設施：新開業的，沒有味道，設施設備用的都比較高端，床墊睡着很舒服。
衞生：乾淨整潔，床品都是新的，蓋着很舒服。
環境：位於大理古城核心南門，晚上逛古城很愜意，去哪兒都很方便，去洱海的龍龕碼頭都才4公里。
服務：老闆和藹可親的，有什麼問題都可以找老闆幫忙，還會介紹玩法的呢，也會講旅遊當中會遇到的坑，教我們怎麼避免。老闆超級好！

JJade 丁玉儿The hotel owners are very kind and accommodating. Trainstation pick up and drop off, always asking if we need anything, greeted us with free Yunnan style noodles which were very fresh and delicious and gifted us some Pu'r tea before our departure. It is in a very quiet location and has a view of Lake Erhai. You can walk to the river front in about ten minutes.

XXiandapia出遊雲南，在大理古城挖到一家超棒的名宿，必須分享一下！
名宿在玉洱路旁邊的一個小巷子裏面，進來也就幾米的距離，隔絕了大路旁的喧囂，就顯得格外安靜！一走進民宿，公共區域是一個漂亮的小院，種滿了花花草草，院裏還有一衹名叫來福的小貓咪，格外的活潑好動。
管家很熱情好客，幫忙搬行李🧳，房間佈置得超用心，柔軟的床鋪讓人躺下就感覺疲憊全消！還有各種高品質的洗漱用品，住起來很舒服！

DDouermi閨女放假了，倆人一商量，去昆明。
第一站昆明，後面再評論。
第二站，大理。
整個行程的機票，動車，酒店都是女兒一手操辦。
我衹負責掏錢🤲💵
這個酒店女兒選的，和我也知會了，我同意。
但當真正看到它，我驚艷了。
酒店服務裏有接和送服務，我們選了接站。
酒店先為我們建立的微信羣，在裏面發佈消息。
服務員小許事先在微信裏聯繫了我，知道我具體到站時間，他準時出現在停車場，陽光燦爛的笑容，温文爾雅的形象，給我很好的印象。
接站幫我們拉行李，到了酒店幫忙送行李上樓，特別貼心的服務，回家的感覺。
我們由於要去麗江，大理衹是想看看洱海，所以，衹住一個晚上。
酒店很新，聽説是9月份剛開業。屋裡沒有什麼裝修的味道，面積有五六十平方米，很寬敞。
衞生間淋浴，浴缸🛁，智能馬桶一應俱全。
最關鍵地理位置做到了，面向洱海，四季入懷😁
窗外美麗的景色讓我這個地道北方人不由得驚歎！
全屋智能語音操作，很科技。
晚上關好門窗，安靜，睡得很舒服。窗簾遮光性極好。
酒店提供下午茶，不提供晚餐服務，可自行到文筆村的街邊轉轉，豐儉由人。大堂裏的貓舍很吸睛，是我喜歡的布偶，不怕的話，可以擼貓。
早上的早餐，精緻美味，愛吃豬肉米線，自覺做的比外面的好吃。（見圖片）小許，劉輝，小喇為客人忙前忙後，端茶倒水，現做咖啡。
幾個陽光帥氣的小夥子為這個酒店增添了不少好感度，他們陽光，愛笑，積極向上。我覺得酒店設施和服務一樣都不能缺失，好的服務是加分項。

推薦到洱海來的朋友入住這家酒店，絕對不會讓你們失望。

MMisafir KullanıcıWe had a great one night stay just outside the edge of Dali old town. Service from the staff was fantastic bringing us extra cups to make tea and even better provided shuttle drop-off and pickup direct to the old town.
Room was spacious and well stocked with water and other amenities. Our only wish might be that the glass between the shower and toilet was frosted. In the morning we had a great view of Cangshan. All in all a great stay in a convienent location.

Ddeci16I cannot recommend Sunyata Homestay in Dali enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience of genuine warmth and care. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a serene escape after long days of exploring. The afternoon tea and breakfast they served were nothing short of extraordinary. I’ve stayed in multiple 4-5 star hotels across China over the past month, but the gourmet food here easily surpassed them all. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, leaving me in awe of the flavors and quality.
The location of Sunyata Homestay is also perfect. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds to remain peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Dali Ancient City that it’s only a few steps away from great eateries and the heart of the ancient town. The balance is ideal for anyone seeking convenience without sacrificing tranquility.
A special shout-out to the young lady working in the coffee shop up front—her coffee is unparalleled! My husband, who is a daily coffee drinker and rarely impressed, couldn’t stop raving about her brews. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had during our travels.
The staff here deserve every bit of praise. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. However, what truly sets Sunyata apart is the incredible owner. My father had a bad accident in Dali on a rainy day, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without his support. Despite my limited Mandarin, he spent an entire day accompanying me to the hospital, ensuring we were well cared for and understood. The next day, he went out of his way to pick up the CT scans for us. His kindness and compassion left me speechless.
The owner’s dedication to his guests is reflected in his amazing team, all of whom go above and beyond. Without his help, I would have had to cut my trip to China short. Instead, he turned a difficult situation into one where we felt supported and cared for like family.
Sunyata Homestay is truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for their hospitality. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of comfort, care, and culinary delights. Thank you, Sunyata, for everything!

GGpranceThe staff at Hmyway was very thoughtful and made my stay more enjoyable. The hotel is very close to Dali Ancient city south entrance (5min walk) and your taxi (didi) could drive all the way to the hotel doorstep, so there would not be any problem if you have a big luggage. There are also plenty of food options around the hotel.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Dali Spirited Away Panoramic Sea View Guesthouse. The caretaker/manager was extremely friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcome from the start. I’m especially thankful for his help in contacting my DiDi driver to retrieve my mobile phone that I accidentally left in the car — his assistance really went above and beyond.
The room was great — clean, comfortable, and well maintained — and the panoramic Erhai Lake view was absolutely stunning, making the stay even more special. Waking up to such a beautiful view was a highlight of my trip.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would love to stay here again on my next visit to Dali. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great views and excellent hospitality!

JJovin_WongI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dali Ancient Town Meishan Guesthouse, and it exceeded my expectations in every possible way.
Location – unbeatable and worry-free
The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of Dali Ancient Town. As soon as you step outside, you’re surrounded by beautiful ancient streets and alleys, full of local character. 2-3 mins walk away from the Bars. Attractions, cafes, shops, and amazing food are all within walking distance, which made exploring incredibly easy and stress-free. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay felt completely worry-free.
Service – warm, genuine, and unforgettable
The biggest highlight of this guesthouse is without a doubt the host. The lady boss is unbelievably friendly, considerate, and welcoming. She is super nice, enthusiastic, and very meticulous in everything she does. From contacting me in advance, patiently explaining routes, to sharing travel tips and local suggestions, she made me feel taken care of even before I arrived. Staying here truly felt like coming home rather than staying at a guesthouse.
What made this stay truly special was the personal connection. She even invited me to join a barbecue with her and her friends. We had drinks, chatted late into the night, and shared stories about our cultures, life views, and experiences. Even though I only stayed for two nights, that evening made my time in Dali unforgettable. I felt incredibly lucky to have arrived back just in time for the barbecue.
The Bai Jiu, the Yi Zu-style barbecue pork, and the homemade dumplings she made were all fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, and full of laughter. Even small details were fun, like the pot cover shaped like the Rolls-Royce Spirit of Ecstasy, which gave us a good laugh. It was one of those nights you don’t plan for, but it’s the highlight of the trip that you will remember for a long time. 😎
Room & Sleep Quality – quiet, comfortable, and well designed
The room itself was quiet and very comfortable, with good sound insulation and a thoughtful renovation design that blends modern comfort with traditional charm. The bedding was clean and high quality, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. I slept extremely well every night. The entire guesthouse is beautifully designed, cozy, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring.
Value – exquisite and worth every penny
This is a highly cost-effective and exquisite accommodation. You can see the attention to detail everywhere, from the design to the service. It perfectly balances the charm of the ancient town with modern convenience. It’s absolutely worth experiencing, and I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next trip.
Final thoughts
I returned home a few days ago, but when I think back on my trip to Yunnan, Dali still stands out as the most chill and relaxing place and Meishan Guesthouse is a big reason why. The friendly host, the warm atmosphere, and the meaningful conversations made this stay truly special.
If I could give 11 stars, I would. Hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Highly, highly recommended. Will definitely be back!!!
