"One of the best choices of our trip was to stay in the Kaiman top floor high altitude hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The views of the city are astonishing and the location is perfect. It's very close to many areas of interest and it is surrounded by very good ”fly restaurants” to try local food and two beautiful coffee shops to get really good coffee in the morning. The surrounding area is very calm and beautiful with some impressive high buildings combined with traditional style houses in taikoo li and the beautiful Buddhist Daci temple. The area is so special that many young people come with professional photographers to get the best pics for their social media. Furthermore, the building of the hotel has a very distinctive H-shape which made it very easy to find and make it back home when we were around. To make the stay even better, the staff of the hotel are really friendly and attentive. They always responded super quickly and went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!"

"Good overall experience, the rooms here have a very interesting design, but there were some problems that I encountered. First of all, the room amenities included a city view, but actually there is just a small window placed very high, through which you cannot see anything else than a wall. In addition to that, the window does not even close, so I was constantly hearing noise from outside. Second, the sink did not function too well,resulting in a slow decreasing level of water, almost like it was clogged. Lastly, in the amenities included there was a minibar, snacks, soda drinks and instant food, all for free. The only things that were actually available were water, tea and some biscuits, which didn't quite fit what was written on Trip."

"I stayed at Rushi (Chaowa) Hotel and overall had a good and pleasant experience, especially in terms of location and service. We arrived quite late, around 10 p.m., and unfortunately my husband had accidentally left his passport at our previous hotel. One male staff member at the front desk was extremely kind and understanding. He allowed me to check in first and even helped carry our very heavy luggage, which I truly appreciated. His kindness and professionalism made a stressful situation much easier, and he definitely deserves recognition. The location of this hotel is excellent. It is truly right next to Tianfu Square and very convenient for Muslim travelers. Huangcheng Mosque is just across the park, easily reachable on foot, and there are halal food options nearby. This location alone makes the hotel a very attractive choice. The room was acceptable for the price, clean and comfortable enough. However, the heater was not very strong, so the room still felt slightly cold. When we first entered the room, the shower was clogged, but communication with the hotel was very easy through WeChat. We contacted the staff and the issue was fixed quickly. Throughout our stay, the staff responded fast and clearly via WeChat, which was very helpful. A few things worth noting are that the shower water pressure was a bit slow, and there was no bidet in the toilet, which may be inconvenient for Malaysian guests, especially Muslims. As for breakfast, the options were quite limited, particularly for vegetarian or Muslim-friendly choices. Since China is now visa-free for Malaysians and many Malaysian Muslims are visiting Chengdu, I sincerely suggest the hotel consider adding more simple items such as fruits, vegetables, bread, toast, or other non–stir-fried options. Even more bread choices would already be a big improvement. With better breakfast arrangements suitable for Muslim guests, this hotel could become almost perfect. During check-out, a staff member named Xiao Zhou gave us a small souvenir (a fridge magnet). She was very sweet and thoughtful, leaving us with a lovely final impression. Overall, Rushi (Chaowa) Hotel offers great value for money, an excellent location, and genuinely helpful staff. With a few improvements, it would be an even better choice, especially for Muslim travelers from Malaysia"

"We really loved this hotel! Located in a beautiful pedestrian area with a temple with easy access to restaurants, shops and bars. Short walk to metro station so easy access to the restaurants of the city. Our deluxe room was beautiful with a separate lounge, bedroom and bathroom and even had 2 balconies although too cold to sit out while we were there. Breakfast was good and tasty and best of all, the staff were wonderful. My wife had a reaction to a bite and 2 staff members took us to hospital and stayed with to help with translation etc. they even called back to the hotel as we’d missed breakfast - way above and beyond what they needed to do!"

"The hotel is highly recommended. It's luxurious and the staff are super friendly and helpful. A big shout to Mia/Elaine who helped us with the checkin. Its location is also perfect. Very close to the walking street Chunxi Road, 10 min walk to IFS and Taiku Li. We loved the vibes there. The hotel also gave us free bus tickets to the Panda Base. We will definitely stay here again."

"I had a really pleasant stay here. The location is excellent — very convenient and within walking distance to IFS and Taikoo Li, making it easy to explore Chengdu. I booked the panda-themed room and was pleasantly surprised to receive a cute panda plush as a welcome gift, and even a small farewell gift upon check-out — such thoughtful details. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. As I don’t have a local China number, they kindly assisted me with ordering on *******, which made things much easier. Food/items ordered can be send up via a robot. They also recommended a nearby spa, which turned out to be a great experience. The room was comfortable and the overall service was warm and attentive. It’s the little touches that made this stay especially memorable. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Chengdu. Especially recommended for travellers visiting Chengdu for the first time."

"The location is easy to find, and it’s convenient to set the location for calling a Didi. It’s within walking distance to Taikoo Li and also convenient to walk to IFS. Being next to the metro makes transportation very easy. The room is considered quite spacious for the price. It’s clean, with no smell of cigarette smoke, and provides large towels. There is a famous mala hotpot restaurant downstairs, so there might be a slight smell outside, but it doesn’t affect the room at all. However, during one of the two nights I stayed, the toilet couldn’t be flushed."
