"Very close to 洱海 and easy to go to 大理古城 the neighborhood where is located 才村 is super cozy, with a lot of good coffee places and delicious 饵块. I must recommend to pick a room with look to the lake is very worth it ( sadly we didn’t pick that one). The only weakness is the location is a bit tricky to go in with luggage the streets are not paved which is part of the charm of the place but when u carry luggage is not that good but I don’t blame the stay for this generally is all very good, the staff super kind and the generally stay very very cozy."

"Is a nice and cozy homestay, and with helpful owner. The owner will boil you a cup of coffee if you need it and also Chinese tea. Very near to ancient town, convenient. With welcome fruit and snack."

"This is the 2nd time with Homestay. I didn’t expect too much since 1st Homestay didn’t leave me a good impression. However, it’s totally different story here. Staff are extremely friendly , services are perfect, amazing food, bedding is comfortable, pet friendly, nice mountain view from room windows directly, very close to Dali old town. A lot of tour tips are also shared, like local cuisine, nice places to check out. Ever remind you about safety everyday. What else more can you expect! I’m happy to stay here but unfortunately the trip has to move on. We will see each other again."

"We had a wonderful stay (traveling from NY and Poland). The room is world-class—the sunrise view of Erhai Lake from the bathtub is unforgettable. The highlight was the service. Huge thanks to Cheng Qiqi (程七七) who was incredibly helpful, especially with ordering food and even helping us source a replacement keyboard! Even with a language barrier, the staff was eager to help. Note on Location: You need a Didi to get around, but they arrive in minutes and the Old City is very close.
