"Had a lovely stay at this hotel in Sapporo. The room was a decent size and came with a couple of thoughtful touches that made the stay more comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the view—our room overlooked a beautiful park, and since it was sakura season, we were lucky enough to enjoy the cherry blossoms right from our window. It was a truly relaxing and memorable experience.
The TV offered a surprisingly wide variety of channels, which was great for unwinding in the evening. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently close to Nakajimakoen Station, making it easy to get around the city.
Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and seasonal beauty."

"Great staff and amazing restaurant/bar. Cheong the manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful as were the older cleaning ladies.Breakfast average but with a great view. Husband loved the onsen. The only bad things for me were the fact we had to pay for parking.. not always near the hotel, and the bed for me was very uncomfortable. Otherwise nice food in the restaurant and reasonable restaurants around :)"

"We stayed on the 17th floor and enjoyed an excellent view of Sapporo city, from the clock tower to the ferris wheel. The lights were especially delightful at night. The check in and out service is efficient, albeit impersonal, but we didnt mind that at all. The hotel is beside Nakajima Koen, and its slightly situated further away from the hustle n bustle of Susukino. If u like the relative quiet, that's part of the charm :)"

"The JR Tower Hotel Nikko is a solid choice for anyone looking for convenience in Sapporo. Its location right on top of the JR station makes getting around incredibly straightforward, especially if you have luggage. Since it’s connected to the shopping malls and the city's massive underground walkway, it’s easy to duck back to the room to drop off shopping bags or take a break without going out of your way.
The view from the high-floor rooms is probably the standout feature. Facing the mountain range, the scenery is impressive in the morning and equally good at night when the city lights are up. Inside, the room felt well-designed, particularly the bathroom. It’s quite large by Japanese standards, and the bathtub is actually big enough to relax in. They provide bath salts and powders, which is a nice touch, as is the Dyson hairdryer—it's a significant upgrade over the standard wall-mounted versions you usually find in hotels. Overall, it was a practical, pleasant stay where the location and the views really justified the choice."

"Hotel Nord Otaru is just next to Otaru Canal, very convenient location. Especially wanted to choose this lovely hotel which I stayed 10 years ago in year 2015 with my family of 5 person.
Booked to stay 3 nights in 2 rooms,one with Otaru Canal view and another with city view.
Breakfast is considered good and satisfactory, with snowy canal view.Although is an old classic hotel but is nostalgic to me, clean and well-maintained. Staff service is good but please note one of my room somehow came with no cleaning room service,additional charge 500 yen per day to clean it.
For my another room that has daily room cleaning service, just make sure remember to place outside the door knob, the hanging door card requiring room cleaning,else they will not clean.All is clearly explained by staff and also stated in a note given on the day when you checked into your room.
Overall, I am happy with the stay and will come back same hotel again."

MMisafir KullanıcıWe'd the most amazing stay at Sosei Hotel M Gallery. It is a very beautiful hotel with nice amenities & a host of friendly & great staff. Especially a very sweet Nepalese girl, Maisara. She helped us with our heavy luggages & at breakfast the next morning, introduces the best offerings at breakfast buffet. The seasonal sweet persimmons, matcha latte & smoothies was served by her to our table. She really made our day with her warm hospitality.
The hotel has a underground way to Sapporo factory Mall & was 10 mins walk to Airport Bus at ANA Crown Plaza. It's also near Sapporo Beer Garden for Ghenghis Khan Buffet. We took cab( less than 1000Y) to where all activities are when too tired to walk.

MMisafir KullanıcıThe hotel room is much larger than a typical hotel room in Japan, making it very convenient for packing and organising luggage. The service and hospitality are truly at a five-star level. The staff were very helpful and even assisted us with booking a taxi to the airport.
The only minor drawback is that the hotel is not directly within the Tanukikoji (狸小路) shopping street area. It takes about an 8-minute walk, either through Pole Town (Exit 8 is right in front of the hotel) or by walking outdoors. That said, the hotel is only a 3-minute walk to the TV Tower and Odori Park, and it is very close to public transportation.

The hotel does provide a shuttle bus from Sapporo city, which typically takes about an hour, but you also need to book that at least a month in advance, according to various bloggers. It was quite disappointing not to enjoy the private bath experience and to have to arrange our own transportation from/back to the city. The frustrating part is that you wouldn’t know the advance booking requirement when you make a reservation through Trip.com or similar platforms. Here’s a rephrased version of your statement:

RRebekah GOh I absolutely loved this hotel! It’s walking distance (15-20mins max) to Sapporo Station, Susukino for shopping etc! And not to mention the great view of Odori Park just right infront!
Service was great too, nothing to complain about at all! We’ll be back here when we travel to Sapporo City again.

As we only stayed for a night instead of two due to unforeseen train suspension, ww didn’t have the time to explore the facilities. For checking in, the staff did take some time to search for my reservation as we did not check in earlier but the staff managed to search after we explained our situation. We had a good rest as the bed and pillow were comfortable. It would be better if the hotel provides some coffee (please note this hotel has only green tea) and body lotion are available.

Location: in the Jozankei Onsen town that’s about an hour + out of Sapporo. Honestly if you’re in a group, just book a cab out, it was about $80++ for 3 of us! Otherwise remember to book the Onsen bus shuttle early in advance 🥹
Area around Onsen is nothing much besides other Onsen houses, a small cafe and other smol tourist picture spots.
Back to the Ryokan: this was my first experience being in one and I’m so glad I chose this place! Mum and sister throughly enjoyed it as well, using our in room Onsen ( there’s 2!) and also the shared common Onsen with an outdoor facing the snow too ❄️☃️♨️
Service:The staff was extremely polite and efficient, seeing the reviews of them being rude was kinda uncalled for. They were nothing but kind and attentive. It is a very quiet and peaceful place , I understand the need for all guests to be maintain the atmosphere too.
Food: amazing, one of the best meals I’ve had in Japan so far ♥️ the pictures below speaks for itself 🥹 private dining room to enjoy the view too🏔️
Loved small touches too like the mikimoto soaps , Dyson hair dryers ( in the public Onsen) And the chopstick souvenirs 🥹
I can’t wait to come back here again with my partner 🤍

MMisafir KullanıcıNeed to walk around 20 minutes from Sapporo station. Hard to find since there is no sign or poster on the entry writing hostel . Rather cafe , after going 3 times round the block I finally read in small print ten to ten .
10 minutes away from any seven eleven or family mart, 30 minutes away from Ōdōri park , I found the location to be not ideal . On their website they write they have a laundromat , which is wrong . No washing machine , I find it disappointing in Japan where every hostels or hotels have one . The lady at the desk told me to go and wash clothes is quite far . Also don’t believe the photos on their website or promotions pictures . There is no park down the building . It’s a small hostel in a small street isolated from the rest of the neighborhood.
For the hostel itself , classic , nothing to say except some of the curtains on their bed don’t close properly , the bed is very comfortable , bathroom clean and you can change towels every day . Breakfast is for free every morning at 8 and it is a coffee and a small bread . Still delicious . Staff is not always on the premises, morning and evening .
In a nutshell. Was good for a short stay but will definitely look for another one with better equipment ( laundromat ) and better location ( closer to a family mart ) next time .
