"I noticed that most people mentioned that the staff was super in hospitality person, and I confirmed that she is an extremely nice staff I've ever met🫶. Even though I arrived at the hotel at midnight but she still happily showed me around and offered me a bigger room. The hotel is located in the city center, which is just a corner to Wuyi Square (get to the metro, shopping or finding a place to eat are very convenient). Not far from the Orange island🧡. Yet, the location is at the street that lots of many restaurants so it's quite noisy at night (but the staff will offer you a quiet room, so you will get a good sleep)💤 room size is reasonable price. Overall, I think it is worth money to stay here and enjoy visiting Changsha."

"Location The hotel's location in Changsha is exceptionally convenient. It is situated directly across from the metro station and is also close to both the railway and high-speed railway stations. This accessibility makes it easy to explore the city and beyond. Additionally, numerous convenience stores and eateries are nearby, providing guests with plenty of options for snacks and meals. Being near the city center further enhances the experience, allowing for easy exploration of local attractions. Room The room is quite spacious, though it does show some signs of age. During my stay, I encountered a few issues with the equipment, but the hotel promptly addressed this by providing me with a new room as compensation. I was grateful for the quick response from the housekeeping staff. While the receptionists were friendly, they could have been more proactive in offering assistance, such as providing a translator given that I was a foreign guest. The water heater functioned well, and although I visited during winter, the split-type air conditioning took some time to warm up the room adequately. Overall, while there are areas for improvement, the hotel offers a comfortable stay with responsive service."

"It’s located next to the train station, it’s about 10-15 mins walk. It doesn’t make sense to take a taxi, as drivers get angry about such a short distance. The bed is comfortable, bed linen and towels are clean. Hotel is okay for one night."

"In general a nice and tidy place. But unfortunately I had bad luck and got a room with only a tiny window (I usually avoid non windows rooms) and I didn’t bother changing it late at night while checking in. But because of the lack of proper ventilation that particular room unfortunately did not have good air. Either there is hidden mold or it was the sink canalisation - but anyways there was a bad small and I woke up with headache and sore throat because of it. Needless to say an unpleasant experience and so I changed to another hotel since there are even better located hotels with similar design and standard around in this area. Also the price increased the following days and suddenly wouldn’t let me book with my pre-bought voucher anymore and seems staff wasn’t prepared to help with that, other than they offered I could switch to a higher floor and with proper window. The location of the hotel is fine but a bit more walking to the hot spots than from other hotels, which personally I don’t mind that much. Generally the design and materials used are of high quality but that alone or the breakfast included both were not a reason to stay for me. Meanwhile beware the elwctric plugs are China standards only. Seems an issue in non tier 1 cities but I was able to get a converter at the reception!"

"Super friendly service that made us feel right at home from the start. The ladies at reception were thoughtful and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel’s strategic location made it easy to explore nearby attractions, and the river view from our room was absolutely unforgettable. "I really have mix option about this hotel so please read it all. The location of this hotel is supposed to be it's strength, but with my window close tight I was force to listen to Karaoke all night long. The music coming from the street down or maybe coming from the river-walk literally went on all night long until 6am in the morning. I couldn't get any good sleep. you do get the river-view and you do get the convenience of the location being close by the city-walk. But you wouldn't expect the noisy level all night for a 5 star hotel. The price is good, probably the lowest in town for a 5 star with a great location. room and bathroom was large size and overall clean. unreasonable crowded lobby with appears to me non hotel guests. also elevator was slow and dumb which the hotel already knew and there were notes in room that addresses the issue. But the most unreasonable problem I had was with the self-served laundry facility. The hotel had 3 sets of washer/dryer. I was able to secure 1 washer and washed my clothes. After my clothes were washed all the dryer was occupied and in-use. So I took my WET clothes back to my room and waited out the timer that was on the 3 dryers and set my alarm so I can come back use the dryer when time is up. My alarm goes off and I was back in the laundry room and the 3 dryer machine had their timers adjusted and drying time was being extended. 1 dryer was occupied by 1 guest and other TWO dryers in use by the 1 same user (there were notes on the machines that indicates which room guest are using each machine). So I set my alarm again and went back to my room with my wet clothes trying to wait it out. Time is up and I went to check on the dryers, while approaching the laundry room I saw a staff coming out from it. And when I went into the laundry room the dryer's timer have been extended and occupied by the same people. I was frustrated and angry, so I went to the hotel front lobby to report the issue hoping to get a solution. the front lobby acknowledge that it was their staff that is helping the other room guest extending the timers and taking care their laundry. WELL its self-sever laundry so the staff shouldn't have done that and if they wanted to provide service and change the usage rules then they should give an opportunity for other guests to use the machines too. ESPECIALLY one of the guest is using TWO machines at the same time. Shouldn't the staff stop one machine and let me/others guest use it and when we are done that guest can hog up two machines again. But, no, front lobby attendant insist that guest can use two machines until their clothes are dry/done. WHAT?! so I ask, if a guest hogs up 3 machines at the same time and use it for 10 hours straight other guest should just wait or not be able to use the laundry? Her solution for me was to leave my clothes in the laundry and when the other guest clothes are dry and the staff will help to put my clothes in the dryer for me. WHAT, NO. first hygiene issue I don't want anyone else to touch my washed clothes. second, what if my clothes were missing, like a sock or something. by then, an apology don't turn things back and it's called a self-served laundry for a reason. It was like 3am, in the end I didnt get to dry my clothes. I had to pack up my simi wet clothes the next day to check out with lack of sleep. I brought to the manager's attention about the ordeal I went through during check out and she apologized for what I went through the night. She authorized a partial credit refund for my stay, so please keep in mind I gave 2/5 for service because she brought it back. otherwise, the service would have been 0 or 1 star. "Before our arrival the hotel staff called to confirm our stay. Thereafter they contacted via WeChat to ask if we needed any help, they recommended places to eat and sites to visit. They were super helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable."
