"This place is awesome beautiful, filled with chinese architectual beauty. This hotel staff are so efficient, friendly, and speaks good english! They are very helpful and attentive to my needs. Even when i was walking lost, they bring me to the right place for breakfaat, they bring my grab food 1 item after another to my room. I am so appreciative of them. Room is super comfy except a little small. It had a great cafe there in hotel servibg great coffee which i find cafes are lacking in Chengdu. I highly recommend this place. And its in great location too. I enjoy the proximately to great foods and Wenshu monastry."

"Hotel is well positioned in the centre of Chengdu, not far from a Metro station and shopping districts. Staff were all very friendly , and the breakfast had good selection of Chinese and western cuisine. The room itself was comfortable and clean, though decor a little dated. The hot water was not too hot on the first night we checked in (maybe too late at night), but better the second night."

"環境：酒店是新物業，新裝修的，整體裝修風格以藍色，橙色、灰色為基調，整體比較有活力，區別於傳統中高端品牌。 設施：屬於正常標準配套，符合定位。 衞生：由於是新裝修，還有些細節不夠好，希望這一點趕緊解決，但反觀這些細節能看出來是新裝修的😂。 服務：我覺得能夠5星，最關鍵的是前台人員。前台人員非常積極，我覺得從處理上還是不錯，贈送了歡迎水果和伴手禮，雖然這是其他酒店也會的，但是他們的態度和真誠可圈可點，在酒店開業不久，不僅是衞生問題，更是給前廳一個考驗，前台人員確實不錯，管理層應該給予他們更多支持。 總而言之，酒店工程上OK的，也許是想年前開業，有些細節需要加強，但是也不錯，比較安靜。前台響應也及時，忘記是什麼名字了，男女前台都不錯，希望越來越好。"

"The hotel is highly recommended. It's luxurious and the staff are super friendly and helpful. A big shout to Mia/Elaine who helped us with the checkin. Its location is also perfect. Very close to the walking street Chunxi Road, 10 min walk to IFS and Taiku Li. We loved the vibes there. The hotel also gave us free bus tickets to the Panda Base. We will definitely stay here again."

"Good value for this hotel. Everything was generally fine. However, there was a bad sewage smell from the bathroom which isn't too bad except the cleaner left the door open so the whole room smelled bad. Also, there was only one washing machine for the whole hotel and there was always a queue so I never managed to do my laundry. I think this hotel must of had it's heyday in the 90s so now it's a bit dated but for the price I paid it was fine."

"Great hospitality and homey welcome by the staff. We arrived very early in the morning due to our flight. Since we are on Horizon floor and was unable to check-in to our room then, the staff let us wait in the club lounge while waiting for our rooms to be ready. We have a decent breakfast and managed to check-in around 11:00am in the morning. The location of the hotel is great and surrounded with nice cafes. However, although the property is generally well maintained, the hotel may need some refurbishment."

"I recently stayed at the Mehood Elegant Hotel in Chengdu and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. Check-in was smooth and friendly, and to our delight, we were offered a complimentary room upgrade. This was such a pleasant surprise and really set the tone for the rest of our stay. The upgraded room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable with fresh, high-quality linens, and the bathroom felt modern and well-equipped. I especially appreciated the little details – smart lighting, plenty of outlets including USB and Type-C, and excellent sound insulation, which made it easy to rest at night. The view from our room was also stunning, especially in the evening. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better. It’s within easy walking distance of the Wenshu Temple and close to Chunxi Road, which is perfect for shopping, dining, and exploring the city. Metro stations are nearby as well, making it very convenient to get around Chengdu. Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet offered a wide variety of both local and international dishes, all fresh and delicious. Throughout our stay, the service stood out. The staff were professional, attentive, and always ready to help, whether it was providing extra water bottles, recommending places to eat, or just greeting us with a smile. It really made the experience feel five-star. Also they had clothing washing service which was really helpful. If I had to mention small downsides, the elevators could be a bit slow during peak times, and occasionally you could hear noises from the hallway, but neither of these things affected our overall comfort. All in all, the Mehood Elegant Hotel exceeded my expectations. The combination of elegant design, great location, excellent service, and the generous room upgrade made our stay truly memorable. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu and would definitely stay here again."

"By western hotel standards, this is a 3* hotel, despite the reviews. Rooms are spacious but need a renovation. Water is not potable; a sign in the bathroom says so. No smoking on non-smoking floors isn't heeded. English is spoken little by staff, which makes it more difficult for foreign guests."

"Heard about this hotel through a friend and overall it’s a comfortable stay. Stay: Good in-room amenities where you can enjoy tea and drinks in the fridge. They also clean the room everyday. Service: The kind staff will greet us and help us with our Taobao package. Some small moments includes providing their homemade herbal cream when i got mosquito bites. Coffee: Their coffee is really nice too and with the stay value to have free coffee every morning is a nice touch (we did not get room with breakfast) Environment: We usually DiDi to all the sight seeing area and there’s food near the corner and local convenience stall so necessity is within reach Can be improved: The hotel’s main air conditional system was affected due to the rainfall in chengdu and our room got abit hot for the last 2 nights. We got in touch with the staff and they are super attentive and even tried their best to handle the situation by getting electrical staff to fix it. It was a mixed emotion as one point I do appreciate their attentiveness while on the other end I do feel that it disrupted the comfort in the last 2 days. But all is well because we do understand these things happen. Just to give context we decided to on the aircon at 28 degrees and have the window open so there’s cooler air coming in which you’ll still sleep well given all the shopping haha! Overall, i’ll still recommend this hotel."
