"A comfortable stay with staff who are attentive to service. We loved the location of the ryokan and both the private and public onsens were clean and well-kept. We also found the quality of the food from restaurant very good. Loved how it was nestled high on the mountain which gave a bit of privacy. Shame the front facade was hidden due to renovations, but would love to come back again once it is fully renovated."

"The staff was very friendly and the amenities included use of the onsen for one hour was great as it was included within the price. The room was clean peaceful and had a nice Japanese vibe. Unfortunately, the room is not en suite. I would say the location wasn’t great as you should note it isn’t actually in the main area of Hakone but rather by the lake where you take the boat ride. You also have to walk up a hill to get there."

"This hotel may be a bit remote, but that’s exactly what makes it so peaceful—and absolutely perfect if you’re hoping to catch the sunrise. While you can’t see Mt. Fuji directly from the room, you only need to step out onto the road in front of the hotel to get an incredible view. I highly recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise over Mt. Fuji—it’s truly unforgettable. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals, which is super convenient. I strongly recommend biking along the nearby cycling and walking paths; there’s a beautiful lakeside area with stunning, unobstructed views of Mt. Fuji, and best of all, it’s completely quiet with hardly anyone around. The owner is very warm and welcoming. We rented a car so we didn’t need the free station pick-up service, but it’s great that they offer it—it makes getting there easy even without a car. Just make sure to buy any food or drinks you’ll need in advance, since there aren’t any stores or restaurants nearby. The room was very spacious, well-equipped, and had a lovely traditional Japanese inn vibe. It was such a relaxing stay—I’d highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful with a touch of old-school charm."

"Расположен в 12-15 минутах ходьбы от ж.д. станции Хаконе Юмото. Отель старенький. Заселяли полдня, не могли найти наше бронирование через trip.com, пришлось обратиться в службу поддержки. Выдают юкаты (одинаковые для мужчин и женщин). Брали тематический ужин и завтрак, очень понравилась тонко нарезанная говядина кобе, которая готовиться на горелке на столе. Остальные закуски не понравились. Обслуживание очень медленное, заказанное пиво ждали двадцать минут и принесли только после напоминания. Просили в качестве гарнира рис, но его так и не принесли. Онсен раздельный, крытый бассейнчик и два чана одноместных на балконе. В понедельник людей было мало. Как опыт пойдет, но больше сюда не вернёмся, поищем что то посовременнее."

"**Positives:** ✅ **Modern & Clean:** Well-maintained, spacious rooms with comfortable onsen. ✅ **Good Location:** Convenient access to surrounding areas. **Areas for Improvement:** ⚠️ **Room Location:** - Room extremely far from dining/foot bath – exhausting daily walks (especially with foot concerns). - *Suggestion:* Offer closer room options or service for guests with mobility needs. ⚠️ **Dining Experience (Dinner & Breakfast):** - **Food Quality:** Lamb not fresh; overall quality below ”1 stay 2 meals” onsen standard. No beef , only lamb meat is not fresh. Not satisfied with the food quality. We wanna have cup noodles after meal. Breakfast is slight better. - **Variety:** Insufficient choices (both Western & Japanese); lacked local/seasonal specialties expected at onsen hotels. Pretty disappointed. We been to many onsen hotel in Japan. Never encountered this. - **Service/Clarity:** Buffet poorly organized; unclear signage led to confusion over food availability. - **Expectations:** Meals didn’t showcase regional ingredients or highlight local cuisine like other onsen resorts. Hakone is famous onsen should showcase their seasonal ingredients in this region. **Summary:** Strong potential with modern facilities, but **critical improvements needed in dining quality** and **room accessibility** to meet onsen hotel standards."

"Im very sad. I lost my chanel earing in the hotel. I had a picture upon checkout that i did not wear my earing upon checkout and i remembered i forgotten to wear my earing before checkout which i placed at tv cabinet. I had called the hotel immediately when i realised it through a local japanese (as the hotel cannot speak well fluent in english) and i hope they could revert me whether they are able to locate my earing. After many days, there is no calls from them or even an email. I’m very sad. Checkin in time 3pm check out time 10pm. 9.30am next day morning public bath is already not allowed even before checkout time as the management walked in and stopped my husband to bath. Dinner beef shabu2 is good and breakfast is reasonable quality. Public bath only. Self drive is only convenient for this hotel. I wish the management could contact is if they found my earing at room 204 tv cabinet. Tq."

"The location is great and with good view for sunrise, the room is big and with beds and futons and tables with teapot and cups. The bathroom is small and old. The hot spring is pretty good. Not sure why we are not allowed to park at the parking near the hotel and be asked to park the far one on the hill which need some walk."

"A must stay if you are visiting Hakone! It's a 15 minute walk away from Hakone Yumoto station, or you can pay 200 yen to take the shuttle bus there. You can deliver your luggages there using the baggage service at the train station (for a fee). Place is clean and best of all, there's so many perks staying here. Firstly, there's free private onsen (subject to first come first serve). Secondly, dinner and breakfast are provided. Just need to select your preferred timeslot and head to the restaurant then. Food was delicious, and serving was generous as well. They also serve free ramen at 10.30pm, although it was just a simple bowl of noodles. There's also free drinks provided at L1 and L3, and some free snacks as well at the hotel lobby."

Açık büfenin geri kalanı geniş bir seçkiye sahipti ve ayrıca geniş bir alkol yelpazesi de vardı. Yakınlarda, cam eşyalarınızı kendiniz yapabileceğiniz bir alana sahip, güzelce bakımlı, peyzajlı bir park olan Gora Park bulunuyor. Fiyatlar Çin'dekinden çok daha uygun. Çocuklu aileler için harika bir yer. Eksileri: Demiryolu hattına yakın olduğu için geçen trenlerden hafif bir titreşim oluyor. Ayrıca biraz pahalı. İki yetişkin ve iki çocuk için kahvaltı ve akşam yemeği dahil iki gece için 9.000 NT$'ın üzerinde harcadık. Genel olarak, şiddetle tavsiye ederim. Hem hizmet hem de ortam, gerçek bir tatil hissi veriyor. Tamamen dinlendiriciydi."
