. Very tiny name in English, so be aware that if you can't read chineese, you may miss it. So, check-in was quite stressful as the receptionist took a longer time inquiring about my travel itinerary than the immigration officer at the airport. She asked me several times when I first entered china flipping through my passport for my past chineese entry visa. Ultimately, she had to call her male colleague from the office. After a long conversation between them, by then, I was about to collapse with exhaustion, and my patience was about to run out, I was handed the room key..phew. The receptionist was polite throughout. She also arranged an airport shuttle for the morning. The room was spacious and clean, linen was crisp, and ac was strong. There were complementary tea bags and two bottles of water. Lovely toiletries. Check out was smooth, airport shuttle was ready, reception even made take away breakfast which wasn't expected. I would definitely stay, and you all should not hesitate to book this hotel if you need a hotel near the airport.By the airport shuttle is complimentary too.

AAineeeeeWe are happy with our stay. It is very near the GREEN PARK. Just in front of the hotel. They even have a washer and dryer. Just minus point is the room is small and dark. Not suitable for family. But the front desk have informed us about the room is small but we did not expect it to be really cramp and so dim😆 because it mentions 2 bed. But its really a great hotel to stay. The staff is nice and helpful. The bed is comfy. I really recommended it for couples and solo traveller. If you want to go to the old town, take a didi. Its only 5-10 minuted by car.

MMuszsWill start woth the positives. Amazing location, most of the staff were very kind and helpful, the gardens are fantastic and the play area is great when waiting between outings, the room was spacious enough for a family of 4.
Unfortunately the hotel left a sour taste though. During checking the reception staff decided to stop communication in English and instead to speak chinese to my partner although she had nothing to do with the trip organising and proceeded to ignore my questions until my wife asked again in chinese. We were not told any of the usual check in information such as WiFi, breakfast times, facilities, etc.
Our room wasn't ready at 2:30pm as the previous tenants just checked out, told to wait 40 minutes. Waited an hour and a half, no check ups, no apology.
We tried to get a late lunch at the market (all day dining) it is infact not all day, it's only breakfast and dinner.
We got to the room, it had ***** hair and blood in the toilet. Broken electrical outlet with the facade falling off (very dangerous for a family room) and water damage on the wall. The cleaners did do an amazing job in the following days.
Breakfast and dinner and the market had undercooked meat causing myself and my wife to get food poisoning and spend the next 24 hours stuck in the room being sick.
The children's play areas floor it broken with no warning and my child tripped and hurt her self.
We have stayed at many intercontinental hotels and not experienced staff this before, especially from receptionist. Luckily the rest of the staff were amazing and the general facilities were ok. We hope it was just a bad day for them and we will be staying at intercontinental again for the next leg of our trip in xishuangbanna.

酒店園林環境真的太棒了，沿着石板小徑漫步，四周綠樹成蔭，各種熱帶植物錯落有致，處處都是景。我入住的是彩雲軒單卧温泉別墅，私密性很好，最驚喜的是別墅自帶泡池！清晨、傍晚泡個温泉，聽着鳥鳴，聞着花香，水波映着樹影，這種親近自然的感覺太治癒了。
工作人員的服務也特別貼心，從入住引導到日常問候都讓人如沐春風，能感受到酒店每位工作人員的真誠和熱情。
早餐出品很精緻，尤其是那碗地道的米線，搭配特色醬料，放在藍色餐墊上顯得格外有食慾，開啟元氣滿滿的一天。
整體來説，這裏將自然景觀與度假體驗完美融合，是放鬆身心的理想選擇，強烈推薦！

FFirman LOne thing I like about this hotel is that it is not crowded with people, front desk is very responsive and they try their utmost best to please their guests.
Had a restful sleep and pleased that I was able to get hot showers. Didn't try their breakfast at their level 9 restaurant as they mentioned only certain days they have halal breakfast.
No in room fridge but there are convenience stores nearby, at night there are fruit sellers along the road. There is a hospital nearby and a police post. Pharmacy nearby and quite please with the area.
Even though there are No Smoking Signs, other guest do smoke in the hotel. And low season means there are fewer guest so, lesser smokers there, which I am happy about.
They have self service laundry room with one washer and a separate dryer. Quite happy with that too.
Thank you front desk ladies for your service and for the breakfast packs given to us for our departure to the airport. Apologies for not able to take the airport transfer due to my Mother in Law's knees. Hope to see you all soon!

The pickup service was free - after arriving at the airport, I called the hotel (via Trip.com internet call) and they gave me the driver’s WeChat to facilitate the pickup. The driver arrived within 20 min and sent us straight from the airport carpark to the hotel.
The hotel was reasonably clean for a night’s stay and everything worked well! The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The next morning we took a taxi to the train station, which took about 45 minutes. Overall an extremely convenient stay for those looking for a hotel near the airport!

The location is unbeatable, situated close to numerous tourist attractions and right in the heart of the city. What’s even more convenient is that it’s adjacent to a subway station, making it incredibly easy to get around.
The staff were all very friendly, cheerful, and always willing to help with anything I needed. A special mention goes to Da Er, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their professionalism and warm attitude made my experience even better.
Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for great service, a prime location, and convenience. Highly recommended!

We arrived very late after midnight, but the staff kindly waited for us and even walked out to welcome us when we arrived. We were quite hungry at that time, and the staff thoughtfully helped us by providing hot water for our cup noodles and even bringing it up to our room. It was such a small but very touching gesture that we truly appreciated.
Communication was never a problem because the staff tried their best to use translation apps to communicate with us. Their effort and friendliness made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay.
Everyone at the hotel was lovely. The chef who prepared our breakfast was also very kind, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is also in a great location where many things are within walking distance, which made it very convenient to explore the area.
Thank you again to the whole team for making our stay so pleasant and memorable.
