"The Huarong was perfect for our first and last stays on our Yunnan family adventure. It's not in a city central location, but it is just next to a big modern mall with all the food options and shops you need to orientate yourself if this is your first visit to China. The rooms are super spacious with views over the neon lit surroundings. The kids room had a ball pool and slide that our children were super happy with. The staff were very responsive to any and all of our requests. The nearest metro station is just a walk over the road and it was easy to book Didi taxis to get to other locations. A very good price for well appointed rooms."

"We had a wonderful stay at Babymoon Hotel. The service was excellent—staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help, which made our stay very comfortable. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and felt very cozy, giving us great peace of mind. The hotel’s strategic location made it easy to get around and access nearby attractions. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety, fresh food, and pleasant presentation. Overall, it was a relaxing and satisfying stay, and we would definitely recommend Babymoon Hotel to others."

"We had an excellent stay at Kai Wah, with a few instances really worth mentioning. Firstly, we had a super early flight and reached the hotel at 5plus in the morning. We checked in and wonder if we are able to check in for the stay at such early hours. Without needing to ask, the service staff immediately arranged a room for us to check in, even though the typical check in time is 2pm onwards. They understood that we were tired from the flight and quickly make arrangements so that we can get some rest. This is an exceptional service that illustrates understanding and care for their customers. Secondly, upon checking into the room, we observed that the toilet bowl was a little dirty and called the reception. Immediately, a service staff named 李星Jeff Li, came to our room and made arrangements to offer us a free upgrade to a suite. However, as we prefer a room that is not situated at the corner, we declined. He then made other arrangements on the spot and offered us another room. He even helped us to transfer the luggages. We needed some advice for the trip and he willingly and patiently offered us advice and assistance. His friendliness and patience with us really made our stay very pleasant. His professionalism and care for his guests are commendable. Finally, when we checked out, the service staff also warmly helped us with the didi booking to the right place. My mum was even given a scarf as little present, which really made her day. Breakfast was really good, huge variety and quality was good too. Suggest to include breakfast in your booking."

"Good to stay, near many bus stops and metro so you can commute to every other tourist spots in the city. We got 2 bottles of water everday per room. And the staff actively clean our rooms every morning. The facility is old but okay for one who just wants to stay for sleep."

"Our family of 2 adults and 2 children stayed at Jiangye for 3 nights and we concluded that it was the best accommodation amongst all that we stayed throughout our 2-week Yunnan vacation. We stayed at the loft room - room was spacious and very comfortable to stay in. Staff was very kind to let us stay in their biggest loft room with king beds. Laundry room (equipped with 4 clean washing machines and a drying room) was right opposite our room, making it very convenient for us to do our daily laundry. Breakfast was buffet style, with sufficient variety. On top of the breakfast that was already part of the room rates, we were very pleasantly surprised to be offered a daily homecooked meal, consisting of 2 mains, 2 veg and 1 soup, with dishes for us to choose from. Location was excellent, right opposite 大观景公园，staff even gave us bread to feed the seagulls. Staff were polite and prompt to requests. All in all an excellent stay and we will definitely be back again."

"We truly enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel, especially the beautifully preserved ancient architecture, which gave the place a unique charm and character. The room was thoughtfully furnished with a wonderful colour scheme, and every detail—from the lighting to the overall layout—was well designed and comfortable. Cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and they kindly showed us the room with the bathtub, which immediately confirmed our decision to extend our stay for another night. We also loved spending time in the courtyard and appreciating the landscaping, which added to the calm and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this boutique hotel perfectly met our needs for relaxation and for appreciating traditional architecture and courtyard design."

"I highly recommend my Muslim friends to stay at this hotel. Because this hotel has a bidet✨🥰 I feel like i just got jackpot to find this beautiful hotel in the heart of Nanping Pedestrian Street. The room also very warm & cosy yet so clean. The decorations very beautiful. Got so many halal restaurant/food nearby. Just walking distance.Smooth check in & check out procedures. No problem at all check in late at night. The staff also very friendly. I love my stay here, totally recommended ❤️✨🥰"

"We had a wonderful stay at 18 Degrees Smart Hotel! The room was stylish, modern, and very spacious. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of choices to suit every taste. We especially appreciated the free coffee machine in the lobby – such a nice touch for guests. The absolute highlight was the staff. Since we don’t have a Chinese phone number, we couldn’t order delivery to our room, but they kindly helped us place the order to the hotel. Communication through WeChat with the translator worked perfectly, and they went above and beyond to assist us. The only downside was the elevators – they were very busy, and with two out of order during our stay, the waiting times were quite long, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, highly recommended for anyone visiting Kunming!"

"My review au seem low but there are reasons. The good: The front desk staff and those in the restaurant are very nice and helpful. Really enjoyed dealing with them. The pool is great, albeit a little cold in warmer weather it must be fantastic. The bar drink prices are very expensive for China. They are high European prices. Downstairs however is a nice bar with great staff and better prices. The room is GREAT. Absolutely great. The bad: Finding the hotel is a NIGHTMARE. They seem to have 2 different names or something - it’s next to the shop in a sort of tunnel entrance with lighting so dim you *will* walk into the automatic door your first time. The cleanliness of the room could have been better. They need to put 25% more effort into improving the shower area and also overall monthtly cleaning being more thorough. Should you stay here? If it’s in your budget I would recommend it yes."
