"Very modern Japanese hotel. It is quite new as it is refurbished 2 years ago. Very clean and the onsen in the hotel is very modern. They offer another onsen which is opposite the hotel, which is much bigger but older. Room is small but adequate enough with everything supplied. Free parking and outside is the bus stop for those taking public bus. Overall hotel is great but abit pricy."

"A really lovely hotel, not though in a particularly nice location.  The hotel staff are superb, from your very first welcome to the wave on departure.   There are complimentary drinks available in reception up until 5.30pm and free shuttles to & from Gora.  The free shuttle bus to and from Odawara is also a bonus.  The rooms are pleasantly decorated with comfortable bed and pillows.  The onsen on the balcony was a nice addition.   Whenever we called reception to ask for something they responded instantly. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice with good quality food.   We ate in both evenings as there’s not much around.   Karen in the restaurant was a delightful member of staff, welcoming us back, remembering our drinks choices from the night before and chatting with us about our  next destination.   It’s a pricey hotel but of good quality and handy for going on the Hakone loop."

"Great place to stay. Just 2 min walk from the station. Staff very accommodating, especially for English speaking guests. Restaurant food was really good. Small portions but surprisingly filling! Loved our waited. Would recommend as a nice getaway for couples!"

"The hotel overall is good, will recommend to my friends. Guestrooms: A bit old style, no USB port, had to bring travel adaptor (I am not sure that whether can borrow from hotel because I have brought the adapter) Public bath: It has indoor and open air pool, amenities are completely Breakfast : The breakfast at French restaurant ”Vert Bois” is delicious, it serves individually, not buffet style. Location : The walkway to attraction is uneven and doesn't have street light along the way, so it will be dangerous if you walk in rainy days or night, especially if you have kids. Services : The plus point is the shuttle bus, it can pick you up at Motohakone Port, after 19:30 still can contact them to arrange for pick up."

"來箱根玩住山上還是會方便很多，因為景點好多一天真的不夠，民宿在公交仙鄉樓前站，去桃源台站坐纜車和海賊船都很方便，走出去很近就有全家，店主一家態度超好，温泉體驗也很棒啊，有室內室外温泉，也可以待訂附近的餐廳，離雕刻之森和附近好大一片蘆葦的山坡很近。"

"Beautiful resort in the middle of a remote forest area, perfect for relaxation and connecting with nature. The rooms are cosy and clean. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with chefs preparing freshly made dishes right in front of you! We did find a bug in the room but the hotel is in the middle of the nature so we didn't mind really. The onsen was ok but it was not mixed. Note that if you are not arriving by car and you have luggage, the hotel is uphill so better contact the staff in advance so they can arrange a pick up for you."

"**Positives:** ✅ **Modern & Clean:** Well-maintained, spacious rooms with comfortable onsen. ✅ **Good Location:** Convenient access to surrounding areas. **Areas for Improvement:** ⚠️ **Room Location:** - Room extremely far from dining/foot bath – exhausting daily walks (especially with foot concerns). - *Suggestion:* Offer closer room options or service for guests with mobility needs. ⚠️ **Dining Experience (Dinner & Breakfast):** - **Food Quality:** Lamb not fresh; overall quality below ”1 stay 2 meals” onsen standard. No beef , only lamb meat is not fresh. Not satisfied with the food quality. We wanna have cup noodles after meal. Breakfast is slight better. - **Variety:** Insufficient choices (both Western & Japanese); lacked local/seasonal specialties expected at onsen hotels. Pretty disappointed. We been to many onsen hotel in Japan. Never encountered this. - **Service/Clarity:** Buffet poorly organized; unclear signage led to confusion over food availability. - **Expectations:** Meals didn’t showcase regional ingredients or highlight local cuisine like other onsen resorts. Hakone is famous onsen should showcase their seasonal ingredients in this region. **Summary:** Strong potential with modern facilities, but **critical improvements needed in dining quality** and **room accessibility** to meet onsen hotel standards."

"Nice service! English level of the staff is good. The western meal is good, especially the soup. The hot spring is good and I felt good with the skin. I left on the Valentine’s Day, I received a gift of a chocolate biscuit from the front reception of the hotel. I hope I will visit the hotel again."

"Personel çok nazikti ve her gün konforlu bir konaklama geçirdim. Teşekkürler. Temiz, klasik bir otel ve konukların çoğu rahattı, bu yüzden kendimi çok rahat hissettim. Gün içinde gezdim, ancak bir dahaki sefere salonun verandasında dinlenmenin güzel olacağını düşünüyorum. Kahvaltı büfesi de lezzetliydi. Köri ve güveci çok beğendim. Hakone'ye toplu taşıma ile geldiğim için otelin ücretsiz servisinin Togendai'den akşama kadar devam etmesi çok kullanışlıydı. Çıkış yaptıktan sonra Togendai'ye servis hizmeti de çok kullanışlıydı. Otelin yakınında bir otobüs durağı gibi bir şey vardı, bu yüzden bir dahaki sefere daha esnek bir şekilde gezebilmek için otobüs saatlerini kontrol etmek istiyorum. Yakınlarda restoran yok gibiydi, bu yüzden bir dahaki sefere biraz araştırma yapacağım."

"Great hotel. Service and amenities amazing (except no gym). Thought the rooms was well designed to provide good rest. In my opinion the breakfast was the star. Top Notch!! All in all great experience."
