"The hotel is nice and to Changbaishan visitors centre is close by. The town to main street if walk takes about 20mins so better to get hotel shuttle service to drive around. The good thing about this hotel is that can arrange train station pick up and return but the arrangement is very troublesome. You need to have WeiXin and arrange 1 day before. The department that in charge for this service respond a little slow. Check in hotel process is smooth. Breakfast spread is ok. The driver that came to pick us was great and patients. We even engaged him to drive us to Yanbian for day trip where the national Park was close due to bad weather. Overall stay was good."

"Lovely escape from the city! As soon as we got there (only 15 minutes away from the train station) we were greeted warmly and offered an upgrade to a villa. The villa was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the hotel staff even drove us wherever we needed to go each day. We were lucky and had a very clear view of the lake up on Changbai mountain. I’m glad we chose to stay at this hotel. My children loved the open space, the cats, and the hot tub. Thanks again for your kindness and attention to detail. We hope to be back in the fall."

"Location is close to the forest nature park incl. waterfalls 20 min. (need additional ticket) and is directly at the hot springs bathing area 100m. The entrance ticket was included for the hotel guests. The ticket for waterfalls and vulcano lake could be purchased at the hotel. In general very nice in winter time."

"Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center — where “eco-exchange” really means exchanging knee joints for enlightenment 🐕🦺❄️ This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream: ✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance ✔️ Hot springs inside the compound ✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴 Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course. The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building. In winter. On ice. With wind that slaps. Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up. To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾 Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc. The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸 Then there’s the hot spring schedule. Opens at 13:30. When the mountain is closed and the hot spring is closed what exactly is an old dog meant to do? Stare into the snow? Question life decisions? Age visibly? Ah yes — write this review. ✔️ ⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly. Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus. At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for. It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs. Trip.com, if you’re listening: no guest should ever be pressured to review. The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative. This old dog is an independent reviewer. I don’t bark on command. I don’t roll over for stars. And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle. Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers. "The room is new, clean, and has no cigarette smell. Luggage storage is available. The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to Zhongyang Street, near a famous ice cream shop and a tasty mala sausage stall. The area at the end of Zhongyang Street is beautiful and less crowded. I would stay here again."

"Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel offered a complimentary pick up and drop- off service from the train station which is highly appreciated especially in the cold. The room is clean and location-wise, while there isn’t much around, I could walk to the touristy street in 15 mins with many restaurants in the vicinity. Changbaishan Visitor Center is also about 25 mins by foot. I find it quite convenient! The driver(s) also offered private transport to the various local attractions like hot spring and float down the river at reasonable rate (there is a published rate for transport provided in the hotel for reference) and at discounted price for the various attractions. All in all, I am very pleased with my experience at the hotel!"

"The Chang Bai Shan hot spring hotel is a great hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to visit! They have public hot spring pools that are clean with great amenities.  Around the hotel there is a ‘walking street’ with a great selection of shops within walking distance of the hotel, with a grocery store, a couple of restaurants and a gift shop."

"Crowne Plaza hotel is well equipped with onsen and kids fun slide facility in winter day. There is walking distance to Changbaishan entrance and shuttle back to hotel. But some facilities is come with charge. For children above 1.4m is charge for adult breakfast fees and not much dinner selection. The bedding size for twin sharing is spacious. But, I found their mattress quality needs more improvement for a better comfort. Butler Yuki (yue) do provide a very good service for our convenience and comfort during our stay. Overall is acceptable and some improvements needed."

"地理位置是挺好的，镇上就是非常小，去哪里都方便。 楼下的雪人也很漂亮，我自己订的双床房以為會見到白茫茫的一片，那個位置其實是酒店的後院，如果要見到那個景色必須定全景的房間，酒店就是這個旅遊旺季把價格抬得很高，實際上培訓都不到位，酒店服務前台都很一般，訂的房間送了滑雪2天我們沒去滑讓他們給換成一個小朋友的早餐卷也不肯。一晚上暖氣熱得要命，29度，他們說讓人過來調一下了，結果師傅來了說關了就行了，然後也沒有解決辦法，4個人窩在房間如果只是關了能解決問來幹嘛，住了2晚，浴室的洗浴用品都沒有更換。那個洗浴用品應該目測就5ml，怎麼會認為2大2小的夠用嗎？還沒到提前買了一點東西寄到酒店代收的，也讓自己去快遞間找。感覺越住越不爽就是，反而走的時候有一個前台小姐姐就很好笑容很熱情。接飛機的小哥哥也不錯。 早餐種類不多，就是蒸燒賣，小籠包，蝦餃，排骨這些，還行，餐廳的工作人員就都很不錯，很熱情。 後院的小朋友雪滑梯那裡是很好夠南方小土豆玩。"

The breakfast offered a delicious and impressive variety of hot and cold options to start the day. After being in the cold weather all day, the best part was relaxing in the clean, quiet, and spacious hot springs. Highly recommend!"
