"I booked the room with window, but I only can see the wall of another building through the window😓. It’s a bit noisy when other travellers back to their rooms at the midnight. The hotel can state the most convenient location for people get off from Didi and how they can reach to the hotel (瑞幸咖啡-柏聯廣場）. It will be about 240m walk straight away from the cafe to the hotel."

"The Huarong was perfect for our first and last stays on our Yunnan family adventure. It's not in a city central location, but it is just next to a big modern mall with all the food options and shops you need to orientate yourself if this is your first visit to China. The rooms are super spacious with views over the neon lit surroundings. The kids room had a ball pool and slide that our children were super happy with. The staff were very responsive to any and all of our requests. The nearest metro station is just a walk over the road and it was easy to book Didi taxis to get to other locations. A very good price for well appointed rooms."

"I had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. The staff was very helpful. My room had a slight problem with the shower on the second day but the staff were able to solve it quickly. The location is a little bit far from Kunming Old Street and commercial areas, but it worked out alright for me. The staff had kindly informed me that there might be noise from the nearby KTV at night and offered a different room on a higher floor if that was a problem for me, but I wanted a room specifically with a bathtub so I stayed on the 5th floor. There was a little bit of noise on my second night but the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs in the room, though the noise wasn’t loud enough for me to need them. The bathtub was amazing and the room was overall a great value for the money!"

"One of the best hotels in Kunming. The room is big and we also got a free upgrade. All the staff at the front desk are very nice, friendly and helpful, especially, 漫漫，who is very professional and helpful. Though the hotel is not located in the center of the city, but it’s very easy to get a DiDi to go anywhere in the city for about 10 minutes. I like the hotel and would recommend to my friends who are coming to here. I would stay here again if I am coming back."

"This is a normal budget hotel suitable for solo traveller, families and also a couple. The hotel located next to main road. Need to walk few hundred metres to reach the Metro station. So that was considered okay.
My trip was on winter. So im frustrated that the heater is not working at all. Im freaking cold the whole night. But the water heater works fine. Other than that, i think everything is just okay. Dont expect too much. It suits the price."

"Amazing. Its location is very convenient for traveling to key sightseeing areas in the city, also it’s a ten minute walk away from a great coffee scene area. The room was immaculate! I felt so comfortable here. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was good. Close to metro station and local food places. I would absolutely hear again if I come back to Kunming. Excellent! Also please note that the photos I share are of the room after I’ve been living in it two days already so is there is water on the counter or the bed isn’t nearly made that is all my fault. As I said, this is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. I highly recommend here! Mostly Chinese style breakfast but does have some bread and fruit too."

"Despite none of the staff speaking English at all, they went above and beyond to assist and were very kind and helpful. The only reason I stayed was due to their effort and kindness.
The new name is Better Dreams and I suspect previous reviews were for the ”Petal Cloud” hotel.
The hotel was a mixed bag: brand new room with modern facilities, but it had been smoked in and an ashtray sat right underneath the no-smoking sign. The window was very small so it had no view and was difficult to air out.
The breakfast is only Chinese, but was serviceable.
Apart from serving breakfast, the restaurant does not serve any kind of food so one needs to find it at a nearby mall. The hotel is on the upper floors of a residential apartment complex and it takes just over an hour ti get into the old part of Kunming. I thought it was close to the train station I needed, but it turns out it was the wrong station."

"Booked a family room for 3 adults, got a loft with 2 queen size bed. Room is clean and bed comfortable. Amenities fully equipped. Comfortable stay.
Choices available for set breakfast. Overall value for money. Just across Nanping street, and available local food all near the hotel. Very convenient and highly recommended. As hotel is near old town, cars can't drive up to the hotel, so do contact hotel ahead of time so they can direct you where your driver can stop the car and they will come out to help you with your luggages, just less than 2 min."

AAnonim KullanıcıExcellent stay at the Intercontinental in Kunming. The location is near the lake and a bit further out from the city centre but taxis are convenient. Very good value with spacious and clean rooms. It's a very big hotel with great facilities, including an indoor pool, 24h gym, large garden, bar and restaurants. Service was fantastic throughout our stay, and the front desk (Xiao Fu) helped with various queries promptly and also upgraded our room at check-in. Highly recommended.

MMisafir KullanıcıWanted a special place for some relaxing time together. Do not want to try the usual hotel in the city. After going through the photos, decided to give it a try. And voila….. absolutely no regrets choosing this hotel. The service provided was top notch, the staff are friendly, courteous and prompt. Housekeeping staff always clean up the villa to a level which I had no way to complain. Always willing to go the extra miles in providing personal services to the guests. The Villa I booked had a private hot spring and a huge garden which had the best view in my opinion. Every evening, we are able to watch the sunset in our private garden. It was really out of this world, couples must definitely try it. Everyday the hotel will provide a fruit basket and top up the bar counter with drinks and snacks at no costs. The ever-friendly staff (Miss Lee) even told me to let her know if there are any fruits I would like, she would arrange to fill it up in the fruit basket. She even check with me a few times if there are anything she could do to improve the stay with the hotel. Kudos to the management team for instilling this high service standard. Miss Lee even contacted me after I check out to ask for my feedback. Keep up the wonderful work. I will definitely be back. For this trip is filled with so much wonderful memories. Thanks to the team.

we have landed airport midnight 2.30am , we call to hotel and ask for hotel pick up . They arrived within 15 min after my call without allowed me to wait long time in front of airport at midnight
we are very happy and thankful for the fast action , 100 mark to driver although there are only 2 of us.
2nd days morning when we check out from hotel , where receptionist aware i having booking problem on using my Wechat pay for Didi (taxi booking) , she willing to book for me without doubt.
I feel so warm for her help for my China trip this years.

MMisafir KullanıcıThis hotel locates at one of the best location in Kunming. Right across the street, there's a beautiful lake called Emerald Lake (Cui Hu). There are a lot of seagulls in the winter and is a major attraction.
My room has a view of the lake, and I could have a cup of coffee under the sunshine watching the lake and the people exercising or just having fun near the lake. Unfortunately I arranged too many sightseeing activities for this trip that I didn't have a chance for that.
The staff here are wonderful: friendly, courteous, and resourceful, and answered all my questions as quickly as possible. The breakfast provided with my booking is wonderful as well. There are Western-styled food (continental breakfast), Chinese food, and local delicacies. I thoroughly enjoyed the local food.

Ppinkumeko69Stayed here for a night for our flight home the following day. It was clean and the mountain view was very pleasant. The garden was enchanting and beautiful and I particularly love the roses.The breakfast was nice at an affordable price. The lady chef was exceptionally friendly too. The hotel manager was very friendly and allowed us to pick their apples at their garden.The only thing lacking was the amenities. Not easy to find a decent place to shop in our spare time. Highly recommended!👍

FFirman LOne thing I like about this hotel is that it is not crowded with people, front desk is very responsive and they try their utmost best to please their guests.
Had a restful sleep and pleased that I was able to get hot showers. Didn't try their breakfast at their level 9 restaurant as they mentioned only certain days they have halal breakfast.
No in room fridge but there are convenience stores nearby, at night there are fruit sellers along the road. There is a hospital nearby and a police post. Pharmacy nearby and quite please with the area.
Even though there are No Smoking Signs, other guest do smoke in the hotel. And low season means there are fewer guest so, lesser smokers there, which I am happy about.
They have self service laundry room with one washer and a separate dryer. Quite happy with that too.
Thank you front desk ladies for your service and for the breakfast packs given to us for our departure to the airport. Apologies for not able to take the airport transfer due to my Mother in Law's knees. Hope to see you all soon!

The location is unbeatable, situated close to numerous tourist attractions and right in the heart of the city. What’s even more convenient is that it’s adjacent to a subway station, making it incredibly easy to get around.
The staff were all very friendly, cheerful, and always willing to help with anything I needed. A special mention goes to Da Er, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their professionalism and warm attitude made my experience even better.
Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for great service, a prime location, and convenience. Highly recommended!
