"Double Tree Hilton is awesome hotel with professional service from the ground staffs. Friendly front desk staffs, attentive housekeeping team Wonderful buffet breakfast and dinner at the ”LUSH” ALL DAY DINING team. Double Tree signature biscuit is always our favorite and thanks for the free Valcano onsen and free ride back and forth to the ski activities. Will definitely stay here again for our further visits"

"The staff were very kind and we were impressed by their sincere attitude toward the guests. We booked the Gyegok trekking through Trip.com, but as foreigners, we had trouble communicating with the trekking company. The manager helped us, and we had a wonderful time that will remain a pleasant memory. If we have the chance to come to Changbai Mountain again, we would definitely choose this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We are truly grateful for the warm hearts of all the staff. Also, grilling skewers and enjoying a glass of soju in the hotel parking lot was an unforgettable delight."

"Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center — where “eco-exchange” really means exchanging knee joints for enlightenment 🐕🦺❄️ This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream: ✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance ✔️ Hot springs inside the compound ✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴 Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course. The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building. In winter. On ice. With wind that slaps. Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up. To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾 Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc. The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸 Then there’s the hot spring schedule. Opens at 13:30. When the mountain is closed and the hot spring is closed what exactly is an old dog meant to do? Stare into the snow? Question life decisions? Age visibly? Ah yes — write this review. ✔️ ⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly. Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus. At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for. It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs. Trip.com, if you’re listening: no guest should ever be pressured to review. The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative. This old dog is an independent reviewer. I don’t bark on command. I don’t roll over for stars. And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle. Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers. "Delicious korean hotplate and BBQ restaurants nearby in walking distance. Breakfast was delicious too. We got a room on the top floor and the room was a bit cold during winter. Hotel receptionist was helpful for travel information."

"因為感覺萬達度假區的酒店都比較老舊，非常慶幸自己定了煥森酒店，酒店的一切都非常舒適，工作人員非常專業有耐心，我們定的是三晚套餐，包含了滑雪，冰上活動，雲頂天宮門票，這三天幾乎不用再自己操心，一價全包。更貼心的是他們把活動接送服務也全部包括了，滑雪回來還可以在露天泡温泉，真的非常舒服。酒店的早餐也非常的豐盛，周邊吃喝應有盡有，極力推薦。"

"來長白山玩果斷選了松悦宮民俗客棧，體驗感直接拉滿！客棧藏在二道白河鎮的煙火氣裏，出門步行就能到美人松公園，地理位置也特別棒！一進門就被朝鮮族風情包圍，原木色裝潢搭配傳統彩繪，像住進了韓劇裏的温馨小屋，重點誇一下衞生，房間打掃得一塵不染，床單被罩沒有一點褶皺和污漬，衞生間也沒有異味，連角落都乾乾淨淨，看得出工作人員打掃得很用心 。最驚喜的是全屋智能設備，喊一聲“小度”就能調燈光、拉窗簾，智能馬桶和恆温熱水也超加分。老闆簡直把“貼心”刻進了服務裏：提前聯繫高鐵站免費接站，幫忙規劃遊玩路線！！地暖烘得屋子暖融融的，玩了一天回來往鬆軟的床上一躺，疲憊全消！下次來長白山必須二刷！"

"Good location in up and coming new development suburb, away from the city crowd. Public bus#2 ply outside hotel is a plus factor. Walking distance to the numerous food outlets ( especially Korean). Hotel travel desk staff helpful in mountain trip bookings. Hot breakfast food is palatable. Must try the package of Hot Spring pool after the mountain day exploration. Spacious room/apartment and support staff from counter to butler service is commendable."

"Our family of 4 had a wonderful 2 nights stay in mid December. The great service started even prior to our stay as we had 2 personal concierge 小张 & 莹莹 assigned to us. We had requested for connecting rooms via Trip and 小张 & 莹莹 contacted us directly via WeChat. They not only helped us get connecting rooms, they also gave advice and helped to arrange for our luggages to be sent to the hotel while a private driver (additional cost) picked us from the train station to start our tour of Changbaishan immediately so that we do not have to waste time traveling. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful as well. Our room package included 3hr ski tickets and access to the natural hot spring. It was our family’s first time trying to ski and we asked our personal concierge to arrange for private coach (additional cost). Immediately upon arriving at the ski lodge the coach was waiting and led us through the entire chaotic process of collecting and wearing the gears. The hotel has direct unlimited access to the hot spring and it was also a great experience not to be missed (Don’t forget to pack your swim wear!) It even has a fish pool where we dip our whole body. There’s also a Cute Pet Paradise with different animals you can feed. Overall there’s plenty of activities for everyone and we will definitely highly recommend the hotel to everyone coming to Changbaishan."
