"Konaklama çok iyi yapılmış. Kolay erişim, Chuanxi Yolu İstasyonu'ndan E1 çıkışından çıkın ve Malai yolunun karşısına doğru düz yürüyün. Düz yürümeye devam edin. İncelemeye göre sol tarafta küçük bir bahçe göreceksiniz, oradan sağa dönün. Alt katta bir meyve dükkanı olacak. Yukarı çıkın ve 3. kattaki daireye giriş yapın. Odanın pek iyi olmadığını düşünüyoruz. Küf kokusu vardı ama yatak ve battaniye iyiydi. Yumuşak ve uyumak için rahattı."

"The staff here are friendly and helpful. I had a room and it was fine. It looked onto the street and there was quite a lot of noise which I didn’t mind. But it would be nice if they had a thin white curtain to let the light in as it is not very private to the street.  The room was clean but when I dropped something under the small drawers retreaving it showed a lot of dust. The toilets on the 2nd floor smelt so bad that I used the ones on the 3 rd floor. This is a hostel and I do not expect much and it’s not bad but there is certainly room for improvement.  I did really like the location near the river and the monastery. Eat at the monastery, the food is amazing 👌"

"Very nice location. It's 2 mins walk to Chunxi Rd. which is a huge shopping center. There's also an authentic local resto nearby alley and also fresh fruit, hotpot and noodles places. The hostel ambience lack some vibrance but that's maybe because I visited during off-season. Would recommend to anyone travelling alone!"

"I booked a 10-person female dorm but was upgraded in an 8-person dorm instead. Honestly, it turned out to be really good and comfortable. Before coming, I was a bit worried about the toilet, but it was surprisingly clean also they’re clean it every day. Plus point is the toilet even had a bidet hehe. The reception staff were very nice and helpful. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the building was easy to navigate. The location is also excellent very walkable and close to many famous places in Chengdu city. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended."

"位置就在王府井百貨後面，交通非常便利，這是第三次來成都，主要為了看張傑演唱會。我定的是帶獨衞的四人間備註受傷需要下鋪，店家特意給我單獨開了一間房，環境很不錯，乾淨衞生。特別謝謝店家讓我一人獨享一間房。演唱會回來在房間哭不至於那麼狼狽，哈哈哈哈，這次太圓滿啦，還收到了獨屬於我的飯撒，嗚嗚嗚，成都太好吃啦，下次張傑回來，我還會再來成都的，店家完記得我哦，哈哈哈哈哈。"

"The hostel was clean, tidy, and smelled nice, which I really appreciated. The downsides were the lack of a mirror in the room, no makeup room, and luggage storage was not free. I also received a message asking me to copy and paste a 5-star review from another platform, which felt a bit unusual. Overall, it was still a decent stay, especially in terms of cleanliness."

"(For context, I was a black female solo traveller) Location On a long street with many restaurants and shops along the street and a self service ATM 5 -10 min walk away, including a small market in the mornings. It is a residential area, so you will most likely be the only foreigner, but people are extremely friendly and helpful, albeit the stares. The entrance faced the main road and was well lit. There is a flight of stairs that you will need to go up to get to the hostel area. If you have not tried hot pot, I would def recommend going to the Haichiniu Xianxianqie Beef Self service Hot Pot place which is around 5 mins walk down the road. Quite far from the centre of the city however it is extremely easy to get to. During the day, there is a close proximity to the underground around 10 min walk, and there is a bus that I took from the city centre to right outside the hostel door where the bus stop was. If you are going through the night/early morning, it is extremely easy to catch a taxi through apps and it is quite cheap (around 40- 70 yen) and the road is very well lit. I felt completely safe in the area. Service Chu, the hostel aunty is warm and helpful, and gives you a sense of being home away from home. This included being made some home made dumplings to celebrate Golden Week which tasted delicious! She gave recommendations on places to go and made sure that I kept safe when out. As another review said, it can be a bit difficult communicating if you don't know Chinese as no English at the hostel or around the area is spoken and it can get quite draining/ mentally challenging at times for us, however Chu still tried her best to communicate regardless and I really appreciated the effort. To get around this and to make your stay more enjoyable, I would be sure to have WeChat set up prior so you can use the chat translator and have your google translate app out ready. (N.B Make sure you are able to set up the account and get the WeChat validation/security text through your HOME sim/data roaming as opposed to attempting to set up your account on your E-sim which won't work). Facilities It is a hostel that provides what you need. The things that took my British head some time to get around was the shower situation and the bed; namely the shower as it was more typical of an advanced bidet than standard shower. However, it was kept exceptionally clean after my first day there and I did my part of keeping it clean by bleaching it down. The bed is quite sturdy, typical of Chinese beds, so I would recommend bringing a blanket or similar to lay on the mattress so you can get to sleep. There is an upstairs area where you can use the washing machine or wash your clothes by hand and an open area to hang dry your clothes. Make sure you have some cash ready to give to Chu to use the machine. There is a vending machine that you can buy snacks for using the your WeChat pay. There is a seating area at the top where you can sit down and eat, smoke and chat. Once you are used to the different products used (i.e remembering the slippers, using the shower etc.), it becomes second nature and a very comfortable stay (funny story: I was sitting on a desk chair outside my room and being use to the chairs in the UK being quite heavy, I swung myself around and ended up falling off the chair LOL!). Cleanliness Like I mentioned above, the hostel is kept exceptionally clean and I had no concerns around hygiene once I got used to the shower situation. The cleanliness is what I can say was a huge benefit to the hostel. Considering how large the place is and Chu is the sole host, it is kept evidently very clean and Chu will be sure to tell you to tidy up too lool. People in China are not a fan of strong smells/ fragranced things so you will not smell bleach or such products but after seeing a storage room, I can assure they are being used! The photos in the other reviews capture it exactly so you will not be surprised when coming to the place."

"Super friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean facilities and quiet at night. I would recommend the cocktails on the roof bar with a great view. For the price couldn’t ask for better. The only issue is finding the place- in Trip the name is spelled differently to the sign. Look for Metown - it’s accessible via the lift from a car park round the back of the building- floor 10."

"First time staying at youth hostel, feeling like home with services provided, definitely whole new experience to me. The environment is very safe and non-smoking because this is a fully female youth hostel, the owners are very friendly and helpful! The roommates were so enthusiastic and took me to visit some scenic spots. Most importantly, the sharing washroom is very hygienic and the ambiance is so comfortable to stay in! Definitely recommend to female travellers!! Especially single female traveler"

"I stayed in a dormitory style room, which was surprisingly quiet. The sleeping cubicle gives a nice feeling of privacy. Although I booked a “zero pressure” bunk, the mattress was much like what you’d find on a sleeper train. Staff checked me in early, which was nice. There are plenty of stalls in the shared bathroom, and fairly clean when I used them."
