"We had a wonderful stay at Protom International Hokkaido, and it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip.
The hotel kindly surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to the Junior Twin Suite, and the room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were so happy when we entered the room — it felt bright, modern, and very relaxing, especially after a long day of travel.
What touched us the most was the kindness of the hotel staff. Everyone was polite, warm, and always ready to help. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcomed, not just as guests, but like friends.
We are very grateful for the upgrade and the wonderful service. This stay made our Hokkaido trip even more special. We will definitely choose Protom International Hokkaido again next time.

"We booked the family room. Room is big, clean and quiet. Even our room is nearby elevator, and the hotel is by the road side, we didn’t hear any noise/sound. Comfy bed. Walking distance to susukino area. They only have 13 parking slots for guests, website written first come first serve, free for guests. However there was one night we saw one free slot but one japanese lady stand there waiting her daughter for about 30 minutes and said they paid for the parking, we can’t park. We stop there as there was no space at the nearest parking. We checked with front desk, the staff on duty (a lady, can’t speak English) communicated with them in Japanese and then told us we can’t park there. We had to get a paid parking nearby and tried to communicate with the front desk again. She said hotel manager will reply us in email about this case. The manager emailed the next morning informed they will put a cone whenever there is a free slot the next day, they will reserve a slot for us. The next day morning as there were many slots so we just park our car there. But we didn’t see any reserved parking with cone.
The hotel and room is good. Just need to improve the front desk service. We stayed 4d3n."

"Nicely renovated hotel. Unfortunately staff are new and surprising not many front desk staff can converse in English.
Breakfast was good with many choices. However, we couldnt eat most of the time as my family has to go for activities early like skiing and local tours. The cafe staff allows us to start breakfast before the opening time but an English speaking lady with a coat turned up one morning and stopped us from starting breakfast early before the opening time. She was so rude and told us wait till 630 before we can touch the food!
I dont see why we cannot start with cereals that was already on display.
I will return to stay as the hotel is new, rooms are large and the onsen is clean and comfortable. There was a gym and laundry facilities too"

The view from the high-floor rooms is probably the standout feature. Facing the mountain range, the scenery is impressive in the morning and equally good at night when the city lights are up. Inside, the room felt well-designed, particularly the bathroom. It’s quite large by Japanese standards, and the bathtub is actually big enough to relax in. They provide bath salts and powders, which is a nice touch, as is the Dyson hairdryer—it's a significant upgrade over the standard wall-mounted versions you usually find in hotels. Overall, it was a practical, pleasant stay where the location and the views really justified the choice."

"For the price I think the room was nice and fairly large for Japan the public bath and onsen was a nice touch too. There was a slight unpleasant smell however coming from the toilet. Breakfast was okay the buffet is the best out of the 3 options. Location is pretty good not too far from the train station but walkable to the main downtown (~1km plus) pictures is from the Japanese breakfast"

EEmmazhaostayed here for two days ，the hotel is in a good location and it's a relatively nice hot - spring hotel in the local area. Here are some aspects that I found a bit inconvenient during my check-in, and I'd like to share them with you.
1. The housekeeper suggested wearing the clothes and slippers provided by the hotel. It's a pity that all the sizes are the same. It doesn't matter much about the clothes, but the slippers are too big. They make it extremely difficult to walk and it's very easy to and fall.
2. There are a lot of steps in the room. An elderly person in my family tripped and fell when going to the toilet in the middle of the night. You must be careful at night.
3. Most of the customers are Japanese. As for payment, they can only pay in cash or use Visa or Master cards. UnionPay cards cannot be used here.
4. One last thing to pay special attention to is the door of the room. You need to lock it additionally both when entering and exiting the room. If you don't fasten all the locks from the inside when you come in, people outside will be able to open the door. We've already had the embarrassing experience of three of us lying in bed when a group of people suddenly burst in from outside. Please keep this in mind.

There was a private car park nearby which we parked our car there. Receptionist were helpful. Oh, there’s a 7-11 just right next to the hotel which is perfect!!

The hotel does provide a shuttle bus from Sapporo city, which typically takes about an hour, but you also need to book that at least a month in advance, according to various bloggers. It was quite disappointing not to enjoy the private bath experience and to have to arrange our own transportation from/back to the city. The frustrating part is that you wouldn’t know the advance booking requirement when you make a reservation through Trip.com or similar platforms. Here’s a rephrased version of your statement:

However , the room they offer is totally different with the photo . My parents really upset about it because that is the worst toilet they had never been in Japan .
We will not reserve this hotel if we know that the toilet is not separate and not offer electronic toilet board. The room is clean , however , that is not our ideal type . Staff is kind however only one room can change. Location is fine, few restaurants nearby .
My parents had bad experience with the hotel
And they really don’t like the traditional toilet
We don’t mind to pay more to enjoy better facilities

VVibzzHad a wonderful stay at Hotel Emisia Sapporo.
The staff were absolutely the best — friendly, professional, and always helpful. The hotel itself is great, very comfortable, and well maintained.
Parking was also absolutely wonderful, very convenient and stress-free, which made our stay even better.
Even the breakfast restaurant was on the 31st floor with a beautiful sky view, which made the whole experience even more special.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sapporo. Would definitely stay here again!Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Emisia Sapporo.

During my time there, weather was cold out so the room only had 3 levels, low heat, medium heat and high heat. There is no way to sleep in those conditions and it took me a while to realize because the receptionist on the help desk phone did not speak English, so I went down to the lobby past midnight to ask the only staff available. Through some help on google translate and his hand gestures, I was told that I had to leave my windows open to let cold air into the room. This was not explained at any point during the check-in so I guess that's the downside for foreigners wanting to stay here. There's also a hot spring tax you have to pay when you check out. All things considered Jozankei is not a big town so everything is accessible and the hotel is generally comfortable otherwise.

MMisafir Kullanıcı学会があったのでいく用事あったが、子供にも楽しい思い出をと思ってプールがあるここに子供連れて泊まりました。
朝のブッフェも美味しかった。ウォータースライダー2本やってないから週末のウォータースライダー毎日今月だけらしい。なくても21:00までプールで遊べてその後温泉でゆったりでした。
